Was sent the incorrect boat cover. Had to purchase the correct one, then they wouldn't honor a refund of the WRONG cover that they sent me. Absolutely abysmal business practice. Do not purchase from them.

Bought a cover/tarp for this company based on a recommendation from a fellow boater. Terrible mistake. First of all, the product advertised as a "cover" is basically a paper-thin, poorly made tarp. The grommets are easily pulled out and the seams rip and tear with minimal force, which is necessary for putting it and tying it down on a boat. Because of the impending weather, I had to go to Harbor Freight and get one of their tarps which was half the price and higher quality. When I inquired about a refund after explaining the situation, I was told no refunds for used covers and I could file a warranty claim, which is useless to me because I have no need for a cover now, especially one with similar poor quality. The customer service rep was very rude, telling me it was my fault and I should have read the return policy before buying. They informed me products can only be returned in "new or re-saleable" condition, which is ridiculous if the product is substandard in the first place. Even with returns, they charge a high restocking fee and you'll have to pay for shipping. Just an overall bad situation. I'm working with the BBB where there are similar poor reviews for this company.

BUYERS BEWARE!

September 1st. Of this year I purchased a Windstorm Marinex cover for our 2022 Princecraft Vectra 21LT pontoon boat for $699.99 using their manufacturer selector to ensure I would get the proper fit cover. (WSPONBP*******B) This 30-year company guarantee's their covers to fit! Well after finally getting the boat home out of the marina for the end of the season we got to install our new cover. Got to say the material and stitching is phenomenal! As you can see in the pics the width was right on. NOW when it comes to length that's another story. We now have 2 -3 feet of extra material on the rear and no idea what we're going to do with it! I reached out to Eevelle customer support, and this is what Customer Support Rep Ana said: You will need to submit a returns request form. You will need a cover two feet shorter. You need to be within the 30-day return /exchange time frame. An 18% restocking fee is added to all returns. Returns beyond the 30-day return window will have an 20% restocking fee. You are also responsible for shipping return fees! WHAT? I have to pay for your manufacturer selector NOT being accurate? You boast you're the " Pattern & Fit Experts "! There's something definitely wrong here. I will never deal with this company again. I put my full trust in their reputation and expertise and came out with a lousy fitting cover for $699.99. FYI, I do have 4 aluminum extendable support poles installed to help with snow load this Winter here in New York. As for the rear of the boat I have no clue what we're going to do. :(

This company did not stand behind the seven year warranty. I purchased a 26 foot boat cover and after five years all the seam stitching started to come loose and open up. The cover came with a seven year warranty which means nothing after you made the purchase. They told me they would give me $50.00 to have it repaired which good luck trying to find anyone to even look at it let alone repair it. They ended up only paying me haft the cost of the $200 dollar repair bill to have someone repair the terrible job they originally stitched. The material held up but they do not stand behind workmanship.

Bought a new top for my boat. Had timey shipping. Installed the top. Directions aren't really easy to follow but doable. Was shorted 2 thumb screws. Wrote the customer service and how to get 2 replacements even if I needed to buy them. They wanted photos of all the packing, bags of the box. Who takes photos of an item you buy before you open it and it's contents. 2nd email asking how do I buy them. Their reply was no photos... we can't help. You can have the best product but if your service socks, I'm done. I wasn't asking for free. I was willing to pay. I will go somewhere else next time.

Poor Support and Customer Service

I was assured that the travel cover I ordered would fit my boat. It wasn't even close and would have caused damage to the fabric to use it. After several attemptes to order a proper fitting cover, thay finally admitted that their patterns were wrong and that they were not able to supply one that fit. Returning the cover under their so called "30 DAY FIT GUARANTEE" warranty was a complete nightmare and a fight at every step of the way. They won't pay shipping! Months later, they made zero effort to remove my boat model from their on-line ordering tool. I would never deal with national boat covers ever again and would highly recommend looking elsewhere!

If you just want to throw money away order one of their covers. It fits like a blouse and sown together all wrong for my OB. For $647 you can do better at Walmart.

