I get my bulk paper computer supplies here because they are the cheapest; as well as they have a great supply of school supplies at pennies on the dollar right before fall school starts.
Office Depot has been advertising for "Help Wanted" for over three years daily in my local community. Clearly they need it, the store is always busy and never more than two people working. If they need help so badly why has it taken three years to get someone hired? The ads say to me that they are either turning over very quickly or they are just phishing for people to target for ads. Get it together Office Depot!
I went there last week out of chance. Nothing has changed, though. Expensive items, good selection, but expensive.
I would only suggest using Office Depot for basic office supplies or school supplies. I would not recommend purchasing any electronics of any type and definitely not recommend purchasing office furniture. It's overpriced and cheaply made. Their office furniture is as cheap made as IKEA

Once upon a time I used them a lot, in part because they had an excellent friendly hands-on manager. This man did not promote a very rude employee with a criminal background. The crook hired a good lawyer and sued the parent company, which proceeded to fire the loyal manager and reward the crook.
Most people do not care about this sort of thing, I do.
The friendly manager made up for limited choice and high prices.
Once he was wrongfully fired I never went back.
I love coming here, there is always a great selection.
I love coming to this store on Sundays. It is a nice place to plan and prepare for the week ahead while splurging on office supplies. Yea I am a nerd.

My small business has shopped at Office Depot for years, but no more. When I discovered I couldn't access my account or place orders online with either Safari or Firefox, I call OD's technical support, and was informed that OD's website doesn't support my Macintosh OS version. So I was resigned to having to place delivery orders by phone and access my Worklife Rewards by phone. That's bad enough. But then when I placed an order by phone last week, the representative, after repeating back all the item numbers I had ordered, somehow forgot to actually order half my items! And since I couldn't get any confirmation until the order shipped, I had no way of knowing that half the items had not been ordered! Worse yet, they split my order, so when I received shipping confirmation for some items, I had no way of knowing the others had not even been ordered! This is just not worth the hassle! Since OD clearly doesn't care about my business, I'll just have to take it elsewhere.
I love this place, keeps my orders in check and seriously helps me out with office supplies.
