Excellent last time I used it. Excellent this time
This is a scam company. They made me believe I am to pay only 23.99 but they sent a new bill after two days asking 70.99 again. I foolishly went ahead to pay, only for them to tell me my phone cannot be unlocked after waiting for more than 10 working days. Still I was the one that was chasing them, writing emails, sending reminders. They ended up saying it was my fault for providing a blacklisted phone and that they could only refund me 35 pounds. Who needs to unlock a clean phone anyway with third party cheats? And if the phone was blacklisted, why wasn't I notified that after the first payment of 23.99 but instead received a message saying "my phone has been released from the carrier, pay 70.99 to finish unlocking". This is a scam business guys, please do not patronize them.
Very good I would appreciate a quick unlock please thank you
Very good I would appreciate a quick unlock please thank you
Fraud, they will take your money, then ask you for more to unlock the phone. Stay well away! They asked for a further 47.99 on top of the £24 I had already paid. Absolutely disgusting!
Not good paid 19 pound fir the unlock to then get a bill fir a further 30 pound to release it not cool
This business offers a money back guarantee on their codes. Unfortunately they dont implement the money back guarantee. Their code supplied to me was wrong and are refusing to honor their money back guarantee. I supplied photographic proof of the code being inadequate and if they are in contact with actual vendors they would know the code the sent for my specific phone is the wrong code. Stay away from this business, false advertising! Pictures are worth a 1000 words
Looks great and tells you the charge is €23.00. Bit much but fair price for a quick service. WRONG. You will receive a email saying your order is being processed and that you will receive your unlock code in 1-24 hours. The next day you will receive a email saying your code is ready for release. Now they say that the phone is valuable and the network provider have a charge to release it. This is false as the phone is out of contract and payed for in full. I was asked to pay an additional €42.00. This was payed as my young soon was promised the phone and I thought I would get the code straight away. Not so. You will then say the process is moving on and again you will have the code between 1 and 24 hours. Then they look for a phone number and if you don't supply one it could take 10 days. Still no code. This company needs to be shut down and the people found. If anyone has information on these people please share.
It took a week to unblock my iPhone... £24 first payment, followed by a further £65... the job was done, but feel ripped off...
After paying the £23.99 including VAT to have the company send me an unlock code for the phone, it took them over the guaranteed 24 hour timeframe to contact me with my product.
In the meantime, I call O2 to inquire about some of the strange terms and conditions on the OSU website. They told that I don't need to unlock an O2 phone, and that OSU should have checked that and should have known better than to take my money.
Nevertheless, Official Sim Unlock proceeded to take my money and refused to give a refund. What's worse, when I finally got the email confirmation of delivery for the unlock code, in order to unlock it I had to pay an additional £59.99! (including 20% VAT). They had a very strange reason for this which is absolute conjecture: "Your phone is a very expensive device and is subsidised by the carrier over the length of your contract, the carrier requires this additional unlocking fee to cover their potential loss of revenue. Research on the internet will show you that our price is one of the lowest in the industry and our time scales are most certainly the fastest."
Laughable. O2 assured me that they do not lose revenue over their contracts, nor do any other carriers.
After emailing the company they gave me the usual terms and conditions jargon and didn't listen to my story.
I then spoke to the lovely people at O2 over the phone again and they assured me that unlocking phones should not be that price. Official Sim Unlock were no help over email to rectify the situation and refused to refund me.
Please do not use this company. I cannot stress this enough.
I needed my iPhone 11 unlocked. I paid a fee of £23 and then a day later got a bill to pay £257. The few 5 star reviews on this page must all be fake, its all a scam. Stay away! The fact that their website contains so many 5 star reviews and then you come here and see everyone calling it a scam clearly indicates how trustworthy they are.
Paid the £19.99 as advertised and then a day later received an email asking for another £61.59 (a further payment of £68 and £13.60 vAT). None of this is mentioned in their terms and conditions
Quick and easy to use but final fee to unlock was just too much for me
Do not use, not as advertised with additional payment after waiting a week.
When i purchased the "sim unlock code" i didn't know that i was just paying for the pre purchase and not the actual code because it was not written that you have to pay first a pre purchase order for ¥2000+($20) then they will process your order and have to pay again a ¥9000+ ($87)! So beware because they will just show you a cheap price so that you will buy there product and then leave you no choice to pay for the 2nd payment! My gosh this site you are fooling people!
AVOID. SCAM. It was recommended I took the "pre-order" option which cost £23.99. This sounded about right for a phone unlock to me from the little I know about phone unlocking! I was advised this would take 1-24 hours... this took 4 days. And was only a check to see if my phone could be unlocked They wanted a further £70 to unlock my phone! They couldn't advise me why this cost so much or how they could justify the cost of the "pre-order", in fact they ignored most of my questions in all my emails and just spouted off the same nonsense over and over which was not helpful to me at all. Horrible service. Total rip off. DO NOT USE!
Very quick and easy to get my phone unlocked no need to sit in a shop for ages
Warning. OfficialSIMUnlock.com is largely a scam.
They charged me a £23.99 upfront payment to unlock my phone, but stated 48 hrs later that I had to pay another £47 before they would release my code. That's over £60 in total.
I then asked for a refund of my initial payment of £23.99 but they refused. This is a big rip-off. Please don't waste your money.

They are advertise to $23CAD
But I got another mail today. They say you have to pay $62CAD more. So i said i don't need to unlocked my phone and refund my money but they said NO
I feel like I've been scammed. So bad site
Thats why i dont know good stars.
So far so good.
Let's see how happy I am when it is done
Yes I am very happy but not with the price it said £19 and i had to pay £70 on top off that you need to put full price on.
Answer: 100 percent a scam; morally, legally, colloquially speaking.
Answer: No I would advise you to go somewhere else. This company is a total ripoff.
Answer: You didn't realize it because officialsimunlock.com didnt want you to realize it, at least until after they reeled you in with a first "prepayment".
