The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

Very patient and the 10th of to detail couldn't ask for more better customer service she made sure that I understood what I was buying repeated the whole entire sing to me
I bought tickets to a concert in a destination we plan to travel to on vacation. The site sent a single confirmation that looked like spam with no identification on the mail IP. The tickets never showed up and the confirmation links were deactivated by the time I was able to locate the confirmation in the junk mail folders. Still working to get a person on the phone to help resolve and resend the tickets via email. Very challenging to get any information from their web site with no stored order history on line you're at the mercy of their 800 line
Is great to order online! Much easier & especially when you are in a hurry! I been ordering stuff online for a long time so this is my very first time ordering tickets from here & seems to go smooth!
Todo muy bien solo el sistema estuvo un pico lento por lo demas perfecto muchas gracias seguire comprando por este medio muy eficas y conveniente
Expensive tickets! I just can't believe that no matter what concert we try to attend, ALL tickets have been bought up by ticket brokers. Aren't face value tickets available any more?
Too damn expensive! Too damn expensive! Too damn expensive! Too damn expensive! Too damn expensive! Too damn expensive! Too damn expensive!
She gave me the info I needed, she gave me options and solved my concerns. Politely, everything was done in less than 10 min. Good job.
The process was easy, but the fees are a bit much. I understand the fee for emailing tickets but charging a fee of over $20 for each ticket is ridiculous. I guess it for the convenience but I think it is a bit much.
HDH shags ghastly was the time day we got a little more than wexciting ey I wgotta was wthe wlike weyewww
Very fast and easy. Would have been nice to see where seats were (only showed "sections", but rows of seats availalble did not comport with diagram of floor). BUT, caveat is that they charge $21+ EACH PLUS a $6.95 service fee on top (what the heck is the $21, then?
They are probably taking home more than the bands.
Got on line trying to buy tickets for wicked, christmas gift, musical in may, thought I was getting great seat. When they send out tickets 10 days before event. That another catch also because you don't get the tickets until 10 days before the event. You find out that what your thought you were getting isn't anything close. Learn that hard way. Paid $1,040.51 for 3 ticket $100.50 tickets. Not the location I wanted either. Will not use Online City Tickets again.
Super easy...
I do wish valet parking was offered with the tickets purchased though. Other than that... bulletproof
Waiting for electronic transfer tickets..., way too many emails are being sent regarding this ticket order... shouldnt be this complicated
Fees were high, but it was pretty easy to use.
I would defiantly look other places first next time
Awesome, experience has been awesome i look forward to a magnifecent experience. I will continue to go through you with any entertainment purchheses
I have never written a bad review before.
What a hot mess this unethical business is - I'm in terminal hold (10 min) because they are ignoring my call to rectify the fact they they never sent a confirmation of Jeff Dunham tickets that I bought 4 months ago. Never got a confirmation and now they just hung up on me. They charged me over $400 for tickets I NEVER GOT. The first time I saw the tickets was 20 minutes ago just before I called customer service. The show started over an hour ago... They SUCK! There are no words!
5 stars. This is my first experience with this site. It allowed me to reserve tickets ahead of the presale.
Thanks!
This is the worst company I have dealt with ever. As stated in prior reviews you buy tickets thinking you are dealing with a company that actually has physical custody of the tickets. Only after you have paid huge prices and receive an email which should be your tickets and is not do you realize you have been completely ripped off and lied to. The emails basically state you are now being dealt with by some sketchy 3rd party you don't have any contractual agreement with, and they are only committed to buying you the tickets you thought you bought or something comparable whatever that means.
And to add insult to injury you won't even know until the day or two before the event if they even bought you the tickets.
The only way to deal with a bunch of criminals like this is to start a petition (which I am doing) to collect enough signatures (which should not be difficult) to file a class action lawsuit. Also to file a class action consumer fraud complaint with the US District Attorney office in DC.
The more bad reviews etc this company gets will hopefully make people not use this company ever until it gets shut down.
I enjoyed the experience, it was quick and easy. Pretty cool, something new, never ordered on line before. I will definitely use again.
Processing charges are too high. Additional Service charges should be included in the advertised price, not added to the top when you go to pay for them.
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
