The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

Everything looks legit so far. We'll see what happens. If this company is not legit I'll contact Connecticut AG and have them stopped from doing business in State
I appreciate the fact I can get the tickets but the fees are way to high. Half the original face value of the ticket in fees is rediculous. I would never have bought these but plans changed and I can now go. If it wasn't the Foo's I would never have paid this much money over face value. Don't expect me to do it again.
I got an email offering 20 dollars off my order if I completed my purchase. It did not take 20 dollars off my order.
BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. THIS IS AN ILLEGAL COMPANY WITH TERRIBLE REVIEWS ALL OVER THE INTERNET.
Even though Online City Tickets markets itself as a ticket reseller, its not clear on their website until the transaction is over and you reach out customer service requesting a confirmation regarding your tickets, that you are not actually buying tickets at all. You are just handing your money over to this company for a promise to deliver any type of tickets at a later date; and this is a TOTAL SCAM!
Also Online City Tickets is using false information to persuade people to buy tickets; How? First, by using similar domains that trick customer to believe they are actually buying tickets from the venue. In my situation I had access through your company by clicking www.paviliondallas.com and not from onlinecitytickets.com. (this bring to the confusion of customer who think that are buying tickets directly from the venue and not from a third parties website). Is not after you click tickets that it redirected me to your companys website (once again, using misleading information to trick consumers). The screen showed me a seat chart from the venue, which I used to select my tickets. By allowing me to go forward with this action, it is your responsibility as a seller to deliver the selected tickets, most important; why do you hold a money from tickets that are not even available? I believe a transaction should be processed only at the time of confirming a delivery of the tickets selected.
Your tricky policies may believe you can go forward with your illegal practices, including that if I dont get the selected tickets I will get better seats? How as a company can you possible know what is best for me? It may be good for you and for your illegal practices, but not for customers like me, that acted in goodwill to purchase tickets for a concert. Most important, how can you claim that your inventory establishes a 100% Buyer Guarantee when you cant even deliver the tickets that I chose?
The buying process was easy, which was nice. The service fee was too high, but it's all a racket, anyway. You know that going in and what can you do? They know we have to pay. I also wish they supported e-tickets, so we don't have to print them. In this day and age, you'd think that would be a given.
Quick and easy to use this website. I was very happy with the overall layout and process. In the future I would use this site again.
They had tickets I wanted- low fees compared to other sites- confirmation email was quickly followed by email with link to print tickets. Looking forward to the show! Thanks!
Site was easy to use and to select my tickets from. Purchasing tickets was an easy process. Downloading and printing out my tickets was a piece of cake.
Next time I would order earlier and shop around. I didn't know that An American in Paris was coming to Baltimore until recently, when I saw an advertisement on television for the show. I learned the story line by googling it.
The whole process was very quick and easy. Plan on using this website again for any future orders that I may have. Also plan on telling my friends about this service.
I'm a bit disappointed that the words that appeared on my statement that said "OBSTRUCTED VIEW" were not on the order page. I am not happy with this arrangement at all, I would not have bought the tickets at all id I had known ahead of time that the row I picked was an OBSTRUCTED VIEW area. Caveat Emptor.
Excellent. Can't tell you how easy that was if I could I would tell tha whole world how much I enjoyed working with you guys... is that a hundred characters
Can you mail tickets?
I would like them mailed to my po box I will not be able to print e tickets.
I am on the road traveling. I wont be home for some time I would like the tickets I purchased mailed to me please respond as if you can mail these tickets to me
Easy to find tickets and purchase! Just typed in the concert I was looking for and it look less than a minute and I was done!
Site was easy to search. Tickets were a reasonable price. Order came in as quick as I was abke to place the order. Will use again in the future.
Very informative and extremely helpful. My sales rep was on point with showing several different price ranges. We were able find what was the perfect.
The customer service person, Manny, was very nice. He was patient while I decided and repeated everything back to me. I am disappointed in the fact that they cannot tell you the seat numbers before purchase. Manny told me the section and row but was unable to give me the seat numbers other than it was unobstructed view. VERY unlikely I will use this service again. Live and learn...
I havent received my email confirmation or receipt. But I get this one first! Not a good plan! Guy on the phone, sounded like a bookie in the South Bronx, trying to hustle me on a bad bet, but was a nice guy.
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
