I have been doing taxes for 24 years. Until last year I used a different program that was hard to navigate, very costly and Hard to get help when needed. I started using My Tax Pro Last year. Wow! I love the workflow, the ease of use, the updates on filed returns, and the customer help when needed. I would recommend this program to anyone doing taxes! Also, The Customer service is excellent! Nancy helped me to day and I did not feel like I was imposing, and solved my problems swiftly. Thank you!

When the sales person approached me in September 2019, he stated that the software provides client portal for data exchange, the software had the capacity to convert returns from my exiting platform, their tech support was comparable to Drake Tax and many upgrades were coming. Surprise! Today is January 7,2020 and they are still struggling with the conversions, the portal is iffy at best and no one answers the phones. Its a joke! I have requested a refund! Let's see how that goes! Its a joke!

Started in November with a rollover from drake. They had to get on my computer in Dec and tried several times but only few rolled over. As of Jan. 6 full rollover not done. They refuse to give refund saying only 14 day policy. I tried to like it but felt is very slow in bringing up a client out of the 14 it did roll over.
It was like having a bad boyfriend and they still want me to work with them that I'll like it.
Just a loss of money to me... just saying. Went back to drake this year. It never disappointed in any way but much more pricey.

I was in the sales department at MyTaxPrepOffice for one year. I saw the product functionality and features grow tremendously from a good product to a great product offering incredible value. I witnessed our support staff go to great lengths to make everyone happy. Almost every tax preparer that called in for assistance left very happy with the service and the features of the product, once they understood how to use it. On the rare occasion when a tax preparer could not be satisfied, it was almost always because they did not take full advantage of the free training and could not get over the fact this program did not have a feature located in the exact same place as their old program with the exact same shape and color button. Buy it, TAKE THE FREE TRAINING, and practice a little in the off season. Ninety-nine percent of tax preparers will love all of the features and value included in one package they can take anywhere in a mobile office format.

I have been with them for 3 years and i just loves the software and the support i needed to navigate through the whole software it self is a good one i will tell anyone to try this software and see how it does. I love the price and the all the forms are easy to locate, i know as we have these changes each year they keep us up on what we need to know. I am well satisfied with this product and well keep on using it with any thought of change thank you MYTAXPREPOFFICE for all you offer us to do our job.

I used previous tax software and ventured to try out MyTAXPrep. At first, yes, hard learning new program. Then the new tax changes,,,
This company is great! Any questions I have had I have gotten immediate help, response, guidance and solvent for my issues.
I didn't have it with my past software,
Mind you, I compared side by side for the 2 past years. MyTAXPrep solved tax issues that the other company gave me the wrong information.
I will stay with this program as I see they are growing and adding better features!

I come from a big box tax prep experience. The first year 2015 was a learning curve, the continued updates, improvements and constant availability to get things fixed has been the most beneficial for me. Many benefits to see where your submitted files are, and ease at clearing up the items that need attention in the preview tab.
I look forward to the next tax year 2019 and using the new tools and portals to enhance the client relationships. Great product for the support, price and service.

This will be my third tax season using this software. Thankfully I have not had the problems that many of the reviewers have experienced. 2017 was very frustrating but with their help I made it through. My main complaint is the State. It is always so late being approved and you have to really check the calculations closely. For Virginia, it often miscalculates the allocation between the Spouses. I had several returns last year that calculated a state refund and taxpayers received a letter from the State stating that their return has been corrected. Very embarrassing to a Tax Accountant with over 40 years experience. I always used Drake which in my opinion is the best you can buy. However I am now semi-retired and only prepare less than 100 returns. Drake would be too expensive for me now. My biggest concern is the State portion of the software. I am expecting 2019 software to be much better, but you can bet I will pay close attention to the calculations which really slows preparation down. I would suggest that they hire more people who understand taxes to answer chat. Sometimes takes a while to get an answer. If this year causes the same problems, I will return to Drake for their pay per return for small businesses and pass the cost along to my clients.

OK, year 1 for me was 2015 thru now. 4 years in this software and I love it! Year 1 tried my patience but their support and my learning curve after years of Lacerte and other software, this became seamless. Scary to jump over but happy I did. The program does flow for me and I like to just leave them a pat on the back. Call me crazy but I love this program now. The proformas have come through well year after year. I started tax back in the days of input sheets and curriers handling the returns to outsource processing. Ya, remember that? Dating myself.
