The company exhibits a mixed reputation in the unlocking service sector. Positive feedback highlights the speed, reliability, and user-friendliness of their service, with many customers expressing satisfaction with the quick turnaround for unlocking phones and responsive customer support. However, significant concerns arise regarding transparency in pricing and communication, as several customers reported unexpected fees and delays, leading to frustration and distrust. Overall, while the company demonstrates strong capabilities in delivering effective services, addressing issues related to customer support and pricing clarity could enhance their reputation and customer trust.

You pay 1st payment then you are hit with another £50 to pay... 2 days to then get the code RIPPED OFF WITH PRICE
So far all god but not got our code yet...
The website draws you in on a low headline price and its by no means clear that this is an advanced deposit only, and excluding VAT. Having paid this, you are then asked for three times this amount as a further payment, making this an expensive product and well above what can be achieved elsewhere. Having said that, the service works efficiently and quickly.
These guys clearly knew what they were doing because they handle my phone faster than I thought. The best part is that I didn't lose any data as I thought I would. They did a great job.
I have no complaints because they served me well and I managed to unlock my phone in a short while. Turns out that it was not a big deal to them as it is to others. They have some great experience for the work that they do.
They get you to review BEFORE the service is completed. No wonder. They ask for another FORTY NINE POUNDS (£49) on top of the £20 already paid. A total CON JOB. Will be reporting to Trading Standards.
They will charge you to unlock your phone but will then send you another email wanting more money to unlock it and call the first few a preliminary check fee. They will not refund, they will not care. It's cheaper to go straight to your carrier to unlock. Absolutely deceitful and sneaky.
Good service overall but did not say it would cost over £70 pound to unlock. It also took longer than it said but all done eventually.
Same problem as many others reported. They take money of you for the unlock (£24) and then a day later send an email that you can finalise and want to charge another £60+ to finalise the unlock. Proper scam. I looked at the steps and description / text that showed in the process, and nothing hinted at further cost!
Scam! This was top on google advert.
Can't contact anyone or leave a legitimate review on their website so that should have said it all really. Massive scam, will ask for an initial payment of 24, then a few days later when you haven't heard anything they'll ask for double that again.
Would steer clear!
Priced at £19.99 only to then ask for another £40 to complete
Only paid so havent recieved code yet
Site very easy to use very quick and easy to use thank you
My phone broke at the worst time when I'm job hunting. My brother was kind enough to give me one of his old phones, I'm with Freedom Mobile and he was with Rogers. DESPERATE to get my phone back on so I didn't miss any job offer calls, I STUPIDLY used this service. A few days ago I paid $23. The next day I get an email saying I OWE almost $70! I checked the website and NO WHERE does it say there is a second fee. I now have NO money left (crappy times), I still can't connect my number to my phone, I paid almost $100 and STILL haven't received a code! SCAM! I'm so pissed off, I used a family members phone and I missed out on 2 calls from potential jobs (I was finally able to call my number and at least listen to voicemails). This company should be ashamed of themselves... DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY! Go into your providers store instead. If I knew I was going to use the last of my money I would have done that instead. Now it's 4 days later and this site totally F*$*#*D me!
Started out at £19 which I accepted only to find out at the end the cost went up to something over £45. The seller assures me the phone is well out of contract so I was disappointed it cost so much.
Paid initial price but then was hit with a further amount to pay... an extra £50 + I thought about not paying it and not receiving my code but thought then that the initial payment would be wasted. Reluctantly paid it and received codes. Took phone to new provider who didn't know what the codes were for! Nightmare. So service more expensive than initially led to believe and codes not used in the end!
Was charging £19:99 but then once you've paid that a few days later email came through to say in is ready to open but it's then going to cost another £27:99, cost me £47:98 to unlock iPhone, and over a week to do it.
Slower than expected and updates could have given more info
Scammers. Requesting money again. I have already payed the money. They never displayed it before. Now requesting money
Adding VAT at the checkout stage is sharp practice, you should advertise the price and stick to it

Found it very pleasant experience easy to navigate the website. The prices were shown clearly and were very reasonable. I was informed by email at each stage of the process. Also the phone was unlocked well in advance of the time-frame given. I would highly recommend Official Sim Unlock, I was very satisfied with the service. Many thanks
Found it very pleasant easy to navigate the website and also the prices were shown clearly. Very reasonably priced also.
They charge you £25 and the ask for another £45 to release the code, stay clear, the web site should be taken down
Answer: 100 percent a scam; morally, legally, colloquially speaking.
Answer: No I would advise you to go somewhere else. This company is a total ripoff.
Answer: You didn't realize it because officialsimunlock.com didnt want you to realize it, at least until after they reeled you in with a first "prepayment".
