After several terrible experiences, I have finally learned my lesson and will no longer order from One Kings Lane. I tried for over one month to contact One Kings Lane about a return. I was told the item wasn't returnable, but I had a screen shot proving it showed it was returnable. I also asked to cancel an item immediately after placing the order, since it showed several weeks lead time for delivery. After waiting on the phone for almost 30 minutes and someone pretending to look up my order, I was told it was their new policy not to cancel items from an order. So even though the item won't ship for a few more weeks, I now have to wait for it to be delivered and pay a shipping fee to return it. Doesn't make sense and not customer friendly. I'll stick to more customer service focused companies for my online orders in the future. There are plenty of them around. Please research One Kings Lane reviews before you order. I really wish I had.
Nearly every single item I've ordered from OKL has been defective. I guess I've finally learned my lesson as the table I just got arrived with ALL of it's legs broken off and sharp jagged metal edges sticking out everywhere. I will never order from OKL again.

After posting this review I had a customer service rep contact me and resolve the issue. They contacted the manufacturer and after seeing pictures agreed the item was defective. I just wish it didn't take so long to resolve; however, the important thing was that it was. I am happy now and would consider doing business with this company again in the future based on my latest experience.

I purchased two pillows that were $155 EACH. They are down and beautiful; however, I have feathers all over my living room. For that amount of money you would hope the feathers would stay inside the pillows. Contacted customer service and the best they could do is give me a $40 credit since it was outside the return window. I won't be buying anything here going forward.
Well I wish I read all these bad reviews before I purchased from one kings lane.
They were the only company which had a round leather pillow I wanted for my sectional, so I ordered it.it took 7 weeks to be delivered! And it was a different color than what was on the website and has letters embedded into the leather on both sides of the seam. I called to complain about it and was given two options.to either keep it and get a 20 percent refund in the form of a gift card which they mail out to me(say what?)! Or, send it back and place an order for another. I begged for my refund to be put back on my card and after speaking to someone in CS she said she would try.
Three days later, I call and was told that the girl is, of course, on vacation. Unacceptable. Never order from them. Horrible Customer service. Stick to wayfair who bends over backwards to please its customers. Pics attached
Updating my review a week later to day thar even after posting this review, nobody from one kings lane even reached out to me. That goes to show how lousy this company is run. I wrote a review for houzz once and was contacted immediately by a rep. To help me resolve my issue. Okl is awful in every manner.

I wish I had done more due diligence before spending $1,812.63.
I purchased the julien tufted ottoman in "midnight" velvet for $398.
What got delivered was the ottoman in "pistachio" color.
When I called to tell them I received it in the wrong color, they refused to send me the ottoman in the correct color for the price I paid. They wanted to charge me $1194. 50 FOR THE SAME EXACT OTTOMAN. They hide behind a "policy" that they can't honor my original order because it was a "warehouse" item.
In addition, the item was packed poorly for an item that normally costs $1200.
Future buyers should beware, the rep told me that they recently instituted (as of Oct 1,2018) that you won't be able to cancel any orders - and based on other bad reviews, it's difficult to return items as well.
Save yourselves a lot of money and buy from other online retailers that are more savvy than OKL.
I'd give them zero starts if I could. I'd be surprised if these guys stay in business. I certainly won't be recommending them or purchasing from them and I advise everyone do the same!
It was very difficult to find return instructions on website. I finally called them (about 1 month after I received the item) because I could not find instructions on line - or a time limit to return the rug. I wanted to return the rug because the quality was poor (shiny, cheap looking fabric) I first was told I had to send pictures of it - and then was told after discussing that I couldn't get pictures there for a while because the rug is at my lake house, and I wouldn't be there for about a week and a half. The customer care person told me that I couldn't return it at all because it had been too long. I will not shop at one kings lane again, and I will advise people if they ask me not to shop there either. Very disappointing.

I ordered a bowl (Darryl Carter for Milling Road Tidal bowl) in June, expected delivery in July. After hearing nothing through mid August I send an email inquiry. No response. After multiple calls I finally get through and they tell me it's coming. Two more weeks go by and nothing. I call again and after spending 30 minutes on the phone I get a call back from customer service saying the bowl was "so expensive" they were shipping it fedex, which was the reason for the delay. For a company that deals in high end furniture and accessories this seemed like a strange reason for delay but I thought at least they were finally shipping it. Except the bowl never shipped. A week goes by and I call again, and am told they are waiting on the vendor. After over a month and a half of contacting them and never receiving a clear answer (or the same answer) it became evident to me that OKL would be unable to fulfill this order.
I called to cancel this order and have since spoken to multiple customer service reps and 3 "supervisors." This was weeks ago and I have still not received my credit refund and as of yesterday there is ANOTHER pending charge on my credit card from OKL for the amount of this bowl.
OKL intentionally listed this item for sale on their website though they have no ability to actually produce it (it is still listed for sale on their website). They do however, quickly accept payment and make it impossible to get a refund. Pretty sure this is the very definition of fraud. Buyer beware.
Doing renovations on two sites -ordered tens of thousands of dollars worth of product. The only skill this company has is charging the credit cards. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER COME ACROSS. From any vendor, no less a seller of high-priced items... no response to emails, unfriendly and downright condescending treatment by customer service.

