Newegg has tons of products and a large variety. I have ordered many parts for my computer on this site as it often has the things I am looking for. The prices are not always the best for I am willing to pay a little extra for the service and reliability.
I was very disappointed last black Friday when I tried to purchase one of Newegg deals on their eBay store, unlike most of eBay stores and other respectful websites like Amazon they refused to accept payment from my non-US based Paypal account! Despite the fact that I was shipping to a US address!. This is non-sense, so I sent a message to them regarding this issue but their extremely very slow response was negative too, stating that It's Newegg policy and they will not change it anytime soon.
I really do regret the considerable amount of time which I totally wasted on them following their account & deals on eBay.

Absolutely horrendous return policy that you'll be very unlikely to be able to use in the unfortunate case of something being wrong, in addition in an email inquiry about returns they flat out lied about whether a product was still within the return period.
SInce I can't seem to edit my review. Here is my update.
I was contacted the next day after I posted my review on another site.
I was given a time restricted opportunity window to accept the deal.
I took the deal and purchased the monitor at full price. Then was given a refund of the difference of my discounted price. I was also offered free 3 day shipping.
Overall I'm happy that they were willing to give me my replacement monitor for the price I purchased for.
But the amount time I wasted and frustration dealt with the customer service prior was terrible.
It took too much effort to deal with this return/replacement process...

I ordered a product on on 12/29/2014 from Newegg. 24 hours later I get an email that says "We regret to inform you that your order has been canceled by the market place seller." Really? It takes 24 hours to realize you can't fulfill an order from your supplier? It was now too late to get it overnighted from Amazon or anyone else and I didn't get what I needed by New Year's Eve as I needed to. You won't get my business again.

This company has a real issue with dealing with small issues. I bought a product from them on 12/29/2014 7:57:37 AM. I placed it to be over night. I was sending it to my house but I realized afterward I could not be there in time. So i contacted them (10am at this point) to change the address. I was told I could not do this since it was being processed and would have to wait. Then 4 hours later, Newegg sent the shipping info to FedEx. They didn't change the address as I requested and I called about a multitude of times about. I contacted Newegg far before the information was give to FedEX yet (Dec 29,2014 1:43 PM) the wrong info was sent when I called at 10am. Then (Dec 29,2014 2:44 PM) nearly an hour later, the package with the wrong address was picked up. Seriously, this huge issue could have been avoided if the rep I dealt with (Alex) would have placed in the request to change. I will NEVER use this company again.

A totally unbelievable and inept online credit card verification system. Once an order is placed, about a day or two later, they cancel the order because of "verification " issue. No explanation of what the issue is, and when you call (after waiting in the lengthy call queue), they say the have to send a note to the verification department, who then, magically says (in an email later in the day) that everything is now ok, (and no info was changed from the online order). They then make you go online and start the whole purchase system over again. I tried to order one item twice and the same thing happened both times, and in the end, i just gave up and ordered the part from Amazon. I wonder how much business they are loosing with their complete incompetence in dealing with credit card verification?

Pathetic company. Joined their Premier Membership for $49.99 to get the free and faster shipping. Ordered an item, and then they ship it ground shipping so instead of arriving on 12/24, it is scheduled to arrive on 12/29. Company offers no solution to the problem - saying "I am sorry" is NOT a solution to a customer service problem the company has created. Unwilling to rectify the situation in any way, shape or form.

*update: So it gets even worse - the New Egg rep issues a reply on Site Jabber to contact them about the issue. I do, following all their instructions, on 12/26/14... it is now 1/9/15 - still no response from them. I stick with my "pathetic company" comment..

I ordered a cyber monday deal on a new 40" TV through newegg via ebay.
I get the delivery notification, but there's no TV. I contact newegg and they say it says it's delivered. They close the case. I ask if they can help me resolve the issue with the shipper, no response.
I do a dispute through ebay because of the "Money Back Guarantee". They do the same thing and close the case. So here I am with no TV and both newegg and ebay not helping at all resolve the issue.
So not only did I miss out on other possible deals, but I get robbed of the money.
I go to the UPS web site for disputes and it says I should have the seller start the case for the dispute since they have all of the pertinent information. I relay this to newegg and they are unwilling to help me resolve.
Don't purchase from these guys. If anything goes wrong with shipping they will not help you with the issue. This is the worst customer service I've ever received in my life. I've been ROBBED.

