I bought a condenser motor two years ago that only lasted one year. I thought it was a fluke so like an idiot I ordered another one, and guess what... it also crapped out after a year. Both parts looked new, but my OEM version lasted 15 years, exact same part number ( us motor k55hxhdd-8562). I would be willing to bet that the reason for the low prices is because they are remanufactured parts.

This company sucks
May 17, 2017

I have tried to contact this company several time and never got a reply. There is no phone number on their website and when I found one on the internet it went to some foreign country and all it is a answering service. They can't give any technical help and all they do is tell you to go to the web page and leave a message. From other reviews, it sounds like they need to be reported to the BBB.

Ordered a coleman, the then drop shipped me a totally different unit and swore it was what I ordered, I asked them to show me where the web page stated that they had the right to substitute parts.
Long story short they made me pay $300 to send it back and have never sent me a cent, I got screwed for nearly a thousand dollars.
Please please please use anyone else for your HVAC needs, these are the worst people on the internet. And the way they portray themselves as Christians, what hypocrisy.

To be fair, I purchased the wrong blower, and I asked to return it past the allowable time frame, but...
After several emails, I was informed that I could return my unit, and was given a Return Authorization. I paid to ship it back, and for several week did not hear from them. When I wrote to ask what was going on, I was informed that they didn't receive it. Tracking showed delivery at 5:45AM. Odd, since no Post Offices are open at that time, and certainly don't have anyone out making local deliveries. NAHVAC responded to this information by telling me that it couldn't have been delivered, since THEY are not open at that time. Called the PO and learned that NAHVAC comes to the PO before it opens each day to pick up their packages. After that, every inquiry I made to them was met with "We are sorry that we can't replace/return your item". Bottom line- the product was fine; that error was mine. Just don't expect honest dealings after the fact.

They sent me the wrong fan and wont return phone calls or emails. It gets better, they shut the website down... for the sabbath. So basically the church going god fearing people on fri saturday begin ripping you off on sunday thru thursday. Apparently god wanted me to freeze to death with the wrong fan they sent and apparently god also wanted me to give these criminals 160 bucks.

Rip off!
December 30, 2016

Ordered a new blower motor for my Carrier furnace and had a technician install it. The control unit on the new motor was DOA as confirmed by the technician. North American HVAC would only accept a return if I paid a 50% "restocking" fee! I have a feeling they are selling the same bad parts over and over again and screwing people with a "restocking fee". I expect the motor that I received had been bought and returned a few times and it had some scuffs on it. Bought a motor from another dealer and it worked fine.

Look them up on ebay, ID "bluestang1", they have a lot of bad feedback from people who were screwed over. You are really taking a gamble when dealing with these crooks!

I thought I was purchasing a Refrigerator door seal from General Appliance Parts on Ebay. I received a seal of the wrong dimensions. Ebay was prompt in providing a postpaid label. What really irritated me was General Appliance parts sending me an email stating how I may have misunderstood the part #, manufacturer vs aftermarket. I made the choice based on the dimensions in the description along with the manufacturer name and model # of the appliance it would fit. They also requested that I supply a packing list describing the part. This added to my chagrin as no packing list was provided in their shipment. A packing slip was provided by Ebay with their mailing label. At this point I still thought it was a mistake made by whomever prepared the shipment. Evidenced by no packing list. Ebay and PayPal have handled my problem with professional promptness. I included a letter with the item I returned stating I would accept a seal with the correct dimensions, no response. Today when I received an email from PayPal about the refund, The company was listed as Sellersburg Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. and a website with a different name, www.northamericahvac.com. There was finally a phone #, I called, it is out of service. If you run across these names while looking for parts, be wary!
Who are these people? Sounds like a maze puzzle to find a human.
This is the first review I've ever written.

Recently bought a coleman furnace from this place,

Added to the cart on there site, figured shipping cost, went threw checkout and paid for it. Later in the same day I received a email from them saying there was a mistake and it was going to be $180 more hmm. The person said its heavy has to be shipped freight, checkout showed shipping cost when I went threw the checkout the first time. So I paid the extra 180 with a credit card figuring is was a true mistake. Few days later I get a email that said my order has shipped and had a tracking link. Tracking link did nothing kept taking me back to the same page I was already on. I sent them a message threw their online chat saying the tracking link did nothing, the chat was offline and it said message sent offline message. The next day a shipping company called and said they had a delivery for me and would deliver the next day. The next day the furnace showed up. Physically the furnace looks the same but is not the coleman pictured. Went to site again and off course chat is offline and it sent a offline message. Still havent got a response from them and online chat is still offline.

Who runs a business that has no contact number. After doing more searching online come to find out they dont warranty anything they sell, they tell you you have to go threw the manufacturer.

Defrost board arrived in a non-protected bag without sensor cables and no installation instructions. Seller said return for full credit minus my shipping costs (unfair but I complied). Fortunately I had tracking information and PayPal because northamericahvac never acknowledged or responded to my requests for credit. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. They may have lowest prices, but you never get what you ordered or return service.

They sent the wrong part. I printed return label but it shipped back ONLY when I paid shipping costs. I wrote them asking them to credit my shipping charges to my NEXT order. Thinking that was fair. They refused. I called Amazon customer service and they were great. Amazon credited my account the shipping. Lesson learned. I will buy ELSEWHERE, next order even pay more if need be. Lesson 2. Buy on line ALWAYS on Amazon NEVER the vendor website. If the vendor is a crook Amazon will take care of it.

