What do you need and like when you start online shopping?

I want this to be the worst review anyone has ever read... WHY? Because consumers need to be aware of NewChic and their complete disregard for the satisfaction of their customers.
> I ordered 2 items on Feb 2 2018. I paid by Credit card and also a fee to my bank for an International transaction. I was advised the items would be shipped separately. This was OK by me as I have had split shipments from other online retailers before.
> Item 1 was a bag. And it was shipped 5th Feb. Arrived. All good.
> I then get an email from Newchic on the 21st FEBRUARY 2018 (19 DAYS AFTER I PLACED THE ORDER) advising the item was "out of stock" (though "in stock" when I ordered). The option was to "wait" or cancel. I opted for a "wait" until end of March 201 end of March 2018.

>Then 3 weeks later on March 14 2018 I get a email advising that the order has been cancelled.

> I emailed Newchic and despite the fact that they has advised "in stock", had my FULL PAYMENT in their bank account, cost ME bank fees. They claim that I had to wait 7-14 days for a refund.

The whole thing is deplorable. I wanted this dress for a special event. I took a long time to research exactly what I wanted and opted to buy from NewChic.

They ignored my FACTS presented in my emails, and kept telling me that I needed to ensure that there was stock availability when I ordered (I certainly did check!)... refused to address the time lag for refund and bank fees, and generally didn't give a $#*!... AND cancelled the order even though their website stated they would "ship when available" or refund (not cancel). And it WAS cancelled before my wait period elapsed.

ADDITIONALLY as at the date of this review NewChic are still showing the item on their website with a "in stock" and a 9-14 day delivery time. (see pic)

Let me say this. I cannot begin to imagine how many consumers are coughing up their money and NewChic is reaping a nice cash flow. Without dispatching goods, let along consumers like me who have been patient and paid up only to get nothing in return.

BEWARE OF NEWCHIC AND THEIR LESS THAN ETHICAL TACTICS TO GET SALES.

1. About the storage showed on the product page,
A. For the out-of-stock items, we have marked the words like " Expected dispatched in xxx bussiness days" on the product page.
B. For In-stock items, it is marked with the words like " In stock, dispatched in 1 business day "
They are different and you can find it under the price after you choose the size and color.

2. For the email you received about the storage,
Please be noted that the link on the email can be only opened via computer.
As it is out of stock but you are willing to wait, you need to select your preferred option by clicking on the button/link in the email you receive as soon as possible considering that this link will expire.
Otherwise, the order will be automatically canceled by our system if the order exceeded its estimated dispatch time and we will arrange you the refund.

3. For the expected time that customer receive the refund,
Once the order has been cancelled, we will issue the refund within one business day. And refund will be processed back to your original payment method. If Credit Card / Bankcard Payment methods, issuing bank processing may take 7-14 days to transit to your credit/debit card account.

Bad Product

The products are of poor quality. Sizing is the worst. I wear a L. I ordered an XL, I got a 3XL and it was too small.

It takes 3-4 weeks for delivery. Not worth the time or money

Ordered some shoes, they were the wrong size. Emailed to see if I could exchange for a smaller size and received amazing customer service from Maney.
I was helped through the whole process and had email communication regularly until my new shoes arrived.
Found this process to be really easy with the assistance of Maney and it was great dealing with the same person from start to finish.

My experience mirrors other reviews. Ordered in December - in January was sent one email that was back ordered. Called two weeks after the updated delivery date (online account showed no status change). Customer service said it was back ordered again - I specifically asked them to display changes on my online order - never happened. Same cycle two more times. Finally gave up and asked for a refund. THEY DID NOT WANT TO PROCESS REFUND WHILE I WAS ON PHONE. I finally got them to do that and my order did update. I'm still waiting to make sure refund comes through bank accounts.

My order had to split into 2. The first order arrived 2 weeks later than max delivery time. The 2nd order never arrived. I contacted customer service. They promised to send a replacement order. 3 weeks later I went to check on status of replacement, it was on back order and not shipped. I contacted customer service. Was told that the items would not be restocked. So i was forced to cancel the order. Now to see if my credit card is actually refunded for this order. Very bad service, bad communication and zero follow up. Won't order from here again.

Feel Like A Fool

Ordered 4 pairs shoes and paid with PayPal. After months received an email informing me they were unable to send my complete order. Did I want partial order? Never answered this email. One pair shoes arrived. No updates again months later. Guess I have to assume they have no intention of completing my order. As long as people keep sending them money, they'll keep their web site up and empty promises.

I bought two pairs of shoes from this company. One of the pairs of shoes I bought was perfect and fit well. The other pair I bought (my favorite pair) came defective. I wrote to the company and attached a picture of the defect, and the company very willingly and promptly refunded my money without sending the shoes back. I will most definitely do business with a company who treats their customers so well. As for the shoes, they were so cute 9 (both pairs) and they looked like the pictures.

Nicole was so helpful when I had a non delivery of part of an order. Immediate action was taken to resend a replacement, no quibble about it. She kept me in the loop as to when it was posted and expected delivery date. Brilliant help, kind and understanding and efficient. I'd has no problem with ordering from New Chic again. Actually don't order from any company that ships from China unless you are prepared to keep the item no matter what - trying to return or exchange anything is very expensive and impossible!
