I ordered 7 days ago and still no update, says it's ready to ship. Customer Service was 0 help to me. If you don't mind waiting about six months for your items, go ahead and buy from here. Otherwise, I'd just go somewhere else if I were you.
Ordered items online from Nordstrom Rack and the advertised shipping was 3-5 days. Now in my 7th day, Nordstrom Rack Customer Service Rep told me it will be another 3-5 days because they are upgrading their shipping system.
I guess Nordstrom/HauteLook with all their Harvard grad senior management never heard of running a working system in parallel with a "new and improved" system. Saw a new article of major layoffs at Nordstrom. They may have laid off the guy that new how the system worked!
I made an order on 10/11/2016, with the promise that my items would ship in 2-4 days.
I waited until 10/17/2016, taking the weekend into account, but my order status did not change.
When I contacted Customer Support, they informed me that they had been experiencing major order delays and that I could expect my item to ship on 10/21/2016 at the latest. That is a full 8 days after time of purchase. It'll take another 2-3 days for the shipment to arrive. Had I not reached out to Nordstrom Rack first, I wouldn't have even known about this development.
Needless to say, I'm extremely disappointed in how business was conducted and do think Nordstrom Rack should take measures to compensate customers who were affected by their shoddy planning. The only positive is that they were very response via Live Chat--of course, their responses were just copy-pasted excuses.
I spent weeks trying to receive three orders I placed on the same day. Half of one shipped to after 6 days of processing, the other half which I ordered at the same time I will be receiving next week and the third has yet to be shipped. I have talked to 4 different representatives each telling me different stories telling me that the 2-4 day prediction given on the site for shipping is actually 4 days for processing, 5 days to ship. But for my orders, they have been taking a 6 days or more to processes and even longer to ship. I asked if they could just cancel my third order since one of the representatives told me it was still preparing to be packed after it has passed a week. The first told me to just wait a few more days and after that, the next rep told me they were processing it and told me she did not know if they even had the item in stock and that I would receive an email it not. Wait a couple more days and the next rep tells me they do have it in stock and they have been having complications and I would still have to wait. I will never shop at nordstrom rack online again. Do yourself a favor and shop in-store. It is not worth the wait or risk.
I purchased the Kora Crossbody (Madden Girl) on the nordstromrack website and was severely disappointed when the item arrived. I had purchased it in the color "smoke" which on the website looks tan however it was brown. The color wasn't even close. I could understand if the lighting was slightly different but this color was just wrong. On top of that the item was damaged! The seam at the bottom of the bag was completely ripped. Why would they send out a damaged item? They sent out a poor quality item and I still cant get all my money back because I have to pay them so that I can return it. Never shopping on this website again.
I bought a pair of running shoes in cash but they were to small. All tags are on the shoe but without a receipt they can't even exchange them for a larger size. I've purchased at other high end stores and they'll give you store credit if you don't have the receipt. I was on hold for over 5 minutes and spoke to the manager (who didn't even give her name) and she said "NO". Very bad customer service, I won't be shopping here again.
I was online shopping with no problem and when I got to the checkout I hit 'checkout' and it immediately submitted my order. I never got to review it at all! It used the card previously on the account (which wasn't even mine) and shipped to my old address. There was never a spot to add new payment or anything it just submitted my order and apparently it happened the night before which I saw today. Called customer service and they can't even guarantee I'll get my money back! Also had a gift card which there wasn't a spot to put in the code before it submitted too. Needless to say I just spent 200$ on my boyfriends credit card and there was no way of stopping it.
Appreciate the opportunity to be able to get quality items at a net savings on many items.
I have ordered from Nordstrom Rack and been consistently impressed with both merchandise and service, as well as prices. Like Nordstrom, it is a quality operation.
So, trying to order boots from a Navy workstation, their web site was unuseable. Going through crappy customer support, I eventually got to Wendy- A supervisor who extended my order for 24 hours (supposedly). From a regular workstation, the order again bombed, the last pair is gone, and I am frustrated to the extreme. Nordstrom gave me a $15 credit due to the crappy experience yesterday - Please ask foe the additional $15 SSG DeGraffenreid discount when you order for pulling the chain of a wounded warrior. Nordstrom Rack is not competent for e-Business, or worthy of Brick and Mortar sales. Across the board, they are a screwup. Do not trust them unless you are in-to disappointment.
Just purchased a dress for my son's wedding. Loved the large selection and excellent quality of the product. Free shipping and returns made it so easy to find the perfect dress. Customer service rep was so helpful and courteous when I had questions. I will continue to be a Nordstrom customer.
I just encountered THE WORST experience with a return for Nordstromrack.com! I ordered 4 items and returned all 4 items the same day I received the items. 2 weeks go by and they finally received my return. I only knew they received the return because I tracked the return, never got an email from NR confirming return. Waited another 2 weeks because I still haven't seen a refund for my items so I contacted them and they said one of the items wasn't returned. They would need 7-10 days to check with return dept to see if it was returned so of course now that's been 3 weeks since they received the return they said they didn't get the item back and wouldn't give the refund. I filed a claim with my credit card company and got the refund but today I get this email from NR saying they would need a police report if this happens again! Unbelievable! "Please note that we may ask for a police report when this incident happens again next time." I do not appreciate being treated like a thief and will NEVER do business with them again!
