Outstanding. Easy. Great service and products. Not the cheapest, but my time is valuable and I don't choose to spend it endlessly comparing prices, haggling with horrible customer service people after I've been on hold for 20+ minutes waiting to be helped. Zappo's is my first choice.
My local Office Depot (west side of Madison, WI) knows how to build long term relationships with their customers. Their service and products are wonderful. Good prices, too. Employees are friendly and the store manager makes sure his store delivers quality. Much appreciated!
I had great experience over here. They provide excellent service to me. They are best according to me.
Prices are competitive, but to get the best deal Office Depot likes you to jump through a few hoops for them (setting up a separate account to collect points and coupon savings). The best part is their custom shopping lists you can save to their site, large inventory, fast delivery, and good checkout procedure. In my rural area, they never achieve next day delivery. Never. But they usually get it there in two to three days, which is still good.
Still best prices in town. Telephone orders good or bad depending on operator. Sign on to the website. Pick your exact products. Had only a few screw ups with delivered items. I'll go back!

The big question is "how long"? How long do they plan to stay alive? Today I went to one of their stores and all I could buy was a Scotch Tape holder because the blade on mine went bad and I did not want to pay shipping charges from an on-line store even though the prices were half that of Office Depot.
There was a time when I spent a fortune at Office Depot, and now I can't find anything at all of "value". They gobbled up Office Max, and Reliable Office Supplies, and who knows or cares whatever other store; and still there is not a bargain to be found. Even their "bargain basement" equivalent department has nothing that was worth buying.
What a shame! But what can you say for a store that still sells software for Windows 98se, Windows 2000, and Windows XP?
When I can buy the best pens in the world directly from China (shipping included) for less than $0.10, why would I pay $1 to $5 for the same thing at Office Depot? Yes, I'll wait 2 weeks for delivery!
What they should do is get rid of all their high priced equipment and furniture and become a "Big Lots" type of discount store. Or - just sell to their corporate clients - on line.

2. Plastic floor mat for under office chair (seemed cheap quality) was about $70!
Employees are nice, but one told me they are pressured to sell the most expensive option, and they get "talked to"/penalized if they don't sell the higher priced items. I understand a business wanting to make the most profit possible, but I'm taking my business elsewhere.
I live in a fairly large city so I have plenty of places to 'compare prices' & service as far as computers & printers go. I always get good service, lots of good help, and the staff seems to have lots of knowledge about computers, which I, as somewhat of a novice, appreciate. I got great help from the staff when I wanted to buy a computer - and I've bought more than one thru Office Depot. I bought one printer there & had to return it. They took it back, no questions asked, and helped me find another one. I would recommend this store based on their good customer service.
I liked Office Depot before it started merger talks with Staples, but now I expect a new competitor to emerge over time for the new combined chain which is likely to raise prices as a monopoly at least in our market on things not sold at Costco or WalMart. I have especially enjoyed shopping the clearance items at Office Depot that let me buy items I would never have considered at their original price. Beware though of low quality gift items sold during the holidays that simply doesn't last well.
Inkfarm does a better job, i can buy same grad printing paper and ink for less cost. I can get the same brands at a lower cost, over priced.
They deliver things on time, their products are as promised, and I've never had to return anything. They are a great company to do online business with.
