I have waited quite a while for my size to come back into stock but when I saw it had happened I jumped at the chance to get these for my outdoor activities. Due to being sent to the U.K. They took a little while to get here but once in the country I got updates and they were delivered on the day that I was advised they would come. I live no more than 20 miles from the wettest place in England but so far it hasn't rained! I have worn them and they fit perfectly. No doubt it will rain once I have posted this review but I am confident they will live up to the claim when it does.
I ordered a pair of pants for my wife and the measurements listed on the website didn't work out as expected.
I found Canada post delivery was too slow, but it finally made it.

The site leads you to believe that Northbound Gear will ship from Canada, and that they are a Canadian company. However, the shipping originates in China. It took three weeks plus to receive my order. Clearly this is a company in China that masquerades as a Canadian company. The material on the pants is nice, but I'm not as wild about the low cut on the pants, as I wear them to bike in the winter. I'd return them, but that would mean shipping them back to China.
Nice trousers, but expect to wait and potentially wonder where your order has gone. Pretty decent trousers (like many say they are) but be aware that they are drop shipped and you'll see your order sit with a shipping label made but not making progress for awhile...which can make you nervous. In the end, nice trousers arrived.
I purchased a pair of trousers which did not arrive and despite numerous emails to northbound gear no one reply. The tracking no does not work. The customer service is appalling. I would not recommend them to any one.

We completely understand how frustrating it is to have no response to your emails, especially when you require updates on your order. This is not the experience we wanted you to have, but we have been swamped with messages in the last couple of weeks for the same reason; there are emails that have been lost in the shuffle, but we are doing our best to respond to them now. Regarding the tracking number, sometimes it does not update until it arrived at the local post office but no worries, your order was delivered on January 9,2023, according to the tracking information.

I originally ordered 1 pair of the men's pants for $119.00. When I received my Visa bill I sent an email to you requesting a clarification regarding the amount on my Visa bill. It stated $100. And $30.00. I want to know what's the issue with clarifying what I spent and why these 2 different price entries. These two prices do not reflect what I ordered. I requested clarification and still have not received it. This certainly deters me from formulation any further purchases. I want an explanation please.
Very nice pants. I had to return and exchange for a larger waist since the legs are too thigh for my bidy. Anxious to wear the pants for my outdoor winter activities.
I have found Northbound Gear a great place to shop. As I'm living in Ireland I was a little nervous about the sizes and wondered whether the parcel would arrive.
Size was perfect and delivery took a few weeks as I expected but I wasn't charged anything extra from customs.

Described above...I must say though.THIS part is annoying.
I have short legs and was happy to get the pants with a 28 inch inseam. They fit perfectly and they are warm. I have been wearing them for several weeks now and find them warm and comfortable. I am not a big fan of the bright orange zippers though.
Haven't seen the items(pants) yet. I had them shipped to another address that I don't live at. They are wrapped and waiting for Christmas to be opened.
Just received my new pants. Quality is great, with lots of little well thought details, e.g. the pocket zipper zips up and ens in a protective hood. Have not taken them out hiking yet. Will update my review once I do.
