My son bought a ticket through mytrip.com on August and received a confirmed flight booking. When he checked-in his ticket 3 hours before the flight we found out that it was not a valid ticket. We tried to ring the *******881 but to no success..."Sorry we are having technical difficulties. Please call again later"... so almost 2 hours trying same technical issues. Im glad that we were able to locate the Greece company through the invoice receipt and they were able to sort the problem 1.5 hrs before the flight. His flight was Auckland to Hongkong (boarding pass was issued at Auckland Airport) but the boarding pass for Hongkong to Cebu will be issued in Hongkong. Hopefully my son will reach his destination without any problem by tomorrow. I will never use this site MYTRIP.COM.
I recently booked tickets from Jeddah-Toronto-Jeddah and bought a fully flexible ticket. Now when i try to cancel it just after a week of booking the ticket, they are saying they will deduct almost the entire amount even though it is a flexible ticket. Let me tell you here that I paid extra 2200 Saudi riyals to get the flexible ticket. Since I was left with no other options I thought I should just change the travel date and requested for a date change twice, to no avail. Their customer service sucks. Now I know the reason why they don't have any email address on their website because they don't want unhappy customers to even voice their opinions. THEY ARE DUPING THEIR CUSTOMERS AND MISREPRESENTING SO STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
We booked business class tickets for the whole family (business flex), the airline was Lufthansa. We had to cancel due to poor health of our child. They swallowed 40% of the total paid price. The claim that the 40% of the cash withheld was on account of "airline taxes". If you have time, patience and gumption to read reams of terms and conditions then by all means book with them. If not, then take your business elsewhere. Additionally, airlines must be aware of such predatory website, why are they allowing such bad actors to sell their tickets?

Ok, let me explain in a simple way: mytrip.com is all good if u r looking for a good travel deal and assuming everything is going to be alright until u get on board.

If any unexpected things happen like a situation where u can't travel, then things will be extremely terrible with mytrip.
One week before my flight, I met up with an accident. The first thing I did was to email them to help me either to cancel or change the dates. Each request u place will take at least two days to get any response and the response will be absolutely useless. It's been a week so far since this ping pong game is going on. My flight I'd tomorrow and until today, my flight tickets Are not cancelled. I am expect a 3k USD loss due to this terrible service from mytrip. I even tried to call them to their expensive UK number but always I was on hold for 15-20 minutes. I had to disconnect as the call from Singapore was rediculously expensive.
So guys, a small advice: avoid them! A few bucks great flight deal is worthless as their customer service is extremely rediculous
I booked flight with this company and needed to cancel. They agreed to give me a refund. But months later I still didn't receive the refund. When I called up they claimed they paid me a month ago. Obviously they didn't as I didn't receive it. I don't know how the financial services still allow an obvious fraudulent company to operate, scamming the public. Its outrageous that they are still operating.
They never reply to emails, like what other people have said here, so don't bother.
DO NOT BOOK and DO NOT CALL through or any of their following websites and their numbers! All their numbers are premium and they make you wait 10-15 minutes or even longer resulting to over 40-50 phone bills. DO not even bother emailing, you will never get any response!
I booked flights through them and my flights were cancelled by the airline I have been trying to contact them to return my money due to the cancellation via email, fax, facebook, phone with no answer. I only have ended up with a phone bill of over 50 until now!
They by law should be stating that their numbers are premium, something they don't do and I will certainly be taking a legal action against them!

Extremely deceptive bordering on fraudulent practices. Do not use them. Pay a little more and book with the airline.

