I recently purchased an item that didn't work as advertised. When I contacted nCrowd's customer service, they were more than willing to resolve my issue in a timely manner, and offered me a refund on the product.
THANK YOU, nCrowd, for being a company your consumers can count on!
I had a problem with the merchant marking my unexpired voucher redeemed. I didn't want to go to this merchant anymore and you were able to rebank my $'s fora future purchase immediately. I received an answer within one day.
Thank you
I tried to make reservations at a restaurant that required one. After three tries, during their open hours, I gave up and asked nCrowd for a credit since I was not able to use the voucher. The customer service folks took care of it and credited my account quickly. I really appreciated it. Thanks, nCrowd for great customer service
I had $39 on my account (from when they were DEALFIND) - I went to use it and said it no longer was on my account! I demand my credit back as I was not informed off this at any point. They could have warned all their subscribers if they were going to do that. I sent an email and was basically told sorry but cannot do anything for me. Well - all I can SAY is Dear NCROWD - SOCIAL MEDIA IS A VERY VERY POWERFUL TOOL.
After many e-mails to nCrowd 'support', and getting only negative responses, I wrote a negative review at SiteJabber. Within the hour, I got a response from one of the managers at nCrowd asking me to provide him with my phone number so he could discuss my issues with me. By the end of the day, he had credited my account for the entire cost of the iPad keyboard. He assured me that he was going to look into the 'support' staff to see why I was given the responses I received. To say the least, I was pleasantly surprised!
I am frustrated that I had to have my $50 voucher that I purchased from ncrowd in good faith rejected by Rocco Plum Tomato because they say that ncrowd is a scam. They say that ncrowd is not paying them and is going out of business.
My total bill was $59.66 and I expected that $50 would be deducted as agreed by the $25 purchase of the voucher. That was not the case. I am out of pocket the entire amount and $18.75 was promised to be added in my ncrowd account which did not happen. The $18.75 was credited to my mastercard eventually.
What an insult! Why was the $50 not covered as per our AGGREEMENT? The entire transaction was a complete embarrassment for me at the restaurant. This should never happen. I will not be out of pocket and I have already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and allowed the media to be contacted as a first step.
DO NOT SHOP AT NCROWD AS IT IS A SCAM! The only person that helped in the past-Carl Short is not responding? I have sent emails with no response. Stay away from ncrowd... buyer beware!
You cannot trust that the voucher you buy will be honored so what is the point. Who needs this aggravation?
DO NOT USE THIS SITE! NEVER GOT THE ITEM AND NO TRACKING NUMBER! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME SHOPPING HERE
Hi, My name is Carl and I'm a manager with nCrowd. I'm so sorry for the trouble you've experienced with your recent purchase. Please email me at [email protected] with as many details as you can provide about your purchase so I may look into the matter further. Thank you!
As everyone says they are a con. I bought a massage voucher in good faith valid 3 months. Phoned to book a month before and only 9am appointments left. Nothing in small print to warn you and they refused a refund. What a joke! Waste of money. They don't give a $#*! about checking out the people the advertise deals for!

I ordered in good faith from this company on 02-26-2015, worst thing i could have done. I still havent recieved that order 3-29-2015, told me today that i have to complain to the post office after about 29-30 emails on the subject, i paid them not the post office isn't their job to track down what happen to consumers items, had a hard enough time with them now they want me to go through more mess with the post office where everyone passes the buck to me, just took my money.
My grand baby playing on the computer ordered the same item, i cancelled the order 3 hrs later, policy states cancel in 7days for refund. They sent it anyway and it didnt work. I cancelled in 3 hrs and 25 emails later i received the refund for that one. Better business bureau on monday. I will never, ever order anything on line again...
Do not order from crowd I emailed the company several times to ask where my goods were no answer luckily I had paid by PayPal and raised a claim against them strange the goods arrived 4 days later
The quality is shocking and looks nothing like the picture dreadful will never use again
I have $103 dollars on account and they will not honour it. It is the same company as Teambuy, changed the name and everyone is out money. I have been corresponding with them since December. They don't care. BEWARE! Terrible company. Go with Living Social or Groupon.
