The company's reputation is marked by a stark divide in customer experiences. On one hand, some clients commend the quality of specific services, particularly in web design and SEO assistance, highlighting instances of exceptional customer support. However, a significant number of reviews reveal persistent issues, including slow response times, inadequate technical support, and billing disputes, which contribute to a growing sense of frustration among long-term users. Overall, while there are positive interactions, the prevailing sentiment underscores a troubling decline in service quality and reliability, prompting many customers to seek alternatives.

I have had issue with charges on my account and also renewal. Money taken from my account without my authorization. It's nor fair and for a startup business this is not good at all. Also mons taken from my account for SSL renewal without my permission and my site is not working. After all the money taken for domain renewal and SSL. What is really going on?
Reliable service. Customer for longer than 10 years
I was a satisfied customer of Dotster.com. But once they were bought by Web.com and I was transferred to Web a couple of months ago, I have not been able to view or modify my senefest.com website. Tech could not fix my issue with not having Weebly available even though Web.com had been collecting a monthly fee for the service. I still cannot manage my website or use Weebly, yet the monthly fees were collected. Last week, our nonprofit decided to cancel our website hosting and email service subscription with Web.com. On a positive note, all the customer service reps I spoke with were pleasant and caring.
I am an ex-mydomain.com customer. I have had no end of problems trying to log into web.com. I get emailed a verification code that usually gas expired by the time I receive it. If I login using my recovery key the screen just spins forever. Not a happy user.
I am checking out the website builder with the free trial.
It has to many errors at the moment, all the time when I came here and I want create something, it is difficult to fix or takes a longer time until I get a reply.
It popup now regarding registrar privacy, but then it said, it not possible right now!
So far is very good. I hope that from here to my account management page is also good
See my previously-submitted survey, which details my complaints. The transition of Dotster -> Web.com has been a disaster.
The dashboard interface is not clear to follow or find what I need. And customer support is slow and not well trained. They seem to only work off of a keyword list of documents to send instead of being truly knowledgeable.
There is always an excuse but not a solution. My website is no running because an internal error and no one has give us a solution.
Significant price increase on domains that were previously registered on Dotster. Over an 80% price increase on certain domains is ridiculous. We'll be transferring all of our domains away.
I've been a mydomain.com for well over 10 years. I have my domain ONLY for email redirection, which vanished after the merger with web.com. Unless mail redirection is put back I won't be renewing my domains
Transfer from MyDomain, easy & painless. Hope for a smooth future
Awful experience with the chat they keep you waiting for ever you guys do need a phone number to be able to communicate with a person.
I spend more time closing "upsell" ads than actually doing what I came here to do.
Answer: We are located in Australia and trying to make contact is virtually impossible. They don't respond to emails, Calling them is an expensive international phone call, The time zone is completely different so I had to call at some ungodly hour of the morning, they are not friendly and find dealing with customers a big pain. They offer no real value and have no idea of what customer service is.
Answer: I had to ring my credit card company and get them to stop the payment
Answer: I was working with a consultant from the Small Business Development Center when I began my business. She advised me to register my LLC and then to go to Register.com to buy the domain name before anyone else could. Later on, she suggested Register when I was looking for hosting.
