Inconsistent Customer Service

I contacted TickTalk support over a month ago about my broken watch band. I was told on would arrive in 5-7 business days.
After waiting a couple of weeks and still no band, I contacted customer service again, this time asking for a shipping number. Conveniently, it was shipped the same day as the contact. I kept checking the tracking number for over a week and it never left the facility. I had to contact the support team again, this time receiving a formal confirmation of shipping, not just a tracking number.
This was a very simple request but it took well over a month and multiple contacts to resolve. There was no proactive follow up or explanation from the support team on what the issue was.
Overall, this disappointing service has experience, coupled with a watch band that broke after a few months, does not make me want to advocate for this brand to other parents.

Replacement wrist bands

Received new wrist band. Wrist band material should be changed. I have had to replace straps a couple of times.and it's not easy to do. I had to purchase the required tools to change it out Maybe one similar to a scruntchy

Band replacement is not easy

I still couldn't replace the bands because ticktalk does not provide necessary screw drivers. For the price of band these should be provided with clear instructions. Different screw needs different drivers, there is no consistency.

Great Customer Service!

Very pleasant person listened to my request, and looked up my phone. Apparently I had been one of their early customers. They sent me a replacement phone, and I was able to keep my service with RedPocket, which at $12 a month is a huge bargain!

Great customer service

We have used tick talk watches for several years (child 6-8) and it has been so helpful for our son. We had an incident where he fell and broke it and they replaced it for free. He also lost the watch at school and they offered a decent sized discount on a new one (they had recently launched the tick talk 5). When the replacement took a long time to get to us, they took off the monthly charge for cell service for the month we didn't have it. The watches GPS is decent, but not exact. The iheart radio is nice for the kids and the calling feature is the main event for us. I love being able to reach him and for him to be able to call me without worrying about it falling out of his pocket. The video calling doesn't work well, but that's not so important to us as the other features. The reminders help my son a lot with taking responsibility for his own tasks.

Confusing

Makes no sense that the site says I need to send the watch in for a simple band change. And since no aftermarket bands work, I felt forced to do so. There was no mention of the fact that I can choose to do it myself until after completing the purchase. Purchase experience aside, I'm annoyed that the band costs $30 and still costs $30 when I do it myself, and I have no choice but to buy the easily-breakable band due to the antenna issue. The band itself irritates my son's skin and there's nothing I can do about it.

I would definitely recommend this watch to each and every parent as it's calms you down and gives you a tension free mind. You can track call message your child anytime. We preferred AT&T network and its seamless coverage is five star. The watch sound quality is good no need to bring close to ear or mouth to speak. It has parental control so final stuff remains in parents hands. Secondly the strong assumption of parents that such watches are distraction for kids in any class or school then it's wrong - kids get used to it in a day or two and treat it like just another watch. Highly recommended.

Replacement bands should be free

I ordered a new watchband and replaced it myself with no issues. I feel, however, that I should not have to pay for the replacement part as it was the result of poor craftsmanship. I worry we'll have the same issue again.

Very happy with this watch

We purchased this watch for our 8-year-old son and he absolutely loves it. One of the features we value most is that he can call us at any time, which gives us great peace of mind knowing we can communicate with him whenever necessary.
I was also very impressed that the company contacted me by email to confirm that the watch would function properly in Costa Rica before shipping it. That level of attention and customer care is truly appreciated.

Extremely expensive band replace

It's crazy I had to pay $27 just for this band replacement, because there is no other company or option like on Amazon or anywhere to get it. If it breaks again I will just quit ticktalk

Item was received quickly and as expected. It was a bit pricey and you have to have specific tools to replace it. I wish that wasn't the case but at least I am able to replace to broken wristband.

Great, but fragile

We have had the watch for 2 and a half years and love it when it's working. Unfortunately, we have had to replace the watch 2 times since our original purchase. The SIM card cover is also fragile and cracks easily, even with the new sticker that they provide. Hoping that the next iteration is sturdier.