After 5 weeks, 3 emails of inquire, Ncrowd still hasn't gotten back to me on where my product order is. Tracking number isn't accurate
Buyer beware, These jokers give buying online a bad name. The worst customer service ever.
I am out $ 30 without any answers
I will never buy from these folks again. Amazon is where I'll go. These guys should be shut down
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE! Shipping times are unacceptable (2 months+) but beyond that their products are complete junk! I ordered 4 items back in early December hoping to give as Christmas gifts, a VHS/DVD conversion kit which came broken, a kids backpack which was ok but lower quality than it appeared on the site, and an infinity scarf which was so pathetic it looked like it has been hand knitted by somebody's novice grandma, and the fourth which I am still waiting for. I've complained to their customer service and their response was to delete from their site! How they have an A+ rating from the BBB is astonishing but do yourself a favour and don't go near these scam artists!
I ordered a couple of ski hats/masks in early November, as Christmas presents for my son. They STILL haven't arrived, and it's February 5,2015. When I contacted customer service, they provided me with a tracking number that provided no information. I advised them that since it was long past Christmas, I no longer needed them, and would like a full refund. They told me that they can ONLY issue a credit that I can use for future purchases. Absolutely ridiculous! I'm out of pocket for these items, and would NEVER purchase from them again. My aunt ordered the younger children in our family Christmas gifts from nCrowd as well. She was embarrassed to give the kids the gifts because they were terrible quality. Lower quality than Dollar Store products. Buyer Beware!
I purchased a phone case last April... It was delivered, broken... I returned it the next day. Even though I have a tracking number and did everything exactly as I was directed to in the return, they won't issue me a credit. I have spent a lot of time & sent many emails trying to resolve this issue but they won't give my money back. I should have kept the broken case - at least then I wouldn't be out the money I spent on postage to return it. Less
BUYER BEWARE. Do not purchase anything from this site. Goods are substandard and a waste of money. Stylish top £17, was worse than anything I could have bought from a street market. I purchased from the UK but at my own expense I have to return it to the USA and the top came from China! I am reporting them to anywhere that I can I order to stop them trading
I ordered a Samari Watch on Dec. 9th., saw that it would take 2-4 weeks to ship. After the 4 weeks and I never received my product, I emailed the company. I did get a response that they would look into it, after 4 days of not hearing from them, I emailed again. I was told I got a store Credit for the amount of the watch. No Explanation at all as to why I ever received my watch. What am I going to do with a store credit from a company that doesn't seem to ship out products after payment is made? I should have done a review before ordering anything from ncrowd.
I purchased a voucher for micro ring hair extensions, and was horrified by the experience I received.
I would assume that as a reputable company, ncrowd has some type of vetting process to ensure the deals they advertise are to a certain standard in safety and professionalism.
This was not my experience!
The woman/'company' I had the unfortunate experience of booking my deal with was highly unprofessional and was randomly working out of her flat.
When I booked the deal I was asked to attend a consultation to match the colour of my hair. On arrival to the area, I found it extremely difficult to find the premises, and after looking up and down for half an hour for a hair salon, I would later find out had been a waste of time because there was no salon! The lady was working out of her small studio flat where she actually lived, which I felt was extremely uncomfortable, unsafe and unprofessional!
Whilst looking for the salon I called the beautician several times, who said she was running late and I should wait for her outside a cafe on the high street. After I had made several annoyed phone calls to her (every time saying she would only be 5 more minutes), she eventually turned up, a few minutes short of an hour late while I had been left standing on the street corner.
Eventually, after waiting an hour, I cautiously entered her home, and after driving all the way from Battersea to Clapton, spent literally under 5 minutes with her, where I told her the colour of my hair which I could of done over the phone! A complete an utter waste of time!
When arranging a follow up appointment to actually get my hair done, she told me I would have to wait longer than expected (which was days more than we had previously discussed on the phone) meaning that I would then be getting my hair done on the day of an event I was attending (my 10 year anniversary party that was actually the purpose of me getting my hair done! Followed by a two week holiday the next day, for which I also believed I would have my hair done for!)
