We ordered a bottle of Stove Scents "winter garland" to try in our steamer on top of our wood burning stove. We put 4 drops in the steamer before leaving the house for a few hours. Expecting to smell the scent when we returned, we were disappointed to notice no change in the smell of the house. Apparently the steamer doesn't get hot enough to release the fragrance. It didn't work for us..

Northline is fine- things were delivered fairly promptly. One thing: they should provide the installation instructions online so you can look at the piece and make sure it will work for you/you know what you're signing up for.

Please note you'll need a drill and (typically) a special drill bit to get through the masonry.

It was fairly easy to order except for the many steps to get to PayPal to pay. The "lifetime warranty" provides a very broad exception if the grate deteriorates in its use.
I had to replace a couple of sections of damaged flue pipe, Northline was able to ship promptly, and I took advantage of the free shipping option (this stuff is heavy so UPS charges would have been high).
