I ordered a 3/4" wide x 1/8" thick x 2' long SS bar with next day shipping and next day I received a 11/16" x 2' long SS round bar. They made restitution and sent me thw correct replacement bar and even let me keep the round bar, but it was sent by regular shipping, so I got it 4 days late. I appreciate that they have a great inventory, much if which is in stocks, acceptable prices, great shipping options, including free standard shipping, but don't expect accurate order shipment if you are under short time constraint.

We looked around for some time for 4130 in 5/16" thickness to be machined into aircraft parts. OnlineMetals.com had the metal we needed in stock at reasonable cost, and they shipped it rapidly. I'll be sure to check with them again next time we need some raw metal.

I received the shipment on time and without damage. It was packaged well. This was the first time that my order was fulfilled by a third party seller. Usually a seller sends a shipment notification with tracking number. Framing Technology Inc did not do that and so I used the order number with Online Metals and looked up the order on the Online Metals Web site and found the tracking information that way. Once I had that I could see that it was being shipped via FedEx and I could learn its expected delivery date and track shipment progress that way.