Before I completed my flight reservations I called your customer service to specifically inquire about your seat preference service in which you charge an extra fee. I specifically asked if I paid for this extra service, would I be able to select my seat and the customer rep said yes, I would be able to select my seat preference. After finalizing and paying for my trip, I tried to select my seat (as per your customer I would be able to do this after I pay for the flight) but I couldn't do it. I called your customer service again and they said I had to call the airlines (JAL) to do it. I called JAL and the JAL rep said that I won't be able to to it till 24 hours before my flight. So, I tried it again today 11/26 for my 11/27 flight and still couldn't do it online. I called JAL and they said I can't select a seat preference because of my booking code. I called your customer support and asked them what I can do to get my seat preference (which is an aisle seat) or if I can get a refund for an extra service that I can't seem to use. They said that it's up to the airlines and that I can't get a refund for the seat preference service. I feel that I was conned since you would've known before hand that the booking code does not allow seat preference. You can not and should not offer and charge for this extra service if you can't fulfill this. Your customer service rep stated what was in your fine print about this service not being refundable and not guaranteed but the FACT that I called before completing my booking for this specific extra charge service shows that I made sure that I would be allowed to choose my seat preference if I paid for this extra service. Never once was I told on that phone call that it is not guaranteed nor non refundable.
This is NOT good customer service at all and I'm very disappointed. I will post my negative reviews on Skyscanner, google, yelp and all the other review sites I'm a member of so consumers don't get gypped. I will also report this to the Better Business Bureau.
Terrible service. Impossible to contact them. I tried calling them for 3 HOURS, because I had an issue with my flight. The representatives were extremely unhelpful. I needed a simple change in the name of the passenger. It took them couple of days to do this and they DID NOT forward me the correct registration confirmation. I had to call Alitalia to finally be able to receive them. Stay away!
Absolutely impossible to contact them or change anything about your booking. Worst agent I have ever used. Stay. Away.
Do not use them. It's a scam. Terrible service. I booked a flight 4 month's in advance with mytrip.com and Philippine airlines. I used mytrip.com as they were the cheapest. Then got an email within a day of booking to say that the airline had made a scheduled change and moved the first leg of the trip to the exact same time as the second leg of my trip. The airline said it's free to reissue me a ticket, but they mytrip.com charged me £40. I had to pay it as the only free option they gave me, made it impossible to make my trip. I paid, picked my dates and it took over 6 weeks for them to confirm my changes. In that time I lost deposits on hotels as I couldn't confirm my arrival dates etc. I called them twice a week and even called the airline multiple times to check the dates were still free. The airline said it would have taken 2 mins and 1 email to change my dates. Mytrip.com kept telling me it was a long process. They had to refer my case to the booking department, until finally I spoke to one person who was willing to help and he rebooked my tickets in mins while I was on the phone.
My partner is currently experiencing many of the issues that have been raised here. A flight changed and my trip have not assisted. My partner has tried to contact them for assistance which results in extra charges without any suitable assistance being provided. She has emailed them paying the admin fee. No response! It seems they take your money and are very incompetent or they are a scam organisation. Either way they should be avoided
The worst company I have ever dealt with, completely unhelpful with crazy terms and conditions bordering on being fraudulent!
I had a minor change to my flight schedule and needed my flight changing, a good three weeks before the flight, they didnt manage to reschudule me, or cancel my return flight, or provide me with a refund, compensation or any explanation!

Please do not book with Mytrip. They leave you behind. I have bought inbound and outbound journey from mytrip. Outbound was fine but inbound they have bought separate tickets and sold to me when there was connection. When my flight was delayed which in result I have missed my connection. When I approached the airlines they clarified that the ticket should have not bought like that when there is connection. If it was bought together the AIrline would have bared expenses and would have showed me alternative. Because it was sold by Mytrip wrongly. No one have covered my trip. With all the stress and hassle I had to book next day flight and hotel to stay with my pocket money. When I approached they deny and stopped responding to any emails or calls when I was waiting in Airport for hours. Absolutely gutted with the response. How even IATA approve such kind of agents.

I have booked a ticket for India and they asked me for the flexi ticket option. I selected NO for the 1st time and then proceed to the payment. Just before the payment to confuse you they ask for the same option again to charge you more. The same happened to me I clicked yes the second time and I was charged for the flexi option. I started to call them and it took me 20 mins just to reach the customer service and within 20 mins they said they cannot change the option. This is the second time I had such a bad experience. I suggest everyone to give the bad feedback on trip advisor so that people dont book the tickets through them. I will do the same. The waiting time in the customer service is forever.
They have an option to buy a special service and change the airplane tickets at any time.
The problem is that you cannot easily change the tickets:
1. You send a request to change
2. You receive the answer with the price, but you cannot pay at this moment (!).
3. You need to send second request, wait for 18 hours (in my case) and then they will call you and offer new price, which will be 30%-100% higher.
Better use other agents, which allow you to change tickets immediately.
Airline closed and when we asked for refund they refuse. Travelers who paid directly to the airline company they took they money back, but those done the payment through mytrip has been refused for any compensation.we cant even get in contact with them. What a shame!
Do not use mytrip, I did and I regretted, they have no idea of customer service, they have their own rules regarding air fares snd bookings and they just plain dishonest. So my advice, even if it seems like the cheapest flight, stay away as you will pay more down the line.

After I missed the flight I applied with Mytrip for rescheduling, they gave me the cost and promised to send email for payment. After no response, I called them several times, and wrote several emails... They finally cam up with new price which was triple than before, the price for rescheduling was finally more than price for new ticket. Finally I had to cancel my trip. Frustrating waste of money and time.

This is really the type of sales an marketing organizations that ads nothing, just takes commissions and turns away when they need to deliver. Stay away!