I bought a couch. It arrived and it was not as described. "Pillow top"? More like foam inserts, super firm. But that wasn't the main problem. My fiancee and I both broke out in an itchy rash after sitting on it in shorts. I called to ask if maybe a previous buyer had had a pet and returned it or...? Either way, I wanted to return it. I emailed FIVE times and called and left several messages. None of it was returned. Finally on the sixth or seventh day of trying the phone number, I got an actual human. She was VERY nice and said no problem, we can accept the return. Box the couch back up tonight and Fedex will come get it tomorrow. So I did that. Lots of sweaty work getting a modular Sofa back in its boxes but I did it! Fedex came the next day and I assumed I would be getting refunded soon enough. She said they wouldn't even charge me a restocking fee since the couch was not as described and was also--- well--- ITCHY with something in the fabric. Well-- they picked it up August 14th. It is now Sept. 4 and still no refund. It has been more than the "Up to 14 business days" they said it might take to get my money back. When I check my order status online, it NOW says "final sale"! First of all, it never said that before. Second of all, they already accepted the return, and Fedex picked it up! Now I have no couch, and no money! I'm really angry and will continue to pursue this until I get my two THOUSAND dollars back.

In the past I have purchased thousands of dollars of wonderful things from OKL. My last purchase didnt work out - it was some bedding that wasnt quite the color that I saw on line. It arrived in 2 different boxes. When I went to return it, they charged me $20 TWENTY DOLLARS per box! I shop a lot on line and $9.99 is pretty standard or a site credit. I was stunned. NEVER AGAIN!
I have been trying for over two weeks to reach them to cancel part of my order. I have repeatedly emailed them through their website and using their customer service email address and have received no response. I have also called dozens of times and keep getting a recording that no one can answer my call. Can someone please tell me how to get in touch with them so I can cancel part of my order?

The past two times I've ordered, they have not held up to their estimated arrival times. (these times are usually 10+ days after your order which is plenty of time considering the competitive market.) The last order took me reaching out twice to Customer Service. I finally received that item after 20 days! This time, the customer rep acted like I was high maintenance for requesting some sort of compensation if I don't receive my order in time.
Placed an order on July 5th. It was supposed to be delivered more than a week ago. I have contacted customer service on numerous occasions, but the matter remains unresolved. Apparently their moving sale is prohibiting a response via email, and they are currently unable to answer their phones. This is definitely my last order with OKL. Let's hope the item is PERFECT. I can only imagine the return process.

I thought I bought a piece of furniture. It was supposed to be delivered right after the 4th of July. On July 20th, I called to see where my order was and the order was cancelled on July 11th.No one called, emailed or contacted me to say they were canceling the order. Horrible customer service. Why do you put items on your website that you cant sell?
They will cancel your order and not notify you that its been cancelled, even after you try to email their customer service about where your order is. Trust all the bad reviews. This company does not have it together at all.

I placed an order a seven weeks ago and it was to be delivered four weeks ago. My order never arrived. Spoke with customer service after several attempts to have someone contact me and was told there was a glitch in the system and the order was never sent to the vendor. She apologized and I was assured that the order would be fulfilled and I would receive an email confirming this. This was two weeks ago and never happened. After repeated emails back to customer service with no response I called and was told that there was no timeline for my order to be fulfilled and that someone would call me back. This has been an extremely frustrating process and I am very disappointed. I will no longer be shopping or referring people to One Kings Lane.

I order an item and cancelled it within 24 hours. I never received the item and was still charged for it. I have contacted the company for a month now by email and phone for a refund. They keep saying they are working with Finance on a refund. I have never had a company take over a month to refund me. This is hands down the worst company I have ever dealt with. I would avoid this company!

I ordered an expensive coffee table and waited the 4 weeks for the ship date. It never showed up. Of course they didnt contact me. Spent 30 minutes holding to get a person who said they would check into it. They never called me back. After two more calls, got someone who said I would have to wait another 6 weeks. It was a good price so I waited. They sent me shipping info finally but said I had to contact carrier. When I called, they couldnt find the order. After several more calls to OKL found out it was the wrong shipper and they gave me info to call another shipper. That shipper said they were supposed to get the item over 2 weeks ago but it never showed up. Called OKL once again and was told they would look into it. Get an email back with the same shipper info to contact. Just called again, and after holding for 30 minutes, have another person who is looking into it. What a total waste of time. I will never use them again. By the way, the item is even lower priced on the website now but they wouldnt match the price without me having to cancel my order and starting all over again. Horrible customer service.

I purchased two expensive lamps to go with the total remake of our family room. They pictured brown and green and what I received was brown and gray. I thought Mario in customer service, while not rude, was curt. They did offer a return but that would have left the room without lighting. Wouldn't it be nice if they pictured what you were really going to receive?...

They falsely advertise to get you in door then cancel order. Very dishonest. First of all, they are over-priced in general so always compartaively shop. Then they'll have a special and wont let you know for a month that they cant get your goods. Stay away.
