I spent the time to rughtva gift message so the receiver would know it was a New Years gift from my husband and me. There was no message on or included in the package. If I had not included my own phone number, the receiver would have not known who it was from. I checked the original purchase order and it is on there, so what happened? Also the purchaser was listed as the recipient. All wrong. My name was on the original information but never showed up.
First of all, Northline under-promised and over-delivered on the time from order to ship. This is a good thing!
The heat exchanger works... works quite well, in fact... BUT... surely you guys could have done better on that hinky, cheap-$#*! manifold. I mean, come ON... silicone? Do-it-yourself SILICONE?
For the price, you should fab a 1.75"-to-2" exhaust manifold, streamlined to reduce turbulence, and ship butt joint clamps to assemble.
I am having my welding shop fab a new piece for that. I just can't stand that sheet metal thing that comes stock.

Purchased 2 backer discs and they work good. Bought these to replace my old discs that I lost.
I ordered the Pilgrim 5 piece fireplace tool set and Black and Brass ash bucket. Both arrived in great condition. I had to put the stand together, but that took 15 minutes. I was worried that the lid wouldn't fit properly on the ash bucket, as I read other comments, but mine fits well! So far so good!
Product selection was good, just what we were looking for. Once received the grate was just as described. It should last a lifetime. Delivery was quick.
I want to complement them on the quick service and getting 95% of the items that I ordered in about a week, the items were very well packed nothing damaged this is a plus. The good thing is that the items were packed in very sturdy boxes and shredded cardboard was used and not Styrofoam which is just a problem getting rid of.
One of my items was shipped separate that I did not know of, so I purchased it again from a different source so I could complete my project. The original item came in the same day. It was not expensive but...
Found what i needed quickly and delivery was a lot faster than i expected
Ordered a variety of pipe for a wood stove installation that needed to be completed on a specific schedule because of the weather. One item was not in stock at the normal warehouse, but they called me and said it would be shipped from another warehouse and should not be delayed. However, as the deadline drew nearer, there was no tracking info that it had shipped. I contacted them the day before the deadline to get and update and later that day, the item unexpectedly arrived. All in time to meet the installation deadline.
Products arrived as ordered, on time, and customer care was wonderful. Highly recommended.

Bottom line we had trouble finding this part locally. We did a internet search and found this company to have what we needed in stock for a reasonable price. It was shipped quickly and in less time that we were told at time of purchase.
I ordered from 4 different companies for this project and in the end, the Northline order took longest to arrive at least five days past other orders arriving. I called about it and it seemed that the person was shocked to see my order hadn't been shipped yet and said she'd put in a note to have it shipped out immediately but it still held up our project waiting for it by a week or so. I would have put a rushed shipping on it if it had been my company. After I call a week or more after ordering and it still hadn't even shipped! It still took about 5 or 6 days to come so I don't think anyone was interested in making up to the customer the poor response to my order. It was a ceiling box kit and cost was $484. The part was fine and the woman on the phone was nice.

When my initial order was placed some of the parts went backorder. The projected date of resupply was 4 months in advance. Parts were delivered nearly 2 months ahead of schedule. Excellent service.