I have ordered several products from Newegg.com
But, some people don't realize that shipping does depend on location of the nearest shipping center. Or the fact that Newegg is centralized on computer parts and other electronic equipment.
But, from my experience, processing can take anywhere from 12 seconds to a full day (Only when it was shipping from Asia). The shipping (Since I live not much more than 4-5 hours away from California's city of industry) only takes about 1-3 days on the free shipping (not including weekends).
And a few times I ordered some rather expensive equipment and received it overnight with the free 5-7 day shipping options, they tend to use a shipping method called "OnTrac" and I must admit it is amazing, they package the goods VERY carefully and always have it delivered on time. I have never once received a package late, in fact I have only received the packages earlier than was advertised.
I will be using Newegg for any future electronic components. Hell I even managed to convince my school to use Newegg as our new default buying center for electronics (and I got them to switch to Windows Surface Pro 2 tablets instead of iPad's :) ).
Newegg I only had to RMA with once, And it was quick and easy to send back, they shipped me a pre-paid return stamp, and walked me through the whole process and gave my email updates from my returned 400$ motherboard. The best customer support I have ever had.
The value can only be matched by Amazon in VERY FEW areas, Newegg has the ball in every field except for a few select appliances and sound systems.
If anyone has a bad review, I think it is because they didn't order an electronic device. After all, do you go to a breakfast restaurant to buy steak?

Ordered Dragon Dictate for Mac. I received Dragon Dictate for Mac Version 3 and when I tried to download to my Mac it stated it was not compatible with OS X Yosemite. I called Newegg and they stated they would not take it back or upgrade the software so I could use it on They stated i may be able to sell it to someone else, but they would not refund my money or upgrade the software.
I will never buy anything else from Newegg. Later I was able to contact Nuance who sells Dragon and they stated they would be sending me a free upgrade. Those are the Companies I will do business with in the future.

The service was horrible. Totally terrible i do not recommend to purchase things on this website. I had purchased a freedompop sumsung phone on cyber monday, i got a great deal on it, but my credit card wasnt go through. On the following day i realized, then i change another credit card to pay it. But the void my payment. I been on HOLD for 1 hour for calling customer service.
After calling, they said that they could not help me much, and ask me purchased it agin. I asked what problem was the transaction, and they told me that I included my first and middle name wrongly. I can confirm that i did not insert may name wrongly. And they already void the payment. So they cant do much for me and ask me to purchase the item again.
But the deal had increased from $130+ to $350. Is wasnt fair for me. But they do not make any effort to make any changes for me. And the most the willing to give me an offer of $300. Before cyber monday the deal was only $140, on cyber mon it self the deal wasnt much different but they added free items, now the raised the price from $140 to $300.
Please think wisely before you purchase item at this website.
Their customer service is HORRIBLE. They wont help you at all. DONT hope they will help you.

OMG, This was the worst experience in a long time online shopping. I bought a digital photo frame that came totally unusable. It flipped like an old broken tv. It took 2 months to go through the return and repair process. I finally got a replacement. It was scratched up and boxed like like it was junk. It was purchased for a gift and totally ruined the holiday. If I wanted junk I would have bought on Craigs List. I paid for something quality and New! Thats the last time I buy from NewEgg or its partners.

I purchased $800.00 worth of equipment from newegg.com and it was delivered in original boxes! The boxes were clearly marked ASUS! Good thing it didn't get swipped from my porch! Poor shipping policies! Equipment should have been delivered in a brown PLAIN box! :(

Answer: The reason why i gave a bad review was because i ordered a phone for my wife, An I-phone 5 and NewEgg.com only sent a box with the manual and a charger for the phone. I called NewEgg.com and explained to them and they stated i needed to wait while they investigate, they never got back to me so i called them again. The person i talked to put me on hold then came back to me and stated she was checking this what was going on and kept putting me on hold for a total of 45 minutes to only come back and tell me that i need to send them a picture of the box and contents. I have no clue what my wife or children did with the box now i am screwed. 219.00 down the drain. This was the first and last purchase i will make until the get this straight.