I purchased a golf cart cover from National Covers that was advertised to fit the make and model of our golf cart. Unfortunately, the cover does not fit and is poorly functioning. Despite the company selling a product that is unusable and of poor quality, they charged me an 18% re-stocking fee. I also had to pay for shipping to return it, which was $65. By the end, I will receive half of my money back for a poor quality, nonfunctioning golf cart cover. Not that this is surprising but when I contacted Customer Service, the agent explained that she gets these types of calls all the time and there is nothing she can do about it. She admitted that they frequently lose business, but their policy has never changed and reminded me that it is listed on the website. This is type of customer service and return policy is ridiculous for an on-line only company.

My wife purchased a 500 dollar golf cart cover for my Christmas present. The quality of the product is good, but it does not fit our cart. Need to return it. The website is down and will not allow us to access the return form. Called the company. The response is rude and unprofessional. " We can't access it either". Like it is not our problem. It is their problem and it will be corrected somehow. The cart cover covers the back wheels very nicely while leaving the passenger and driver sides open to the elements. Don't know why I feel like being fair, but in fairness the cover would be extremely nice if it just fit the golf cart. Club Car Battery Onward Model. Dont risk it. We can't get them to help to return it for refund. What do you do with a golf cart cover that does not fit? The reviews are true. Customer service is the pits.

Bait and switch!

We ordered a mooring cover in May for a 34' boat. Our boat year, make and model was included in their drop downs so we expected no issues with fit. It arrived in late June and was too short. After going through the hassle of returning it we were told a different cover would likely be better for us and should fit a boat up to 36'. We agreed and paid an up charge. The next cover was EVEN SHORTER. We returned it, provided measurements and photos. Since we couldn't get a straight answer or replacement we said just round it up to 37' and be done with it. Now they want another $245 and we've been without a cover all summer. Do NOT waste your time.

I bought the best boat cover they make it was too big so i tried to put the pole they sold me to raise the cover so it wouldn't hold water the pole would have to be 5 feet high to make it work they told me becouse i put the pole in they wouldn't take the cover back so i through it it the trash worst 600 bucks i ever spent

I bought a bimini top canvas from this company in February and we didn't use the boat until May. When I went to install the Bimini top I realized that the cover doesn't even come close to fitting correctly. There response was it was out of the 30 days and nothing they can do about. The problem is there product does not fit within the parameters that they said it would. NOT EVEN CLOSE! DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Run from this company. Terrible return policy and don't stand by their products. I only purchase because they had a 5 year warranty for the product. I spent $550 for what I thought was the best cover on the market based on what I was spending. At 2 years it started to tear. They want to prorate a new one and want me to send them $350 for a new one. I would be in $900 the cover in two years. Better off buying the cheap ones for $100 and putting a new one on every year. Their customer service is an absolute nightmare and I can't get anyone to discuss the terrible customer service I continue to experience. Anyone at this company that reads this is welcome to call me at *******958

I have tried to upload proof of purchase but it will not allow me to not sure why. Happy to share that as well.

I purchased a boat cover from them, with a 7year warranty. After 1.5 years it ripped in 2 places. I sewed them up. After another year 2 more huge rips in new places. I asked to get a return under the Warranty. The said since I had sewn up the first rips, that voided my warranty.

Ordered Bimini and poles and only 1/2 of order arrived. We called and they said they would send it out right away. Three weeks and still waiting! ZERO customer service from young woman who answered the phone, who said, "it's not our fault!" and the Manager who will not return calls.

I received my custom boat cover from National Boat Covers for my bass boat in November 2020. I was unable to use it until March 2021 because the boat was stored for the winter. Unpackaged and tried to install the cover and found the custom cover to be nearly 2 feet short. Even without the trolling motor installed the cover would not fit properly. The biggest insult is that National Boat Covers representatives did not even want to talk about a return of an unused worthless product. I do not recommend them on any level for both a poor quality product, poor service and nasty attitude of service representative. I also learned that the purchaser has to pay for shipping and restocking fee even if they were likely to take an item back. Look elsewhere for your cover. Wish they could receive zero stars. Worse purchase experience in over 5 years.

Does not fit.

It said it will fit a boat up to 19' 6" my boat is 18' 6" and still it is about a foot short, and it is a weird shape. I think it would fit a hot air balloon better. Over all quality looks good, now I will see if customer care is as bad as everyone has been writing about. Stay tuned

Ordered a boat cover. Checked twice on its delivery. Never was told it was out of stock. Received an email it shipped. Finally, three weeks later, was told it was out of stock and they still had not refunded my money. Horrible customer service
