They keep sending me shoes in damaged boxes, and now they're even sending me damaged shoes. I bought a $500 pair of boots that arrived scratched and dented. They did absolutely nothing to remedy the situation besides saying that I can return it. Never buying from them again.

I have tried for days to place an order on Nordstrom's website. I click on ADD TO BAG and nothing happens. Then I call customer service to place the order, they sent a link for my credit card information and the link did not work.
I would NEVER, EVER, attempt to purchase anything from Nordstroms. They need to fix their website and train their customer service people better.
I received a dress that I ordered from Nordstrom.com and paid $78. It had a Nordstrom Rack tag on it with a severely reduced price on it, and said "compare at $78". They refused to give me a price adjustment, despite their policy being that they will match any lower price immediately upon proof. I sent them a photo of the tag, and they said they were sorry, but they couldn't mark it down, because it was labeled that way by mistake. They offered to give me "free shipping" on my next order as a consolation. This company's customer service has gone significantly downhill. I am very disappointed and will be returning the dress. They should honor their price adjustment policy.

I've order from Nordstrom's a couple of times now. Their website is very user friendly. As expected, their products are high quality and you can often find great deals on sale items. Shipping was average time. Not super fast, but also not slow. Products were as pictured and described on the website. Nordstrom has a very well known reputation, so I felt confident ordering from this website.
Ordered a pair of Adidas NMD's for sale. Received a pair of women's pants. Then they shipped me a pair of shoes in two different sizes. I had to return both and got a refund 2 months later. Did not even offer to honor my original sale. After giving Nordstrom my hard earned money for some shoes, I'm out $60 for two months and no shoes.
They do not give you your refund even after you send shoes back. I have the tracking and they have received it and even after I have called them 13 times and they keep telling me they will check into it I have heard nothing. Worst customer service ever! Look at all the complaints and do not shop here. I filed a report with the BBB and also contacted my credit card to start a dispute.
I spend THOUSANDS at Nordstoms, in fact I am what they call influencer status. (whatever). So I just shopped at the store and about a week later they lowered my credit without warning. I watch my credit usage very close. Because of this I was alerted by my credit watch and my usage jumped straight to 97.3% and dropped my credit score 25 points! I called them and they said they sent out a letter. I never got one. They said it was sent out on the 27th and that is the day they lowered my score. If the letter would have had time to get to me I would have paid off the card. The customer service is horrible. The kicker... I was closing on a house in 4 days. Not sure how this will effect my score but I was advised to seek counsel. ( I did) and start a class action lawsuit. This could be opportunity loss and I hope a my attorney does start a class action suit. This is unacceptable. FYI I have not been late on any payments either. I would also like to point out I never gave them permission to pull my credit and they gave me some dumb excuse. With that being said I checked who Nordstrom uses for credit and low and behold it is TD Bank. Why is this funny? I have a ton of money with TD and credit cards with them that never got lowered. Long story short this is unacceptible and I will NEVER spend a dime with this $#*! company again!
It happening way too often, I got promotional email and started shopping right away, selected item, placed an order and... in a few hours learn that item is not available.
Web site support MUS check the threshold BEFORE generating promotional emails.

I'm not sure if everyone knows this, but Nordstrom has the BEST customer service. I've shopped here for years for different things and occasions, and I have to say with the amount of times I've needed to contact customer service, I've rarely (never?) been disappointed.
Whether it's missing packages, returns, or out of stock items, problems were addressed with kindness and quickness which I both value and appreciate.
You would think such a big brand wouldn't really care or take it lightly when dealing with customers, but I'm never hesitant to contact customer service at Nordstrom because I know they can be very helpful!

Ordered a gift for Valentine's Day for pick up. Somehow got sent to my old address. I contacted customer service ASAP. The man said he would change after an hour on phone with him. Went to store and they only had half of order available. I wasted 2 hours for nothing!

I originally purchased an order on 12/18/2020 and paid extra money for shipping so that I can get my order in by 12/23/2020. I received an email on 12/23/2020 stating that my order was going to arrive on 12/28/2020 due to shipping delays. ( Which I completely understand with everything going on) Then on 12/28/2020 I receive an email stating that my order was cancelled. I called customer service and after being on hold for 1.5hrs (which again I did not mind because I understand that due to the pandemic there are major delays everywhere.) The representative stated " Their system does that from time to time and they do not know why" So I said ok and decided to reorder the item which they stated was on back order NOW that they cancelled my time. So I had them reorder my item and was ok with getting item when it became available as it was an item that I had been wanting for a long time and finally had the money to purchase it. My item was reordered on 12/28/2020 and they told me it would be available to on or around 01/06/2021. Today it is 01/09/2020 I went online to check my status as I had not received an email regarding my item and they stated that my item was CANCELLED AGAIN and this time there was no email sent to notify me on this. I have tried to email, and call Nordstrom about the situation and they have not responded. I did not authorize them to cancel my order and am super annoyed that they keep cancelling it. The item is not discontinued and is still showing as available on their website. I would not recommend shopping online with them again.
I am not sure what has happened to Nordstrom, their customer service is normally excellent, but their current stance has me concerned about the future of online shopping and trust. They are using a carrier with low rated reviews and there are many upset customers, myself included who are going through the same thing, this holiday season. I didn't receive this package although it said it was delivered on 12/18 and after calling and several chats, I was told that it was being investigated. They told me I would have an answer by 12/29 and was then told I had fallen through the cracks on 12/30 and it would take 3 business days for an answer on my refund. Then came an abrupt email on 12/31/2020. I wouldn't be getting a refund.
I have now reported this to the bbb and willl have to file a police report and demand proof of delivery. Of course I will never purchase from them again.
The whole thing has been distressing and I would advise choosing a more reliable company for online shopping.
I called Nordstrom and placed an order for an item my husband wanted for Christmas. I paid extra for expedited shipping. Nordstrom's representative incorrectly input my address and my item was delivered to the wrong address. Even though it was their error they are sending it to their shipping department to discuss it with FedEx. They did not offer any solution other than this is "protocol." What about customer service and doing everything to make sure the customer gets what they deserve. Apparently that is not how Nordstrom does business. Now I have to wait for them investigate - and no present for my husband, no refund, no tangible solutions offered. I am so disappointed. I will no longer purchase from them.

Answer: I have bought a fair number of designer handbags and sunglasses from Nordstrom. In all cases (depending on designer) the handbags were marked inside by the designer, where the item was made, usually a serial number and often a certificate of authenticity. This is especially true of the couture items i. E. Prada, Yves St. Laurent, etc. I have never questioned an items authenticity that I purchased from Nordstroms. They are way too big to risk their rep on fakes.
