Rude, huge delay

I placed an order online. They mentioned 5-7 business days. After 10 days it has not been shipped yet, so I used their way of costumer service which was online chat. They do not care, don't do anything, just check online what I could see and told me to be patient. After 15 days, the same!
After 20 days I send them message again. They are saying that you can cancel your order! Very very very much rude impolite
No respect for costumer!

Shipping is their No. 1 problem. Unacceptable, to order an item and have to wait an entire week for them to get around to boxing it up and ship it. Then it takes another week before its delivered to your door. Other retailers, have things delivered within 3-4 days. So, if you don't care about what you're ordering and don't mind for it to arrive someday. Thats what you'll get from Nordstrom Rack. But, I would advise anyone that there are other fine luxury retailers (neimans, saks) that see the value in you purchasing their product with your hard earned money. And, will deliver it expeditiously. Not at NR.

Terrible Service!

I've been wanting a new pair of leggings for a while and I saw a pair I loved on Nordstrom rack. I placed the order, it was 40 dollars, I used 25 with my Nordstrom card and the rest on debit. I waited a whole week for the email to tell me they shipped out. But what do I see when I check my email? I see that it says "thank you for understanding but we were unable to ship it out." So I waited a whole week for that. And to get the 25 dollars for the money I spent with my card I have to wait to get it in the mail. I am so annoyed and upset and won't be ordering from them again!

ARE YOU GUYS KIDDING? FROM THE BEGINNING THEY MESSED UP. ORDERED ITEM, SAID THEY HAD THE ITEM BUT NO THEY DID NOT. 7 DAYS LATER THEY EMAIL ME. TAKES FOREVER TO SEND THE ITEM OUT. THEN I NEVER GOT THE ITEM. SAID SHIPPED AND DELIVERED BUT NO NEVER WAS. USING ON-TRACK? SHIPPERS? THESE GUYS ARE UNORGANIZED AND DUMB. THEY NEED TO SHUT THE ONLINE ORDERING DOWN. THEY CANNOT DO ANYTHING RIGHT. SO FRUSTRATED WITH THEM. NEVER AGAIN. BUT THEY DONT GET IT. THEY HIRE REALLY DUMB PEOPLE THEY ARE NOT HELP. PERIOD.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

I recently bought a coat from a Wisconsin location but the size I needed was located in Illinois so the salesperson did a phone order for us. I bought one coat but my debit card was charged SEVEN times. Long story short it took me five days to get my checking account unfroze and out of a negative state. My bank charged me fees as other transactions occurred! This store did nothing to compensate me, they barely took responsibility or apologized! I got nothing but a run around and supervisor Lisa Esposito and Manager Megaly Mendez from the Illinois location were absolutely useless! The person who did this wasn't held accountable at all so I'm sure it wont be the last time this happens! Thank you all for Making my week a LIVING HELL!

After three separate attempts (on two days) at placing an online order I finally purchased several pairs of jeans (6) for my son as a Christmas gift. After each attempt I got to the screen "Thank You Something Wonderful Is Coming Your Way" but never received an email confirming my purchase. After the second time this happened I called Customer Service and was told there must have been a "glitch" in the system and to call back if it happened when I tried again. Finally on my third attempt I received an email confirming my order. Unfortunatel, I was not able to purchase two of the items from my initial orders as they were no longer available in the size and color that I wanted. I was disappointed but still happy with my purchase. That was until today, more than a week later, when I received an email informing me that two of the items are not available and they are not able to fulfill my order. I am more than a little disappointed with Nordstrom Rack! This will be my first and last purchase with this company.

Not a reliable website

First and last time I am buying something from Nordstrom Rack. I made an online order of an UGG Australia Boot and after a week they send me an email saying they don't have the product anymore. Really? I could have bought it somewhere else. Very disappointed. Bad experience.
Now I will have to figure out something else for my daughter's birthday gift.

The fact that Nordstrom lends their name to this "business" is so deceptive, it should be fraud. You'll receive better treatment at WalMart or KMart... seriously.
I placed an order on 11/21, spending more than I intended to get "free" shipping. When I got a notice on 11/25 that it had been shipped, cool. Our office was closed on the 26th (weekend), tracking showed that, then they redelivered Monday, the 28th. And tracking shows "delivered" for that date. So I checked around the office and it's nowhere to be found. So I start a chat, give them not only the order number but also the tracking link. She's gone a bit and asks for more time. I say sure, take all the time you need. Finally she comes back with "So, because the order was marked as delivered on the 28th, our policy is to give them until December 8th to see if the package will show up at your home. The reason for this is because we want to give enough time to deliver the package to you. If on the 8th you have not received the order. You can contact us again."
What? I say that's unacceptable, they have to know where the package is, and ask for a supervisor. I'm simultaneously starting to type feedback on their delivery process via the tracking website, which they sought.
She responds that I have to call them to talk to a supervisor, and I don't respond right away, and in less than two minutes -- literally -- she sends, "Hello customer? Are you here with me? If not, I will be forced to disconnect this chat."
So basically if you're willing to put up horrible service, rude people, and with potentially not seeing your order for more than two weeks, order away. Otherwise, avoid this like the life-sucking plague that it is.
Google "nordstromrack.com bad service" and you'll see how awful it is. Used things being sent as new, similar delivery nightmares, awful chat and customer service... why do this to yourself?

