The company's reputation is marked by a stark divide in customer experiences. On one hand, some clients commend the quality of specific services, particularly in web design and SEO assistance, highlighting instances of exceptional customer support. However, a significant number of reviews reveal persistent issues, including slow response times, inadequate technical support, and billing disputes, which contribute to a growing sense of frustration among long-term users. Overall, while there are positive interactions, the prevailing sentiment underscores a troubling decline in service quality and reliability, prompting many customers to seek alternatives.

Excellent so far, we will experience it now as we use its services
Awful and deceptive service. Nevermind that you put a stop on my email (AND don't recover any missed emails) the second a payment doesn't go through. My card was just updated and there's a new expiry date on it. Was it necessary to stop my email from working the second that happened? Go daddy at least gives you a few days to sort things out. You treat your customers like criminals. Nevermind that you overcharge too.
Good overall, but sometimes difficult to do routine maintenance
I cant access website builder easily. Its a headache. Website option not showing in menu
At first it was a little difficult to work with but once I started working with it and getting to know how it works it was very easy to build my site. And I love how it came out.
Very difficult to navigate. I bought packages and have no idea how to access. Certainly not easy or user interface friendly like GoDaddy.
Everyone who has helped me at web.com has been excellent: patient, helpful and very nice.
The website is difficult to build and the directions confusing. The directions presuppose a lot of knowledge. The chat help only referred me to directions which I didn't understand. I'm using it now because of the effort I've put into it but a lot of strange things happen and I don't know why.
I have been repeatedly lied to and failed by web.com in regards to getting a SSL set up for my website. We are losing sales by the day and the tickets keep getting lost and pushed and never resolved
Couldn't change phone number because it was in a picture. I couldn't add e-commerce to it unless I updated an upgraded to something else. Overall terrible experience
Web.com is okay, but just after 1 day of registering my domain, I have had over 50 solicitation calls. I wish the company would keep their customer's information a bit more private.
I purchased a service for setting up email account. Even after 3 week, I can not set up email. I have contacted their technical support multiple times. Only thing they do is escalate it and create ticket.
After few days I get an email stating that it is resolved and go ahead set up email. I am sure it is not an error my end because I suppose to have a link in the page to start setting up email. The link is not there.
I have been paying for a website builder and domain name yet I do not have access to building an email or website.
Pressure to buy into Website construction was not appreciated.
So far the website I had them create costs about 2800. 5 pages and one supposedly e-commerce page to sell items. That page is pathetic. Not one proper listing. The big problem is their email is not sending me mail to my iCloud address they just said it was my problem and just about refused to update it to one that works. I had apple o the phone and they still deny any problems. Customer service is good but they don't want to help besides sending me another email that I don't get to vertmy identity. This is stupid they won't fix it. If I could get a refund and walk I would.
I truly wish that I had never heard of web.com
They are super quick to take your money, but do nothing to resolve issues. Their standard answer is "give us more time."
Its been simple and easy to use and very affordable.
First time user. Pretty user friendly. Ive got some things to figure out still with it
The platform is finicky. We have experienced a number of glitches and obstacles. I'm not a fan.
Purchasing my domain name and getting things started so far have been relatively easy. I hope setting up my website will also be the same.
Answer: We are located in Australia and trying to make contact is virtually impossible. They don't respond to emails, Calling them is an expensive international phone call, The time zone is completely different so I had to call at some ungodly hour of the morning, they are not friendly and find dealing with customers a big pain. They offer no real value and have no idea of what customer service is.
Answer: I had to ring my credit card company and get them to stop the payment
Answer: I was working with a consultant from the Small Business Development Center when I began my business. She advised me to register my LLC and then to go to Register.com to buy the domain name before anyone else could. Later on, she suggested Register when I was looking for hosting.
