Namecheap 'stay away' - I've been using these guys for several years and to be honest their service continues to decline. They're always looking for ways to make extra money and will not go the extra mile like they used to to provide good customer service and support, we spent a few thousand US a month with them and this will be terminated as soon as we find a reliable solution, I do not recommend using them they are unethical and frankly just unprofessional.

I have a few small websites hosted with NameCheap that are all very new. I received an email today informing me that my hosting account was suspended. I received no prior warnings and was given no chance to resolve the issue. Now my websites are down and I have no way to access them. I am still unsure what even caused my hosting to be suspended. I've been waiting to hear back from NameCheap's customer support for two hours. I have used several hosting providers and have never had an experience like this. I am extremely disappointed with NameCheap and do not recommend their hosting to anyone.

Truly dreadful service. I bought a new domain and a hosting package. Got to work excitedly then after a couple of days I got locked out of my account, lost access to all my files and was told that they would not be reinstated because I was some kind of fraud. They then refunded less than what I had paid for package in the first place. No other explanation. Do not trust Namecheap. They are dreadful.
