Never Again!

I ordered items for my daughter in laws baby shower. My first order came very quickly but the the second order was lagging. I called to ask when I could expect it and was told it could be shipped that day for an additional fee of $10.00. I couldn't get a satisfactory answer as to why it hadn't already been sent. I should have followed my first instict and canceled, but I agreed to the $10. They didn't charge me $10. They charged me the original fee plus $10. They double charged me! The first time I called to complain they said they voided the first charge and I should see it in my account in 24 hours. I complained everyday for five days before that charge fell off. It cost me $105 in overdraft charges. And the quality of the merchandise wasn't even that good. Never again!

I like the scene, however, the Commandments are incorrect.
Commandments 1 and 11 should be combined as 1.
Commandment 11 is " not taking the Lord's name in vain".
Commandment 111 is "keep holy the sabbath".
Commandment IV is " honor father and mother" etc.
As a result, I am unable to use the sticker scene with my Faith Formation class.

Don't trust, misleading

Placed order for 144 units as advertised and received an email I was being shipped 48 units.
Contacted by email they stated they would fulfill the order. No communication back or updated tracking. Contacted again they said I would be refunded. Wasted 20 days with this vendor and time who does not fulfill what they have stated.
Screen shot below of what I purchased and then they updated the web site 48 hours later.

Last order ill ever make with them

I use to love this company for party supplies. But just like others I used the $15 promo "we miss you" email and enrolled myself into a fun rewards membership without even realizing. No where on my order even states I signed up for this. Even the emails i received for "fun rewards" are worded so well so you don't even notice you've signed up for anything until they are charging you $15/mo. Every store has a rewards program. Sneaky, gross, and completely designed to fool their customers. Change your marketing practices, its absolutely terrible and deceitful.

Nasty sneaky company

After you place an order a pop up comes up asking if you would like to sign up for fun rewards to get 10% back on orders and unlimited free shipping. But when you sign up for it you dont realize that you are signing up for a monthly subscription for $14.95. They never ask for any payment information so you have no reason to believe that any payment is involved but Oriental trading shares your payment details with them and when the monthly charge hits your account it says oriental trading on the statement but when you contact oriental trading they tell you to call fun rewards. The fun rewards customer service reps are rude as hell and hung up on me when I requested an email confirmation that it was cancelled.

Terrible!

They. Use photogs that sent accurate and make item look larger than they actually are. Then when you want to return they expect you to pay return shipping. There customer service chat people are worthless too! Will never buy from them again! BUYERS BEWARE!

I have bought a ton of kids crafts from Oriental Trading. Not the best quality but fun for the kids. However I recently discovered that they signed me up for rewards program and charged my credit card $14.95 a month for "Fun Rewards" program. They claim I had to click on something but I never would have intentionally agreed to this program. Now I'm trying to get my money back. Customer service at Fun Rewards told me they will only give me 6 of the 9 monthly fees back. I just had to call Fun Rewards back a week later as the refund has still not been posted to my account. Told me the bank is holding it up. Called my credit card, they told me they don't ever block credits/refunds. I will never order from this company again.

Dont waste your money. The house designed with the roof so close to the perch, a butterfly couldnt access. Sure, kept out birds and squirrels, but the racoons destroyed the perch in 2 nights.
Wish we had caught no free returns.
Audubon approved? Must not have been tested on real birds...

I was charged this morning $16.81. I've not used the website in MONTHS and unsubscribed from emails. I reached out to customer service who told me that I signed up for some sort of rewards program?!?!?! WHEN?!? Customer service told me I would have to email or call them because, no, they can't cancel it on the chat. This is *******% fraud; they charged my credit card without consent. I can't even find where they have my credit card on file in order to delete it! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE!

I ordered supplies for my daughter's birthday. I paid $32 dollars alone for the fastest shipping to make sure it got here in time not including the supplies. UPS physically went into my garage and put the carboard box it was in next to other broken down cardboard. They refused to give me at least a partial refund for the shipping I paid because they expected me to not just track it on their website (which I did) but also the UPS website.

DONT EVER BUY FROM HERE - I bought a small item worth $15. That purchase got me subscribed to some monthly membership that has been charging me $15 ever month! What fraud of a company! Don't risk buying no matter how attractive or cheap things look!

Fun Rewards + Unauthorized Charge

Order from Oriental Trading was fine

However... After I finished my order there was a pop up window asking if I would like to receive a credit for the shipping I just paid, just enter your email sign up for our news letter and we will issue you a credit.

At no time did it mention that I was signing up for a Fun Rewards + membership and that I would be charged 14.95 per month until I called their customer service and make a request to cancel the Fun Rewards + program.

One single misleading click. This is deceptive, it is an unethical business practice, I did not request this membership, I did not authorize these charges.

I will never purchase from Oriental Trading again. I advise that you do the same.

Border Line scam

I placed a large order with Oriental Trading Company and upon finishing a page followed that offered a $10 rebate if I joined. I have done a lot of business with them in the past so I thought it was a legit promo. On clicking yes they informed we they would use my credit card from the order that I did not give them permission to use nor did I keep it on file and they would CHARGE me $14.95 a month to be a member. I called them on the scam they tried to tell me it wasn't a scan so I asked if not, why didn't you provide the information up front before someone hit the join button and they had no answer. Of course, everyone I talked to from the rewards organization to a supervisor on Oriental could not immediately remove my card and cancel, instead they would "make a request" for my removal. I want my credit card removed from their system and I don't want to be charge a fee I didn't authorize.

Have had to talk to customer service twice about being refunded the $16 the randomly charged me over 2 months after I had purchased one costume from them. They tried to say I signed up for a subscription but I know I didn't, and why the hell would I? I never planned on buying anything else from this site and I didn't get anything from them to warrant a subscription. Plus the charge came almost a full two months later, they didn't charge me for any "subscription" the previous month. I'd be very wary of this site. I got my costume but also paid a arm and a leg for shipping, $40. If you do purchase, I'd make sure any card you used was removed immediately after you purchase.

They also try to use "business days" as a way to act like 2-3 days is somehow longer than a normal day? They had told me 2-3 days for a refund, so when 3 days later (today) I still haven't received it, I called and was told now it's 3-5 business days. It hasn't been the weekend so I'm not sure why she even empathized business days twice. As of now I still haven't received a refund, so we'll see if that even happens.

OTC "Not-so-fun" Rewards

We discovered a random $14.99 charge on our bank transactions from "OTC Fun Rewards". My wife bought party supplies from Oriental Trading Company and had no idea how we got signed up for this "service". There was no email confirming the service or anything. This is the last time we purchase anything from Oriental Trading Company. Buyer Beware!

I ordered a Kansas City necklace that was supposed to have two items a chain and a magnet I only got one item called the company and they said it was discontinued so they were going to just give me one item and not send me the rest of my purchase and rip me off I can't have my necklace now did me no good don't buy from these people

Scam!

I too, was also charged on the Fun Rewards of 14.95. Total scam and definitely wasn't aware of it. How awful. I've asked for a refund and my account to be canceled. They can lose my credit card number too. I will not be ordering from Oriental again.
