After I placed a negative review about Newegg a Representative got in touch to try to make things right. He was very helpful and in the end I got my money back.
It still bothers me that the problem occurred in the first place but I am thankful that they made things right.
I ordered a ROG751J and out of the box the LAN card was defective. I tried to return it, but they won't allow it because I no longer have the newegg SHIPPING BOX. Not just the laptop packaging, but their shipping box had to come back to. So basically, even though they shipped me a defective product, they won't refund it. They told me to contact ASUS for support. I filed a claim with the BBB (https://sanjose.app.bbb.org/complaint/view/*******/c/y4at2r) and they said the same thing. No newegg box, no return. I had been warned by others that they had been burned by newegg when it comes to being shipped defective products. Guess I got my just deserves for not listening. I won't make the same mistake again.

I’m sorry for this situation. After reviewing this issue I see that there are notes informing us that you did not have the retail box yet nothing was left regarding the shipping box. I see that your RMA is open however I recommend to shipping everything including the retail box as the cardboard shipping box should not matter. I was surprised to discover three items of which I had just purchased from a local computer retailer, including a blu ray writer, hard disk drive and media, were all over 30% dearer than the no discount price I just paid, no shipping costs or delays, just bought over the counter. Looks a bit greedy to me, I was thinking online buying was cheaper, maybe just not here from Newegg.

My experience for the Newegg App is primarily on Kindle Fire HD 8.9. It is OK, but could use improvement. As compared with viewing the Newegg website through a browser, it seems to have caching issues, slow to browse larger lists of items on special (site versions of email deals). The notifications are nice though and I am glad to also get this app on my Android devices through the Amazon App Store instead of the G-store.
Considering this has no reviews I was a little slow to grab itconsidering the chance Amazon has a decent track record of bad apps, but since the permissions didn't seem outrageously out of line, I downloaded and was quick to check the app out to quickly delete it if it was fake. As I said, seems real enough with nothing looking out of the ordinary. Hoping others download...

Worst customer service Ever! I ordered a Server and received it a week later. Great shipping time and quick turn around. However, what I received was not what I ordered. I spoke via Online Chat with a nice lady. However she had to Elevate my level of contact due to the problem. I spoke via e-mail several times with a Customer Service Rep. She told me that I would have to contact Their Vendor who assembled the Server. I told her I ordered and paid Newegg and they should contact their vendor. Why would I have to contact Their Vendor. Basically she gave me their phone number and told me I could call them or Go Pound Sand. Next time I will go straight to HP or Hitachi Data Systems. The price certainly was not worth it!

A lot of people are saying this website is a scam, but it's really not. The reason for my 3 star is I ordered some RAM from them and it came in bubble wrap. I was a little confused about this, but put it in my PC anyways. About 3 months later it breaks, but Kingston was very nice about replacing my RAM. I'm starting to wonder if they gave me a refurbished stick of RAM because the one I got from Kingston was in a package. Overall it wasn't that big of a deal, just kind of weird.
