We were booking a Qantas flight and somehow ended up with these crooks. Paid $588 but shocked to find we couldn't get a refund/flight credit AND our credit card ended up being charged two amounts totaling $A1001?
Plus all but non existent customer service!
My trip is one of the most money theft, I have booked flights from them in April but due to covid lockdown I had to change the flights timing and I rebooked in September but since lockdown airline has refund me back but trip never return my money back

First call 45 mins, and person just hangs up. 2nd call answers after 1 hr, the slowest process in the world, takes 30 mins and then say cant generate payment link call again!. Worst customer service.
My Trip appear to have no knowledge of their responsibilities, putting in terms and conditions that breach their legal obligations to provide full refunds. They strenuously try to avoid paying refunds, they add extra charges, they fictitiously split bookings into two so you only get half a refund, they delay, they keep you on the phone a long time, they refer you to their website when it is no help. They are bad in every way. Just one eg out of many. Your outward flight to Svalbard has been cancelled - we will not give you a refund unless you request it, and when you do request it they say "We cannot give you a refund for the return leg as that hasn't been cancelled", as if you are going to swim to Svalbard and catch the flight back.
Never use My Trip. Once they have your money they will be uncontactable if you need to cancel your flight. Total thievery. First class burglars and scammers.
I booked a flight on July 14 and now it's the end of September and they still haven't finished the refund application to the airline. I mean, how complicated could a refund application be? Why are they taking so long? I needed the money, and it just pisses me off. My advice is to not use their service especially if you expect a cancellation and need a refund soon.

My trip is a criminal organisation! I bought a ticket from Madrid to Colombia back in April 2021. When I got to Gatwick I was denied boarding because of covid/brexit. Despite Avianca saying I have credit with them until march 2022 Mytrip have not offered me a refund or change of flight. This despite me having paid a cancellation fee. They have received communication from Avianca about my credit but are basically trying to keep my £500 without refund or offer of another flight. These are criminals. I've paid for a service and it hasn't been delivered. Criminals, don't use them. I will take them to court!
SCAM. Booked a flight with them for TAP Portugal. STILL waiting for a refund after 4 months and don't expect to get my money back at this point. I've also confirmed with the airline that they issued the refund. They did, but mytrip just has all my money now and they still have the nerve to deny this. Will keep calling them and leave bad reviews everywhere until I get my money back though. I will also be pursuing legal action.

Don't use this company. They do not understand customer service by American standards. I made a mistake with my booking. Some how the departure city and arrival city were reversed. I noticed it immediately and wasn't able to change it. So since I have 24 hours I didn't think it was a huge deal. I didn't purchase any of the services that they had before checking out and there are many. If they were reputable they would have did a courtesy refund and then told me to be more careful in the future but they wanted to charge me $60 to cancel $107. Ticket purchase. I told her (the representative) don't do anything. I will contact the bank. I contacted my bank and fixed it so that the payment would be declined the charges. I received an email stating my refund was processed. After I told her not to do anything. I believe this company is actually in India not in California at all. They don't abide by our laws and should not be permitted to misrepresent themselves as a US company. Don't book with them. Spend 10 dollars more and use a reputable website like booking.com or
I purchased a round trip ticket for USD 75 through Kayak, where the offer cleared read "Free 24h cancellation." Within 5 minutes of purchase I realized I bought the reverse city order. I immediately purchased a second and correct trip and requested the cancellation and refund of the first one. I emailed Mytrip and spent 45min on call hold with their contact center before giving up. This morning I received their emailed response. They will not honor their 24h cancellation and instead plan to charge me USD 87 to cancel my ticket.

