I've really come to rely on you guys. I run a small specialty upholstery shop and need light weight and or decorative metals for my projects and you pretty much have everything. I ordered 2 "strips" of brass. One was exactly as ordered. One, the 1/4 inch thick had a curl to it that made it unsuitable for intended purpose. They were extremely helpful, fixed the issue, and credited me with the charge for the unsuitable strip. And the unsuitable strip I ordered may have been because I didn't know the correct piece to order. I will use this company in the future.

I placed my order on April 11,2024 and was told I would see it April 17,2024. My order arrived today April 22,2024. My customer is very upset with us not the material may not meet the certification that is listed because it is not what I ordered. I got the wrong material and no one will answer or return my phone calls.

A piece shipped from a 3rd party seller. Never an email regarding receipt of order, if/when shipped. Called Online Metals to track after 4 or 5 days and were not able and advised they would reach out to seller and I would get info back that day but nothing. Called again next day and same thing, no information. Received email late that day just as packaged arrived. Essentially it shipped and arrived on time but I had no idea if/when it was coming, no tracking.

I ordered a 12" x 18" piece. What showed up was a 12" x 10-5/16" piece, so I called Customer Service. The lady who took the call was fantastic. Within minutes she had taken care of the situation, and I was informed that a reorder was in process. Mistakes happen. Always will. But it's how we respond that says something, and I was impressed by how Online Metals responded. The new, correct piece showed up 2 days later.

Online Metals is the place to go. I run a small one-man job shop style business and never get into large quantity jobs. They are one of the few places that will sell a small quantity of metals and they do it with reasonable prices. Shipping is always fast, and costs are not padded.
