Not sure what the problem was originally, but using PayPal took 4 attempts to place my order.
I found the parts I needed at Northline Express Online. I ordered the parts that were in stock and they were delivered to my home in a very reasonable time.
I was trying to obtain some 6" X 12" long duraBlack pipe, but it is out of stock with no ETA
3 of the 4 items I ordered, which were supposed to be delivered in 5-7 days, were apparently on backorder[?] and wouldn't arrive for 5-7 weeks.
Seemed pretty easy; great website. A couple items out of stock. Overall, great experience.
Great prices and easy to use web site. They even immediately contacted me when I mistakenly ordered an incompatible item, so I was able to correct it.

I live in upstate NY and I heat my house primarily with wood. When the cap for my chimney blew off in a windstorm, I went to Lowes and every other store to find the correct cap and could not find it. After searching online, I found my way to Northline who had the cap I needed. I ordered it and it got here very quickly and arrived just in time to keep the rain out of my chimney. After this, I will ordering from Northline again.

I really like the braided hearth rug. It blends in well with the colors in our family room. The selection of hearth rugs was great and I appreciate that there are rugs made in the United States.
Phone customer service was great. Wizard was useful but needed to talk to Customer Service because no results were presented.
Shopping was a bit slow but that was an acceptable tradeoff for the price discount

Ap was dented. That happens every now and then. Installed it trying to hide dent but got caught. Installed other one n I t dented. I will have to wait f0r a 2 or 3 story chimney. I had to to use other cap with no dent
Looking for item was easy. Ordering item was easy. Item arrived on time. Customer service was helpful (needed assembly instructions). Issue is with item packing. Item did not come with assembly instructions. Packing was shorted 8 bolts. Too many extra bolts and nuts (not listed for assembly). Extra poles not listed for assembly. Anchor stakes not adequate for all types of soil. No ties to secure doors once rolled up.
I have made three different grates for my fireplace and all ultimately failed. This grate not only was the perfect size but it is totally functional and good looking. Thank you for making a grate for GROWN UP fireplaces!
I placed an order worth well over a thousand dollars online. I was unable to find an option for the advertized free shipping and tried to call for help. But Northline's office was closed for the following 3 days. Since I needed the goods, I elected toplace the order and call back the following week. Then I was told that I had selected and was being charged almost $300 for 3 to 5 day shipping Yet the order took ten to arrive! Inadequate tracking info supplied.
That delay resulted in me having to cancel my installer and be delayed for over a month. I am still waiting to get my chimney installed. I called Northline and asked for some compensation and was simply told no. Very unsympathetic. I will not order from Norrhline ever again as it is clear there customer service policies are all about profit