Bought flights that needed to change due to covid restrictions, free of charge from the flight BUT "administrative taxes are always due to My Trip".
At final cost me much more than if I bought directly with the company, in circumstance, with no penalty.
Change was made but imagine, one of the tickets they don't associate to the reserve, and almost lost all because, after waiting literally, many hours, you just can reach the general central, never being able to transfer the phone to the "correct department". I COULDN'T ALL OVER 3 WEEKS, by phone, by email, messages...
They reply by email providing numbers that: or don't exist or always busy, even the site indicates numbers that phone company inform not existing. If you doubt you can try but I hope you'll never need their Support Services!
If you're going to reply that you can't reply to this question because "... a non booking reference was provided...". I don't provide it once I'm not going to post public private data!
I deeply regret that such companies are allowed to operate.
I have not lost the trip just because, after this outrageous 3 weeks trying to contact MY Trip, the company one day before could save it (if you wonder why, flight company only can interfere within such travel reserves through agency, 48h previous to the flight).
USE MY TRIP AT YOUR OWN CONSCIOUS RISK, BUT BE SURE WITH A HIGH PROBLEMS PROBABILITY IF YOU'LL NEED FURTHER SUPPORT.
Flights booked from Tbilisi to Edinburgh (via Istanbul) for the 21st May 2021. Turkish Airlines contacted us on the 11th March 2021 to advise the flights were canceled (luckily the airline advised us as MyTrip never communicated this to us).
I have emailed MyTrip upwards of 20 times requesting our refund and they keep replying with an autoreply stating that they are awaiting a refund from the airlines. Please note: We have a friend who was smart enough to book directly with the airlines and who received their refund back in May 2021. We have also contacted Turkish Airlines who have confirmed that a refund has already been provided to MyTrip.
After reading all the other appalling reviews it is very apparent that this is all part of the scam. I don't understand why Skyscanner or any other business would want to associate themselves with such a criminal company. Maybe if enough people who have been burnt from this company contact Skyscanner etc, they will at the very least dissociate themselves and stop this from happening to other unsuspecting customers.
In the event of a refund due to a change in the departure time, this agency makes all sorts of obstacles so that the refund does not take place. I do not advise anyone to contact this travel agency.
I originally wrote a terrible review about My Trip because I felt scammed when I purchased and then later needed a refund for around $500. I came to terms I would never be refunded and wrote a review saying how they scammed me, before moving on with my life. Several long months later- I woke up and looked at my bank account realizing they finally did refund me. Saw the refund finally came through so I decided to write a new review correcting my last review. They still need to be better with communicating and sending updates about the refund process. Their customer support needs a lot of improving, but I'm thankful I received my refund. I understand a lot of businesses were suffering during the huge covid-19 outbreak and if a company refunds everyone at the same time, they would go bankrupt so I have empathy... but that empathy is highlighted, mostly because I finally received my money back.
I purchase a flight with cancellation guarantee that would provide a voucher of 90% cost in case of cancellation for any reason. I called to the service and they told me to cancel the flight with the airline first and then to request a refund. So, I cancelled the flight and made numerous attempts to call, but the line was unavailable. Therefore, I send a mail to customer service with the information about flight cancellation and request of refund. The company did not provide a refund with the argument that I sent them a mail instead of calling to them. What an absurd!
Absolutely disgusting agency, a real scam. I booked to Hannover and had to cancel because of a medical emergency. Two months passed before making a partial refund! They took $71 as ‘handling fees' to cancel the ticket plus extra charges. I tried to call them many times, but no one ever picks up the phone! This is a scam agency and I'm surprised that it's listed on Skyscanner! Shame on you guys!
MyTrip is a scam - they will not process your booking, they issue vouchers which cannot be redeemed on their website, none of their telephone numbers work (i. E. 'This number has not been recognised' automated response or the line cuts off before it rings).
On March 8th, 2020 I booked a flight to Norway via MyTrip (L3N637) and paid with my credit card. The flight was canceled on 07/27/2020 due to the pandemic by MyTrip. In the beginning I received regular "status reports" by email about the progress of the reimbursement - until March 2021. According to MyTrip, the money had already arrived from the airline - I was then repeatedly asked for patiency because of the "current situation". After multiple inquiries in summer 2021 I received on August 12th, 2021 that "no reimbursement is possible" - afterwards, after a corresponding answer from my side, I received several messages that the process was being processed with "high pressure" and that it was already in the finance department, etc.
In the meantime is September and the simple reverse booking of almost € 370 to my card account is still pending. Objectively, there is no real intention on the company´s side to reimburse (something like this works within a few weeks with reputable companies) - rather, in my opinion, they simply rely on the fact that as many costumers as possible simply give up sooner or later - something like this probably pays off, especially when it is difficult to grasp this company under civil law.
From my point of view, the offense of embezzlement has been fulfilled here - I will now have an examination of what a criminal prosecution against the company should look like. As a personal future experience (and for others as a recommendation), I advise you to do a little research on the internet first before booking - it would have saved me time and money, as I was obviously not the first to spot this company fell into the trap.
Booked my airline flights through Mytrip.com and my flight time was changed to an earlier time so I needed to cancel my flight as I would not be able to make the connection. Customer service was awful and they made it very difficult to cancel my flight and charged a $30 cancelation fee. Do not book through them!

This is really the type of sales an marketing organizations that ads nothing, just takes commissions and turns away when they need to deliver. Stay away!