First overcharged for shipping. Was sent a 230v 1/4 hp condenser motor. When I ordered a 115v 1/3 hp indoor blower motor. The motor that arrived off a slow boat from China lol it is frozen solid shafts will not turn at all. Tried to call their service department and it just rings and rings no answering machine to take a message for a call back. Once again I called a supply house in my home town and found the part for 96.00 dollars this online outfit charged 119.00+ 45.00 for snail shipping. Not pleased at all luckily paid through pay pal and plan on getting my money back and will throw this piece of $#*! in the garbage.

Made two orders with this company in the same day. First order I paid for 2-day shipping. The second order I just choose normal mail. All the paperwork was correct. The problem was they sent the second order 2-day and not the first as they were supposed to. After brief contact with them by email, as you can't phone them, they stopped corresponding and won't reply to any of my emails. I would not buy from them again and I discourage anyone else from doing so. If you run into a problem with your order it is likely they won't help.

Warrany
May 30, 2016

They don't warranty any parts they sell here. Do NOT order anything from these scam artist. I am a licensed HVAC tech please see the email below.

Hello,

Thank you for your message!

I do apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. We are not obligated to provide a warranty through our company and as explained in my previous message, the parts are offered at a low price point that does not allow for a warranty. The part you were shipped was of the Fasco brand, you would need to contact Fasco. Often a manufacture will request an invoice from a qualified technician proving proper installation as well as an invoice of sale, which we would be happy to provide.

Please let me know if you have any further questions. Thank you!

Best Regards,
Sarah
North America Distribution

And this one

Hello,
Thank you for your email! We apologize, but we offer no warranties with any of our products. Our suppliers will honor warranties only when parts are installed by a Licensed HVAC Technicians employed by a reputable HVAC Contractor. Great pricing is one of the advantages of online purchasing, thats most like why youre here. The same parts purchased through a HVAC Contractor cost as much as three or four times what you can find online. Those higher HVAC Contractor part prices have the warranties built into them. When you purchase the part online for a fraction of the cost and when a qualified HVAC Tech is not installing the part then the warranty options are simply not available.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance!

Please respond to this email rather than starting a new one, this will allow me to help you more quickly. We appreciate your business!
Thank you,
Sharissa

Trying to get any questions answered by an intelligent person is impossible. The girl on the chat & email (same chick) can't answer questions and then gets so offended when I tried to explain it to her that she cut me off and REFUSED to answer ANY of my questions. WORST human being. It was the only game in town for my part so I had to order it blind. Turns out to be the right part, temporarily, but it fails on me after 8 months. If I even attempt to get them to honor their part, I'm sure I'll be stonewalled again. Lousy parts, lousy customer service, (and appears to be a one man operation), sloppy, and their shipping costs are too high. Total RIPOFF. I'd rather pay an extra $100 to get an HVAC guy to get the right part 2 miles from my house (they only sell to certified HVAC, sadly). At least I'm not desperately broke like I was last year and had to put the part in myself.

I purchased a gas valve from North America HVAC on 11/15/15, via Amazon.com. A Honeywell valve is pictured clearly in this listing. A White-Rodgers valve was sent instead. Since a little old lady was without heat, I installed it rather than quibble over the manufacturer. This gas valve was installed on my mom's furnace Thanksgiving night, 11/24/15. By the way, I'm a graduate of our local technical college's HVAC/Refrigeration program. North America HVAC pulled the "licensed technician" stuff with me too. On 3/3/16, this gas valve ceased to function. After contacting North America HVAC, I was told that the 90 day return window had passed, and there was nothing they would be willing to do. Now there's a little old lady on a fixed income who doesn't have any heat, thanks to this unscrupulous bunch known as North America HVAC. Thankfully, Amazon customer service is making things right. Thanks, Amazon! And KISS MY GRITS to North America HVAC. You people at North America HVAC should be ashamed of yourselves masquerading as a reputable vendor, when you obviously wouldn't know an industry standard if it smacked you upside the head. Take it from me (and the countless other folks who've posted here) and go somewhere else and avoid the grief. 2 satisfied customers out of all these reviews... the odds aren't in your favor.

Worst service ever
February 11, 2016

I ordered new blower motor for my fireplace. It took two weeks to arrive. When it finally arrived, it was very damaged and could not be installed. I asked for R. M. A. To return the motor for exchange and this is where it all goes to pot. According to the a- hole known as Mike, In order to receive R. M. A. I must first answer a half a dozen questions so he can file a claim with freight carrier (USPS) for damages. Also insisted I take pictures of box and blower for his claim. I answered all his questions But told A-hole Mike to take his own pictures when he received the (poorly packaged / damaged) blower back. Next day A-hole Mike writes back they can not accept return without pictures first. (Now two weeks without blower for fireplace) There is nothing in return policy regarding taking pictures of damage to satisfy there insurance claim, NOT MY PROBLEM! But whatcha ya gonna do? So I send A-hole Mike his damn pictures. Next day. Writes that his boss authorizes a discount /refund of $25 if I keep part and fix prior to install. I said no, exchange part. They took back part, but without notice, cancelled order. Did not know this until I received credit notice #>%%$^%&(*. 3.5 weeks of wasted time. There is no phone for customer service for this ragbag company and now I know why! STAY AWAY! Worst internet company ever. Any one that gives this company 5- stars is a moron, sorry.

Bad customer service
January 28, 2016

Ordered simple part (pressure switch). Their paperwork shows they shipped exactly what was ordered. But, they DIDN'T ship what their own paperwork indicated. They shipped an entirely different part that will not fit! Then they won't issue a refund of costs!

Would not recommend them to anyone!

I purchased a ruud furnace control board replacement from this company. I installed it and it worked great for 25 days. One of the relays went bad that controls the gas valve. I paid $150.74 for this board. It didn't even last a month. No one answers the phone when you call for customer service. I would say it doesn't exist. Terribly disappointed and I will never buy from this company again.
