Naca
December 3, 2021

I started with NACA in 2020. I went into it with a good credit score and money in the bank. The process has been draining and tedious to say the least. My original case worker left early in the process, here in the Jacksonville office there is only one processor for everyone who is applying for the program. The action plan task are never updated correctly. I was told that my file would not be considered a priority due to my high income and high amount of savings and my interest rate would be 1% higher than what is being advertised. Why would you penalize a consumer for coming to you and good condition? I don't like that you have to give a review before you complete the process I feel that that distorts the real view of how the program really works. I'll keep you updated. The benefits of the program are good if you can take the stress of getting to the finish line. So many people quit with macro and go the traditional route because of the headache.

We are glad the program is going well for you. As of July 1,2021, the NACA program is available in all fifty states. Most of our local offices have reopened after being closed as a result of the pandemic, and our remote counseling program is still helping people all across the country where there is no nearby office. We look forward to handing you the keys to your new home!

To benefit from the low interest rate, no closing cost, etc among the many other benefits with NACA require resilience and dedication on the part of the prospective homeowner. I was given an action plan by my counselors which is making it easy to follow and submit the required documents. I am closer to becoming a homeowner. Thank you NACA.

We rather like the term "safe haven"! While the NACA program does require a commitment of time and effort on the part of the home buyer, they can rest assured that they will not fall victim to the several barriers that block people from homeownership, especially low and moderate income buyer and people of color. Keep working with your counselor and follow the advice and instruction you receive, and we will see you at the closing table very soon!

I've started looking to become a first-time home buyer for over a year now. My aunt introduced me to the NACA program. Once I heard about no down payment and no closing coast, I instantly grew addition to the program. I then begun the process to becoming a home owner. It has not been an easy process gathering all my information but my mind stays focus on the outcome. I'm happy to continue my journey with NACA to become a first-time home buyer.

My NACA experience has been very positive so far. I am about 6 months in and my counselor stated I am ready to purchase! I have a few more documents to upload on my part and my next appointment is next month. Let's go NACA! I have the best counselor at NACA, Mrs. Miranda!

My NACA Experience
November 30, 2021

My experience with NACA for the past year has been a journey. I was told about this program by my neighbor who believed that NACA could help me in my quest to be a homeowner. Although the journey has been a little rough and overwhelming I am holding on to my faith that all things will work for my good. I am starting to have appointments. Thank you Diandra Mercado for giving me the time and patience I need to get my documents uploaded and completed correctly. Thank you NACA in advance for my new home.

NACA IS THE BEST!
November 26, 2021

I was previously so nervous about even trying to pursue the path of trying to purchase a home. It seems like for some its easy and for others it could be time consuming. Each year I would tell myself I'm going to wait another year. Well a few months ago I told myself I'm going to try and if its my time great and if it isn't then its fine. I heard about NACA with No Down Payment, No Closing Cost, No PMI, Points or Fees and Below Market Fixed Rate. I said that's the program for me. My counselor I'm working with name is Zandria Cooper from the North Charleston, SC area and she is the GREATEST! She so patient, responds to emails and phone calls quickly and never minds answering my questions even if I have a million of them. I have 2 more simple task to do before she submits me for qualification and she definitely motivates even when I doubt myself. All I can say is NACA thank you for helping us and Zandria is definitely a great asset to the team. I'm wishing everyone the best of luck, prayers going out to us all, WE GOT THIS! NACA does take time but its well worth the wait!

November 24, 2021

I signed up for my workshop in August. It was a great opportunity to learn about NACA and how they help millions of people become homeowners. I had my initial meeting with my counselor in October, she was very helpful and nice. She provided me with all the steps I need to be become qualified. I will have my second meeting in December. I am very excited to continue my journey with this program. It Is awesome to not worrying about closing cost and a down payment plus low interest rates.

They really help you budget your finances so you can really figure out how much you can afford for a mortgage. I would deffinitly recommend it to anyone looking to buy a house. GREAT PROGRAM!

My NACA Experience
November 16, 2021

I just recently started my journey with NACA in August 2021 and so far everything is going great. My MC is very helpful and tells me exactly what it is that is needed upon every counseling. (Right now I am working on my action plan). I was told that this journey may take a while depending on how dedicated you are and I am all for it. I will give another update once I am further along in my journey but I would recomend this program to other single parents like myself that will be willing to put in the work.

Not good
November 12, 2021

My sister who is Spanish speaking had a terrible experience. She got the run around from her Representative. She provided supporting documents several times and had to call several times to follow up to no avail. They unresponsive and provided terrible customer service. Needless to say a year later and still waiting for guidance and approval of her loan.

Eager
November 14, 2021

We have been in the NACA Process since June 2021. Got a bit disappointed when we were notified that our first counselor quit. However we were assigned a counselor who seems to be an "old hand" and all is going well. Sometimes the process gets a bit frustrating, but we are keen to experiencing the "America's Best".

Naca is more of an accountability and independent program. You will have counselors to assist and guide you along through the, however you will have to put in the work to achieve your goal of homeownership.

It has been months since I begun the process with NACA, and I must admit with my impatience the Counselor in which was assigned to me has been very kind, courteous and patient with me on this journey. What I thought was a end to the paper journey I was advised that I must have a transcript from 2019 in which the IRS due to covid pandemic is far behind in completing. Therefore I am stuck with anxiety, anger and confusion waiting on this last document before hopefully getting approval to look for my first home. My failure to understand is why can't NACA accept the original tax 1040 form that was filed on my behalf for 2019 instead of delaying a tedious arduous process which could possibly take me into 2022. I am well pleased with my counselor Dwayne but I am drained with the process. To all looking to purchase first home through NACA be patient and Pray.

NACA Review
November 10, 2021

NACA is a great program. I attended the workshop and took a lot of good lessons out of it. NACA makes you understand how to be financially stable and be responsibly ready to own a house. It is a good opportunity for first time home buyers to take advantage. The process seems too long and stressing as it requires a lot of uploading and updating of documents, but if you are patient enough, you will get to the end. I am looking forward to own a house shortly and also I would like to mention that I am very grateful to Latonya Thompson, counselor based in the Washington DC area, for being so helpful and guiding me throughout the process and making it a pleasant counseling session every time we meet.
