Sell dude parts, won't honor
June 26, 2021

Bought a part from them, and it was a bad part. Paid a licensed appliance repair person so I would have a valid warranty. Part was defective. Contacted this company and they refused to send a replacement nor assist in any way. If they don't warranty, it would be more of a pain to me but they just refused all help and would no longer respond.

They even sell on Amazon, unload their junk, then stop. Avoid!

North American sent me a $1300 brick and refused any warranty support at all. They only warranty if you can prove it was installed by a "service company" and only then if you uninstall the furnace, package it up, and ship it back to them. If you do all that the warranty is 50 % at most. They are a horrible company! Do not buy from them. Also the quality of the Reznor product was very poor including unfastened parts left loose in the combustion chamber. They also said I had to contact Reznor directly but they only support resellers.

Gas valve for furnace.
February 22, 2021

Paid for 2 day delivery because I'm using auxiliary heat for now. It is day 6 and still no valve. I will update this post later if I ever receive the valve. It cost $37.00 for the 2 day delivery. It showed being shipped immediately but that was BS. Will update this post later.

I purchased two after market 240V > 24V transformers for my AC system from northamericahvac.com. The first one I installed lasted about 5 seconds then quit functioning. I installed the second one and it quit working after about 5 minutes. They were both installed correctly. I then purchased an OEM transformer and have had no further problem so caveat emptor.

Generous Response
February 13, 2021

After trying to find the right part online myself, I decided to contact northamericahvac.com via e-mail to help me obtain a replacement gas valve for my water heater. They responded with a new manufacturer part number even though they did not carry the part and would not be getting any order from me. I immediately located the part for purchase elsewhere. I certainly appreciate that they took the time to help me.

This company sent me a non-functioning dishwasher arm and denied my return request without any explanation. I will not recommend this company to anyone by all means.

I placed an order through the companies website for a circuit board. The board took a week and a half to arrive with little to no correspondence with the company. Reached out 3-4 times requesting tracking, never did the company reply to my request. The part was received and worked great, however a week later the board was making a clicking sound. Contacted the company to advise and how to proceed (over "live chat" because the number listed doesn't let you speak with a person) and they advised that they have no responsibilty for defective parts that I would have to contact the manufacturer! So you sell people defective parts but don't back up what you sell, not good customer service at all. I suggest NOT doing business with crooks and do your research before buying.

We ordered an OEM part from North American HVAC, but received a cheap aftermarket instead, different manufacturer, part number, design, and shape. We request a refund but North American HVAC refused to own their mistake. We received a long explanation as to why some customers might want a cheat replacement part. North American HVAC also tried to justify sending a cheap aftermarket product by asking what unit model and serial number we were going to use their cheap part in. North American HVAC also claimed they double checked orders for accuracy. We sent images as proof North American HVAC was advertising one good product and we received a cheap aftermarket in its place. Either they made an honest mistake, which they did not because they did not respond honestly, or they intentionally advertise one thing and knowingly ship cheap parts in place of the OEM they advertise. We ordered one thing, received another completely different part. North American HVAC also refused to refund the cost of the part and refused to pay for return shipping. Worst customer service. Go to another seller that can be trusted!

Listen! There is a reason they don't have any google reviews. Stay away! First off, this company is on amazon and they charged me and sent an empty box (because the item wasn't in stock) so I contacted them and they told me it wasn't in stock and wouldn't be for a few weeks. So after dealing with some $#*!ty customer service they sent me a refund, I ordered another through the company and it shows up like 3 days later! A day after I left towns for this is very important to the story so keep reading. We had a guy come out to look at the ac and he ended up diagnostics and determined it was a could and not the circuit board so he replaced the coil and it was fixed. ( you should also know that no company will install a product that's isn't theirs) also important for the story. My wife sent the item back to them and weeks later we get a message from them telling us that they are only giving us 140$ back because the item was "installed"! Ummm no it wasn't because a company won't install a product that isn't theirs and I was OUT OF TOWN! They even sent us a pic of a board that wasn't ours! When I got on the chat to ask what the problem was I was connected with "Nikki" she was a complete $#*! to me as if somehow I was bothering her and yes I did call her a $#*!.

