The worst service received by myTrip. I booked a flight and after I checked out and agreed to a certain price, an extra £49 came off my account. I went back straight after to check the price again on the same flight and the original price I had agreed on was still the same. After many hours on the phone the only excuse I was given was, "There must have been a price hike in that minute you checked out" and "You must remember you are dealing with a system and not a human so these things can happen". It is absolutely unacceptable that extra money is taken off your account without any notice of a price hike or agreeing to a surcharge. This is theft!
Avoid at all costs. You may save some money but if anything comes up you'll be sorry.
The purchasing process was simple enough. Our airline changed the flight times and they sent an email saying if the new accommodated times don't work to contact them to rearrange or get a refund.
The new times didn't work and so I contacted the airline however they informed me that they couldn't alter tickets booked through a third party site, but to contact the agency directly and that they would be able to rearrange the times.
I called mytrip and was on hold for hours! When I finally spoke to someone they said they couldn't change the ticket to contact the airline directly. I told him I had just spoke with the airline and they informed me of their policy and to contact you. He just once again repeated I need to call the airline and hung up on me.
They must be reading from a script. There's never any managers. They even had the audacity to tell me I had contacted the wrong department to hang up call back and select a different menu option.
This is 100% a scam.
We had a schedule change due to flight cancellations. Our flight schedule has been adjusted for weeks, however we are scheduled to depart in 7 hours… have called myTrip various times and we still don't have our tickets issued … it's been 5 days of "escalations" and absolutely no assistance.

They took the money from Credit card acc. But they didnt sent us anything, we were waiting for confirmation in email, and it never came also in cell phone they dont answer it at all..
If your flight gets cancelled for ANY reason, mytrip will keep your money and refuse you a refund. Stay away and use something else. Anything else.
This is the worst experience booking travel I've ever had in my life. I tried to book flights to Italy for Easter - at the final page the website told me my payment did not go through and to try again.
I then rebooked the tickets with RyanAir (who were cheaper anyway, once you took into account cabin bag fees). Later, I found an email confirmation from MyTrip in my junk folder - they had booked the ticket after all. I called My Trip to ask for a refund - they refused. I explained that the booking was due to a technical error on their website, and they still refused.
I've now been chasing this for weeks and am no closer to any help. The cost of tickets was less than £150 - you'd think they'd be able to refund their customers for this amount when the problem is their own glitchy website. Terrible customer service, terrible prices. Avoid.
Too late in giving refunds and charge extra when they refund in the name of taxes. No recommend at all.
I recently booked a flight to UK dated 17 May. I got an email from the airline saying they had changed my flight to 2 June... more than 2 weeks later. This is unacceptable. When I try to call them they do not answer and if I send them a message they also do not answer. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER AGAIN! Very frustrating and very angry..
Stay away, we found this site through skyscanner which is a reputable site I have been using for years without any issues, I didn't think they would recommend a total scam. MyTrip is nothing but a scam, we paid for our tickets, and never got a confirmation order number or comfirmation email or the tickets. Ever. But they did make sure to take our money right away. Tried calling them multiple times and there was 0 help. Please avoid this site at all cost. I do not know why they aren't shut down yet. If I could I would give it below 0 stars.

I was travelling from London to Vienna on 04/03/22. I booked my tickets via MyTrip and submitted a minimum of 3 complaints and called them twice for one hour on hold but I am receiving no response.
I received a notification during morning on 04/03/22 at 8:10am that I was checked in.
Later on the same day at 10:10am on 04/03/22 I received an email that I need to check in at the airport.
When I arrived to the Wizzair check in desk I was charged £70 for a late check-in!
This is absolutely unacceptable that MyTrip let me know that I have to check in at the airport and then I get charged £70 at the airport.
Do not book with MyTrip!
Tried to get refund for a flight booked by mistake. They took the money but they keep refusing stating that it's the airline that doesn't allow refund. Lies!
They don't own the transaction. Flight cancelled by airline due to wx and MyTrip refused to rebook flight because their system still showed the flight as active. Not willing to contact airline to verify

Do not buy this cheap deal from MyTrip- please save your money and mental health. Absolutely the worst customer service, 90 min on the line, and then transferred. Their agents are not trained professionals- I had wind and vehicles and other noise in the background, and then call dropped due to technical difficulty.
My flight was delayed by 2 days due to the war, and I needed to change original airport. They keep sending me to Airline(which can't do anything, because booking through Mytrip). Short story 2 days of ping-ponged in between, absolutely useless. Now I will ask for refund and rebook directly with airline.
I am a frequent flyer, but such awful service is for the first time. DO NOT USE THEM!

I usually dont write reviews but I wanted to share a little bit about my experience getting a refund from MyTrip after cancelling my flights due to COVID. Basically I made a booking last November before OMRICON was a thing and basically when things got bad I decided to cancel my flights incase the situation got worse.
When I first called, I was informed my refund cancellation fee would be 400 dollars as that was what the airline was telling them apparently. I told them I wanted to think about it and I would call them back.
The second time I called I enquired about cancelling my flight again and the next person told me the fee would be 600 dollars even though the previous person the fee wouldnt change. I told them I wasnt paying that and decided to contact the airline directly.
When I explained the situation to the airline they said there would be no issues getting a refund due to the new covid situation.
I finally called MyTrip back and explained that I spoke to the airline directly and that the airline said there is no fee to cancel to which MyTrip promptly responded ok no problem we will apply for a full refund? Like what.
It took just over 3 months to get the refund back and only because I threatened to go to my credit card company if it took any longer.
Do not use this company. They are complete garbage and are running a refund scam.
These guys made me wait more than one hour on hold and Toby would pickup. All while claiming they have 24/7 service which is a lie. I wasn't able to cancel my reservation and get a refund because "I contacted too late". Thieves.
Very annoyed to check in for the trip home to find that even though we paid My Trip for luggage for both flights they didn't book luggage with Ryanair for the return flight so had a nice 59.99 euro charge to get the luggage home. Message looking for a refund and been told we are not a priority. Not a good experience with this company and won't be silly enough to use them again
