Chat was totally useless. I am now trying to figure out how to make a phone appointment. A number keeps calling, leaves no message. I have hearing issues with my phone so need to make sure I am somewhere to HEAR and cannot always answer. I have used Web.com before, found it very intuitive for me but it has changed and I need some "how do I find" answers.
Customer service was great! They answered my questions and also gave me great feedback in improving my website.
The whole thing seems complicated and difficult to use. I asked if it's possible to get a refund after 6 hours and my request was ignored
I am STILL not able to get my website up. I have followed the instructions, to the letter, of both Domain,com and hostgator. This is my livelihood.
It took me 2 days to try to create and start my account initially because of system issues and not allowing payment. I've tried multiple times to get my website secure and have received emails stating it has been fixed, however after 2 weeks my website still reflects as non-secure. Last time I tried to update the website and publish it, the program crashed my entire browser.
Our organization was talked into changing to register.com by a webdeveloper. The first three years were a little high, but didn't think too much about it. When it came to renew, didn't realize that they had added on all kinds of other things too. The 5 year renewal was $700 for a domain name! Didn't realize it until recently, when we were going over accounting, our non-profit group had been a bit dormant due to COVID. The renewal occurred over a year ago. I called and tried to get it refunded, even partially, but its not "policly to provide a refund after 30 days". We had paid upfront. The extra services have been cancelled, but no refund, though we paid through 2026! STAY AWAY FROM THESE THEIVES! THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY AND ARE UNETHICAL!
I love the ease of putting together a site on here! As a master's student in communication, I have been required to try pretty much everything out there! The main thing that disappointed me on this site is that I'm new to the career world. As a student, I need to upload videos for the first time on this account. Having to have a YouTube link is very frustrating. Not every communicator utilizes YouTube from the get-go on their career.

For over 3 weeks, I have been calling in tickets to resolve an issue with eCommerce "Appointments" I am having. After 3 calls, my issue still is not resolved. Tickets: S-******* on May 9, S-******* on May 16 and today, S-******* was opened. Appointment Scheduler and the ability to Add Blocked Time to that calendar are critical to running my new charter business.
Not once has customer service solved one of my issues, the website also has a lot of issues

Answer: We are located in Australia and trying to make contact is virtually impossible. They don't respond to emails, Calling them is an expensive international phone call, The time zone is completely different so I had to call at some ungodly hour of the morning, they are not friendly and find dealing with customers a big pain. They offer no real value and have no idea of what customer service is.

Answer: I was working with a consultant from the Small Business Development Center when I began my business. She advised me to register my LLC and then to go to Register.com to buy the domain name before anyone else could. Later on, she suggested Register when I was looking for hosting.