Rack Rules!

Went to the Rack on Black Friday - the store was jammed but there were no lines at checkout - they had every cashier station staffed for quick check out. The inventory was awesome - selection fabulous - deals incredible! The Rack rules!

I bought pantyhose with cash, didn't think I would need the receipt as I had bought them before.
When I opened a pair, they had a huge run. Nordstrom Rack would not even exchange them for the exact same pair without a receipt. Terrible customer service.

I placed a large online order on 11/12 and it is 11/23 and the order hasn't even left the west coast... Estimated delivery 12/1! When I called to inquire I was told that there has been construction in the warehouse which is holding things up. Why no mention of this on the site? After pressing I was given a 10% discount and told that I could shop for new items and return what I had ordered from NR when they arrive! What?!? I was directed to follow up with UPS and maybe at an additional cost they could expidite shipping. UPS informed me that part of the order was still at the NR warehouse! When I followed up with NR I was told that they don't offer expedited shipping so there was nothing they could do! Atrocious customer service! I will NEVER place an order with Nordstrom Rack again!

How do you justify selling items that you do not stand by. I purchased an expensive purse and the leather is already wearing off after 1 month. The cashier that I approached agreed that this was not ok and called over someone from that department. This employee was very rude and told me too bad! It is a discounted store and they ONLY return items that still have tags on them and have not been worn. Trust me, if I knew this purse was going to fall apart so quickly I would not have purchased it in the first place! I sent an email to cancel my online account and was told it was done but am still receiving emails. I will never purchase anything at NR again based on this experience. I am a Nordstrom card holder and am tempted to cancel that as well.

Their are physical stores that are much better than their online version. They will take any returns as well from their dept full line store, and if an item is not available, with a UPC number they can order from another store anywhere in the USA or Canada. Also every associate should have a mobile to quickly check out customers should a line form at the registers. Do not shop online as they are unable to accomodate every order (lack of stock at fulfillment center?)

Credit Card Fraud

Stores do not follow protocol to ensure the person using the card is the card owner or that the card is not stolen. Ive had fraud through this credit card multiple times for 1000s of dollars. This is a problem but what even worse is they over refunded me the fraud amount, didn't catch it till months later and proceeded to harass me day and night with threats to damage my credit if I did not pay immediately. Every call I received to collect, the person had no idea that this charge was originally from fraudulent charges. Instead they would treat me like I made those charges and talked to me like I was some bum who didn't pay his bills. I had to explain this to the reps 10 different times. Paid it asap and I will never deal with this crooked piece of $#*! unorganized company again.

Found Nordstrom Rack online was fine for finding items that I wanted at a good price. The way you go about initializing a return also works well and you get a detailed print out of your items with a refund amount and bar code for tracking your refund. However, they fail at the most important part... actually refunding your money. A return was initialized on 10/7/16 and was received at their offices on 10/18/16. On 11/15/16 I still have not received a credit to my card... even after calling and complaining! There are much better online experiences out there and they will receive my business from now on.

4th week and still no shipping. Out of country handles shipping and there is no help there. Nordstrom use to be an awesome company but the customer service is absolutely non existent. Can not cancel my order and I would be willing to bet that when or if it does arrive that the shipping returns will also be non existent.

I placed 3 different orders. Everyday the status for shipping changed - the orders never shipped. 10 days later I received an email apologizing for the delay on one order - no explanation on why or anything about the other two. Four days later I got the same email. Three days after that I called customer service. They blamed the chaos on re-organizing the warehouse before the holidays. I asked to cancel 1 of the three orders and was told "no problem". The next day I received an email that all three of the orders shipped. They sent 3 separate orders in 1 box. When they realized 1 order had been cancelled they asked UPS to return all 3 orders to them once it arrived in Pa (final destination from CA). Now I have to wait 2 weeks for them to process and another 2 weeks to re- ship the two orders I didn't cancel. Oh and they can't expedite any of this. They don't have a button o. Their computer to upgrade delivery and other moronic excuses. So order placed Oct. 7 and BILLED for and ETA to complete order Dec 1. And that ends my patronage of the Rack.

Ordered quite a few items on October 23rd. When I placed the order it said it would ship in 4-7 days. Then a few days later I look online and they changed it to 7-10 days without informing me. On October 31 I received an email saying they're having an issue processing my order when online it says my items are all ready to be shipped. And now still no word on when I will receive these items. This is the absolute worst online shopping experience I have ever had. They clearly hate their customers because I am not the only one experiencing this issue. It's not even holiday season to have this type of issue. Get it together.