They are a mean bunch. After a month of waiting for my paid in full order (including 2 phone calls enquiring on its status), I got an email out of the blue initiating a return for my order. When I called, they said the package had been returned by the shipper due to an incomplete address. When I pointed out that the problem was on their end -- my address is correct on all the emails I received from Nordstrom Rack they completely evaded the issue. Since I live in Canada and need to pay currency exchange, I lost $10 due to their mistake. When I asked for the money -- they offered me free shipping if I ordered something else - but no refund due to their mistake -- they should have done that!.
The way they handled me on the phone -- can I put you on hold while I check with my supervisor, oh, my supervisor isn't answering, can I call you back (they didn't -- they sent an email saying the supervisor says that there will be no compensation because the address was incomplete).
I'll say, the stores, absolutely yes. Online, absolutely NEVER AGAIN. Nordstrom merchandise, at a discount, with Walmart customer service. If that. Merchandise, excellent. Customer service, a total fail. Not to mention the actual site itself, which barely works, sometimes, when it feels like it. And FYI, it's not about clearing my cache or using the app, you dorks. Your site just sucks!
At one point I had to even open a BBB case, because the customer service sucked so much. Seriously? Come on guys. Fortunately a Nordstrom Rack just opened in our area. Problem solved. Always great shoe selection, in fact that's the main thing I buy from any Nordstrom Rack. Some pretty good selection on clothes too, but a little hit or miss on plus size clothing, mostly a miss.
Got some super cute Uggs at a great price, plus some great rain boots and other boots as well this winter, before our local Nordstrom Rack opened. Merchandise great, almost always, but again, and I cannot stress this enough, customer service is an absolute abomination! Fire them all and start from scratch.
Worst customer service! I ordered, they debited my credit card. I never received any email to confirm. I called they could not find my account number. Since I never received the email I could not have the transaction number. I called, and called and they are just horrible. Give yourself a favor order with another company and see all the reviews complaining about them as well.
I have ordered from this site many times and every order has had an issue. 1. They have sent me the complete wrong size of shoes. 2. Their website wouldn't redeem gift cards. 3. Their item descriptions are WRONG, which makes clothing unwearable. Because of this I had to return. I have had to reach out THREE times to get my refund. Absolutely ridiculous. How hard is it to mail a gift card for my refund? I am no longer a customer.
While shopping, I noticed a $400.00 pair of Magnanni shoes priced down to $179.97. I was in need of a new pair of dress shoes so o figured that they were a steal!
I purchased the shoes on 6/14/16 and I wore them for the first time on 6/19/16.
I realized today that the leather on toes of the shoes was absolutely shriveled off!
As anyone else would do, I returned to the store and attempted to return them.
The clerk immediately said "Nope, I can't take those back!" Without even looking at them thoroughly. She then continued to call me a liar and told me that she's "dealt with people like me before". What does that mean?
She took them to the manager and without the manager even coming out to confront me, the clerk returned saying "There's no tags, we can't return them, bye bye!"
I told her no one wears shoes with the tags on and showed her the glue from the tags is still there! She didn't bother to look and continued saying "I've seen this gimmick before, bye bye".
Me being a gentlemen, I told her I'd contact the store manager and left while her co-worker apologized to me for her incompetence.
After calling the store, the same manager declined to return the shoes! This is absurd!
I will no longer shop at the Nordstrom Rack in Troy, MI.
If you buy their stuffs online and want to return it by mail, you HAVE TO PAY FOR THE "SHIPPING FEE" even though I have my own shipping method and had paid for the label. They said their label is "SMART" so that whoever received the returned package can scan and process it properly. I have yet experience any online retailer that can't process the return/refund properly even if I did not used their prepaid returned shipping label. NORDSTROM RACK is the first and only.
I have never encountered such stuck-up snobs in my life and I grew up around a lot of rich self-entitled prickes. Both the downtown Portland and the Hillsboro locations have the worst people I've ever met. Now granted my husband and myself don't always match up to their standards of attire but we spend a fair amount of money with Nordstrom's and I think we should be treated just the same as everyone else is. The customer that are usual shoppers there of course are just as bad most of the time and in fact I told my husband just today in the store "honey someone actually was nice to me in here today!" Sad I should be amazed but that's the norm at these stores, that and lost prevention following us the whole time instead of watching actual thieves. My husband found some sucker half sucked on in the middle of a isle and when he went to hand it to an employee the employee was just annoyed said nothing took the sucker and walked off then set it on some other display shelf. REALLY?!?! Not only was it a lawsuit waiting to happen it was down right disgusting. My husband and myself like Nordstrom's and have spent good money at the rack and dept. store but I don't think anything they sell is worth all the bs. I have done nothing to these sad excuses for people nor have I given them any reason to think I'd steal and to be treated like I have is uncalled for and is just plain pathetic. Shopper Beware you may get profile by the@**holes and treated so bad that you just say FU and go about your life with such negative judgemental people left in the dust. So NORDSTROM RACK F**K OFF!

Answer: It took roughly 2 to 3 weeks to process my order. I placed a similar order with a different company and received the items by the end of the same week.
