I've been a customer of Omaha for awhile and thought I'd try the bacon wrapped filet mignon. I was disappointed to find, all 4 steaks, there was a large tough tendon left in the cuts. Not sure if the butcher missed them or if that's how they are prepared. It kinda ruined my little party.

My daughters Christmas gift was not delivered on ice. It was shipped to Florida and no dry ice was in shipment and all the meat was warm. She also didn't get notification from carrier that it had been delivered. I called and sweet customer service agent got a new shipment sent out. It arrived but still no notification to me or my daughter that it had been delivered. Luckily the agent had given me an arrival date so she kept checking until she received the box, it actually arrived before the date she had given me and this time there was dry ice in the box!

I sent my request for a refund since November 24,2023, now is December 22,2023
Issues on this order still has not been resolved.
This is so frustrating because after dozens of emails back and forth with Omaha's customer service asking me for my order numbers and my emails address and many promises of refund and to this day still nothing no refund.

This is the first Thanksgiving we wanted to celebrate with something different and delicious,
I was so looking forward to receiving nice tender filet mignons, and tasty pork belly and chicken.
All at50% off! What an inducement, what I received was 4 tough tasteless and the same thing with the chicken it had an off taste to it and did not tastes like chicken.
The chewy filets, the pork was very much all fat and, filet mignon was definitely tasteless flavorless despite being wrapped in bacon. The quality of their meat is below average.
It's so sad to have to say everything on my order was not good, only the garlic bread was good.
I had to tossed out all of my food I can't serve this to my family.
Not a nice Thanksgiving dinner that's for sure.

Box said dry ice is a maybe although 4 of my 6 items were perishable. Luckily there was 1 small piece.
On the site the pic of the brisket looks already cooked; it's not. No written mention of this.
No cooking instructions (Temp? Time?) for the ribs although all the other items had them.

Every aspect of the transaction that covered my orders for shipments to my children around the USA and to us here in Florida went well. Even the timing of the delivery seemed faster than normal. All great for orders for Christmas gift packages.

The experience was good. They should have more total meat options. Quit trying to include the deserts and side dishes in their packages.

I have asked a couple of times about how to get chicken fried steak gravy. Maybe two out of five times I have ordered it and received the small cups of white gravy. One small cup is perfect for two steaks. Seems like we could get a couple of cups with each four pack of chicken fried steak. I do not mind paying for it. I would just like to know how to order it.
