The overall reputation of OfferUp is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from poor customer service and account management issues. Users frequently report abrupt account deactivations without clear explanations, along with challenges in resolving disputes and obtaining refunds. Additionally, many customers express frustration with the app's glitches and the prevalence of fraudulent listings. While some users have had positive experiences with transactions, these are overshadowed by the negative sentiments surrounding the platform's reliability and support. The need for improved communication and user-friendly processes is evident to enhance overall customer experience.

Worst selling app out there. LetGo was awesome because you could renew ads but when they merged, the fools kept crappy Offerup and ditched Letgo?! Bad move. All my ads are stale now. I lost over 100 listings that suddenly just went bye bye when they disabled Letgo. Zero stars No one I know uses offerup, and ALL my sales came from Letgo!
I desperately need to get rid of stuff. I found Letgo and loved it! I got rid of lots of stuff. Since Letgo became part of OfferUp, I have not received any hits on my stuff and the whole thing just seems sketchy. I'm so mad!
Find another app to sell your stuff. Letgo was awesome, why did combine with offer up. Please comeback Letgo or create anther app.
I sell item for $10 and offerup offers $4.99 to speed it up, very frustrating, and ridiculous. The phone dosn"t ring.
Stay away from this app
I have contacted, numerous times, OfferUp customer service but haven't been contacted back in over a year. If you are going to buy up the competition (letgo) then you should do something to improve it.
Absolutely useless. Worthless. Dishonest. They sent Letgo users a pic of a new app with both Offer Up and Letgo names on the new app. Problem is, once you downloaded it, the OfferUp name and color was the only app. Any sign of Letgo disappeared. It was a con, a LIE to get Letgo users to download the OfferUp app. ALL signs of Letgo disappeared forever. Despicable and vile tactics. Very sleazy. Its nothing but the same, useless, garbage app it always was. They DIDNT merge with Letgo... they bought them out. Nothing transfered over, no reviews, no Letgo adds transfered over. Con artists. Liars. Rotten. A great app is gone and the lousy sleazy one stays. After 2 or 3 ads, the rest of the ads are 6 months, 8 months, a year old. 80% of their ads are expired LONG ago. They dont care about people selling things, they want you to order things from companies. God knows if any of them are legit. Its back to Craigslist and Marketplace for me. Goodbye Letgo, it was nice while it lasted.
I have been using LetGo for quite some time. Loved it. The few times I used Offer Up it was a horrible experience this is why I never used it again, I am so upset Letgo is no longer available. Offer up has so many scammers - worse than Craigslist - you cannot block people without filling out a report - which I dont think means anything just a waste of time - wish we had more control like on letgo. Being able to delete your posts - and blocking these horrible scammers - I cannot believe it, I get no less than 10 a day on my page alone, because I keep having to delete my posts and start over only to get hit by another one. Also Offer up has cheapos everyone offers 70% less of what you post for - no shows 100% of the time - no one hardly shows up to buy. Out of 10 hits 1 person might buy. All the ones I get just opened an account. Scammers 100%. Bring Let Go back - get rid of Offer up.
I AM APPAULED!
SHAMEFUL OFFERUP would allow not only weaponry but a bullet thats only purpose is to go thru polive/military vests!
Someone help with stopping this sale!
I have been on BOTH Letgo and Offerup for about 2 yrs now. I have only sold 1 item (out of about 30 decent brand NEW items, not priced high). I had over 40 sales from Letgo (out of a 100 listings). Letgo platform was wayyyy better and drew in a better crowd... Offerup also has ALOTTTT of scammers! Constantly getting messages (mainly as soon as I post a new listing) they aren't interested in my items, but they act like it and try to get my personal information, like my cell phone number. Sooo very upset and disappointed that Letgo is now gone. I even had sold a diamond ring from there before...
I've bought quite a few items and sold once or twice through offerup. It was easy meeting in person. Seems like now a search only brings up mostly items that are miles away, shipping only, posts that are years old and lots of ads. This new offerup sucks... J
Just moments after I had installed it I had people trying to sell me a Silverado for $1,200 the truck is easily worth ******* to $15,000 come to find out these people don't even have a truck so this app it's full of frogs and scammers protect yourself protect your money stay away from this app
I discontinued using OfferUp a few years ago as there was so much fraud on the site. There was never an issue with Letgo. The letgo app and site was user friendly. Now that the two have merged, its just like the original OfferUp but worse. In addition, there are so many duplications of items for sale. Extremely disappointed and not sure I will even use it.
My account was removed after my account was hacked. I did not catch it. My account was hacked years ago, I did catch that one because someone put a car for sale and I had many inquiries. I have explained but they do not care I was not able to reach anyone for the car deal so had to close my account.
I have 20 items for sale with not even an offer. On Facebook marketplace my items are sold within a day or two. Same thing on Letgo. OfferUp is a waste of time... hardly any views and no offers at all. I do get lots of weirdos asking for my phone number. Not a good site at all.
Filters are useless. You still see everything you don't want to see - store advertising, posts beyond the filters (price filters, locations, items not in your description). Worthless app!
At least 90% of Interest are spammers. Letgo was not near as bad as OfferUp. I'll probably discontinued using OfferUp letgo now. Why deal with it? Marketplace baby..
1. OfferUp sells your data. I started receiving lots of scam calls after giving them my phone number for "verification". 2. OfferUp deleted DOZENS of listings that took the better part of 2 days to complete. They had a 'glitch' and made me lose out on hundreds of dollars in sales that I desperately needed during the COVID lockdown. 3. On top of that dozens of their listings on the home page are old. 4. And when you search for something you get out of area products. For instance, I needed a saw, I live in Florida, why am I getting ads for Washington and California! Do NOT waste your time on this app.
OfferUp is a bunch of crap I've tried and tried to cancel, what is going on with this so damn company if that's what it really is.
These people on my opinion tell lies after lies! Don't give the a credit card they will keep charging it!
Pretty crappy move letgo is now part of the lower than average market place for selling and buying. If your a letgo user everything is lost and now part of the crappy website called offer up save your time and aggravation and skipping this site. I've switched to Facebook market place better more reputable than this crap. Going to miss letgo
I used to love this app and literally bought everything in my home when I moved from the app. But now I'm really sick and tired of the people I have been coming in contact with on OfferUp lately. I used to deal with people who respected each other's time, but now they make offers and don't respond to follow up, they cancel offers at the last minute because they didn't read the entire description, they expect the Seller to make themselves available to their schedule, or they just don't show up to meetings. It's just people looking for cheap stuff who aren't willing to pay decent prices.
I also hate that the app allows people to post the same item several times in order to get exposure. People do this to avoid paying to promote their item. And I am sick of all the people who appear to be selling items as an individual, when really they are a business. They do the same thing and post the same items multiple times, to the point that people assume I own a shop/business. At this point, the app is just a bunch of ads.
Answer: No limit to how many items you can post. To delete the post. Just click on offers. Them there will be a mark as sold button, edit button, then next to that is a button with 3 dots. Click that. Then click archive. Done. No affiliation