Of course, in her typical unprofessional and disastrous way, I received a text message only a few hours before my appointment from the beautician saying, sorry my appointment has been cancelled for personal reasons.
So There I was... now left stranded with no appointment, no time to arrange an alternative and no money to pay for something else, as I had already pre-paid for a ridiculously disastrous service!
After complaining to ncrowd, it took several extremely frustrated emails on my behalf (because you can't actually SPEAK to a real human being), and a month for me to even get my money back, and after all of that they cheekily offered me a £5 voucher as a good will gesture! That didn't even cover my petrol money to get there! Seems as though ncrowd is as bigger sham as the clients they have!
A complete scam! They bought Eversave and won't validate or refund my money on a voucher that says the amount of $20 never expires toward purchase with this merchant. All of their products appear to be overpriced crap as it is. Stay away! Do not buy or even subscribe to this fraudulent website!
Agree with everyone else here, wish i could give it zero stars. I also purchased the "stylish zip hoodie" for $21 and in hand it is not worth 21 cents! First of all it is way too small! I purchased a MEDIUM so i could layer it (i wear small and xs in everything else) and it still didn't fit. The arms are way too short and the material is super cheap. Also had strings hanging off the cuff and neckline showcasing the cheapness and poor workmanship of this product. After reading several other reviews i am surprised i actually received anything at all, but honestly I feel like I am out the $21 dollars regardless because i will NEVER wear this and i couldn't even give it as a gift.(way too embarassing!) I unsubscribed from their emails and would recommend everyone else to do the same. The pictures they show are NOT the products they sell. Total scam! Stay away!
Answer: They are still in scamming business - yes - they sell, but do not ship anything! Do not buy
Answer: No bankrupt. Just name change scam. They do this just about every year when they screw people... they just change their name. We are working on looking into getting them involved in the Federal Trade Commission here in the United States. What have you got over there? Some sort of government organisation?
Answer: Contact the Retail Ombudsman. This is a new service and you can lodge your complaint with them online. If you paid for your items by credit card you should be able to claim the monies back via your card provider. Hope this helps.
Answer: As others have suggested here, ask your credit card company for a chargeback as soon as possible. Explain to your cc company that nCrowd is now in foreclosure and isn't selling any more goods or services. Therefore, any unused store credit or vouchers are now useless. I wouldn't bother to wait for nCrowd to resume selling deals again. You could also send your cc company the information about the foreclosure (see the link below) to support your claim. Also, your cc company will likely request proof (e.g., emails with the merchants or the names of the merchants you have spoken to on the phone) that the merchants were unwilling to honor the vouchers. I was able to get a chargeback by doing the above. Perhaps you could ask PayPal for assistance if you used it to purchase the nCrowd deal. https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/ncrowd-forecloses-leaves-trail-bad-taste-albert-s-bitton
Answer: Did you use a credit card to purchase?
Answer: Hi, My name is Carl and I'm a manager with nCrowd. I'm so sorry for the trouble you've experienced with your recent purchase. Please email me at [email protected] with as many details as you can provide about your purchase so I may look into the matter further. Thank you!
Answer: When I got the shaft from this company, I complained to the Better Business Bureau, and asked my state's Attorney General for help. Then nCrowd responded quickly.
Answer: Dear Kath, NCrowd went bankrupt and were taken over (or renamed themselves) BoomStreet. Boomstreet said they would send me a refund but never did. I and a number of others posted warnings on SiteJabber about BoomStreet but these were removed due to "lack of evidence". Now BoomStreet has gone bust after taking more money from people - see BoomStreet.co.uk. This means that small creditors are at the back of the que, don't hold your breath! I would discuss this with your credit card company, that's your best hope. Best Regards, David
Answer: I wish I could tell you, all I know is do not accept a credit to their site. Maybe complain to your credit card company regarding their fraud?
Answer: They are Boomstreet now. Filed bankruptcy and changed their name. That way, they can keep all of the money they have collected from buyers and not send the merchandise. Merchants that do send merchandise on behalf of newly named Boomstreet WILL NOT GET PAID. I recommend finding Boomstreet online and sending them relentless emails demanding your money back. Don't let them keep your hard earned money! Feel free to answer back with updates. Good luck!
