The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

Pretty expensive option. $90 tickets sold at $130, fine. But then another $100 in "fees" and $40 for shipping adds up real fast.
I'd use them again, but only if there were no other options.
They did NOT notify me until after the purchase that UPS might require an adult signature to deliver. Turned out not to be a problem, but it could have been a real issue.
DO NOT USE OnLineCity Tickets. I NEVER RECEIVED MY TICKETS! I purchased Tickets for myself and my 2 kids 1 week before the event. UPS could not deliver the tickets after 1 attempt and canceled 2nd attempt. Then, On Line City Tickets could not get my tickets reissued or moved to Will Call. I had to call them every day to get updates and their agents were rude, they told me that there was some "guarantee" that I would get the Tickets that did not happen and finally they will not refund my money. Money Lost, Event missed and my kids are broken hearted! I wish I could give a ZERO Star rating.
Expect the worst and you will be satisfied. Do not buy a group of tickets and expect them to be seated together. They assured me they would be, but were not. We ended up having to buy the tickets we wanted as originally requested from the box office. The box office informed us not to buy from this company. Still we are left with our original tickets from Online City Tickets... we have 28 tickets now instead of 14... so, OnlineCity Tickets offered us an $84 credit for the problem. No thanks.
We bought tickets for the Bon Jovi concert when the dates were released and paid box office prices for the worst seat in the arena. We were promised one section and got another and were placed in the last row with just the wall behind us. Called the customer service rep but they didn't help either. Some of the folks who were in adjacent seats paid 1/5 the price we paid. The ticket office guys at the arena were shocked to see the price we paid for the seats :(. .
This site is a total scam and would not recommend to anyone. I hate writing negative reviews but wanted to ensure none of you fall to the trap...
The prices are decent and the layout of seats is easily understandable. I would recommend this site for future events
Everything was clear so made the process easy and quick. Thank you. Cant wait to attend this concert.
Shipping method only gave UPS for overnight for $25. My confirmation said I would possibly get an email. And if I'm ordering on 4/22, why does it take until 5/28 to send to me for a concert on June 2. I hope to get the tickets in time.
Site was great until the end. A $20 per ticket service fee?! I paid this time... but probably wont come back with those fees.
Great way to see what your paying for in seating. Just wish they would work on there pricing cause for the average income it's hard to afford.
You charged way to much for children tickets than way stated on TV. Then there was an extra service charge of almost $10 per ticket and an email charge.
This discourages family outings due to over charging.
Recieved my email and was able to print my tickets right away. I was able to organize my search and choose the seats I wanted.
Buying the tickets was easy but upon going to the theatre we discovered that the seats and tickets were a fraud. Fortunately they had other tickets available for the show. Now I have to goand dispute the charges on my credit card, at PayPal and with the vendor.
Both consultants I worked with on the phone were very friendly, patient, and receptive to my needs. Thank you!
Not sure about this website as tickets order nit very clear as to how I will receive them. Waiting to see how this will turn out. First time using this website.
High fee and poor site. I thought for the fees there should have been a well developed site with venue specific seating verification. There was none that I was aware of. Not a very user friendly intuitive site.
Fast safe and reliable! No hassle and great selection. Looking forward to the concert. Will definitely use this service again and recommend that others do as well
Many times I have bought tickets online. By far OnlineCityTicketys has been the most expensive. You charge me $38 for two tickets that cost $50 each. This will be the last time I buy tickets from you! You charge way too much!
Clearly understood website procedure, so easy too! The follow up by OnlineCityTickets is second to none..
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