Scam company
October 12, 2020

I ordered a blower motor for my furnace from Www.northamericahvac.com in mid September 2020. I received it damaged and the shipping box damaged. The mounting arms were bent. They sent me a return label and kept the fee they charged me for shipping. They only reimbursed me the cost of the damaged motor. I ordered the motor again from this company to give them another chance. This time I received another damaged motor with tool marks on it in another damaged shipping box with one mounting arm bent. Tool marks are on a second mounting arm. The company claims it will send me a return shipping label and all of my money including shipping. I have requested every penny of my money back they have taken! Including the shipping fee from my first order. They claimed they reimbursed me shipping on my first order but that was a lie from this company. My opinion now is that this second motor was sent deliberately in the state I received it because with tool marks on it this company can by it's policy claim I attempted to install it. This way they can claim a loophole to keep my money or part of my money as a restocking fee. I have not even had Lennox remove the old motor from my furnace unit. I am still attempting to aquire a new motor. It will never be from this company again or any of this companies affiliates. Any consumer being ripped off by this company, or one of it's affiliated companies, can contact the Dept. Of Justice Consumer Protection Dept. At *******000 or the USPS Mail Fraud # at *******347. Or the Indiana Attorney General's Office at *******516. These are numbers I located. You can find this company under Dun&Bradstreet business directory and find the names of the corporate executives. The BBB in Indiana shows a rating of ( F). I have filed a complaint. There are a tremendous number of consumers falling victim to this company and affiliate companies that I was able to find. I believe it is time consumers need to start ensuring people that prey on them go to jail!

NorthAmericaHVAC sent me a confirmation that they were sending the a/c compressor I ordered but, they sent a different part. The compressor was sent via FedEx and was delivered upside down and did not work. I was told by NorthAmericaHVAC to return compressor to them. I did and was credited 50% of the sale price for the compressor.
After a lot of back and forth and being referred for supervisor review, NorthAmericaHVAC I received a letter from NorthAmericaHVAC that stated "This compressor shipped via FedEX from our vendors account, not ours. I am sorry but there is nothing else we can do." Totally unacceptable! I will let everyone I know how I was treated and stolen from by NorthAmericaHVAC

Excellent Service
September 13, 2020

Our Condenser fan went out on Labor Day. After trying a new capacitor we ordered a Condenser Fan motor from Them. Shipping said we wouldn't get it till Monday the 14 but on Friday the 11th it was in our mailbox. 30 minutes later our ac was up and running. Cannot believe all these bad reviews, we had top-notch service! Thank you!

Very bad experience
September 4, 2020

Read carefully their product description. The website leads you to believe you are receiving a direct replacement motor. You are not. You are receiving a generic type motor. Don't make my mistakes. Read the reviews and decide for yourself whether or not it is worth the risk. I wish I had taken the time to read the reviews before ordering.

Sent an empty package
August 25, 2020

We ordered a part through this company via Amazon. They sent us an EMPTY FedEx package! $300 down the drain. There is no way to contact the company and speak to a person! There is a chat feature that we were continually kicked out of. Our only saving grace is it was through Amazon and we have Ring video of the empty package being delivered and my husband opening the package on the porch. As a disabled Vet, we are limited on income and now have to wait even longer in 100+ degree weather with NO AC!

I request a fan motor, and before getting the part on the mail I got a RMA to return the part with a fee of 20 % charging fee for restocking, in other words they knew that the parts they sale are faulty.
Below it is my response to this RMA:

Why are you issuing a RME if I have not received the fan motor?
Are you crazy?
Was this a scam from the beginning?!
I will report you if that is the case
And will challenge you through PayPal
If this a honest mistake have agent "Nikki" fired from this company because it is a bad apple
Sincerely

I think is company is a great alternative for someone trying to order parts or make repairs on their own. I was told the part i needed was $850 by two trusted sources, i was getting a little worried because that did not include having anyone do the work. I took a risk and took apart my unit and diagnosed the blower motor was broken and couldnt find the part anywhere because it needed special programming. They even called me to confirm my model and serial number to ensure the motor would work correctly with my exact unit. When i found the part on N. A. HVAC they said it was a replacement for the part i needed and their price included the programming. They sent it over within 3 days (they offered 2-5 day shipping at a reasonable charge). I am very pleased with this company and it will be the first place i check for any future HVAC work i end up tackling on my own. I estimate i saved about $1200 since they were able to get the part to me for about $350 and i was able to do the repair on my own.
