I worked for Big Box company over 20 years before deciding to move on.
As an Enrolled Agent, I needed functional software without all the total handholding. I have been quite satisfied these last 5 years and impressed with the Support feature and logical and useful upgrades to the software. Added new feature for billing within software to expedite client payment options!
It is truly excellent software, it is more affordable than the one I used last year and has many tools that make tax filing much easier. The guidance and support from Mr. Rafael were outstandin; his advice and assistance helped a great deal in understanding the program, I recommend it 100%.

The overall experience is very good. The software is very user friendly and functions well. I personally like the design of the dashboard. I have only two negative issues, which probably does not affect the greater percentage of people. Many of my clients are farmers and I need to file the payroll form 943, which is not available and my second negative, is the asset depreciation categories need to be expanded to include farming equipment. I have made due with what is available but sometimes I have to override and I would prefer not to do that.

After reading some of the reviews, I'm wondering if these people got paid for their review. This software is the worst, I have ever used. 1) I was misled about the efile capabilities. 2)the federal return does not sync with the state returns. 3)It does not know the tax laws correctly. 4) I would not recommend this to anyone.

MyTaxPrepOffice is a great software product and an outstanding price. Especially great for the more experienced preparers but year over year the product makes upgrades and improvements to make it user friendly for all!
I have been using MyTAXPrepOffice for the past five years, and it has been a great partner to my business. The program is easy to use, it has a lot of great features that save time and money, like free electronic signature, "mytaxportal" for clients to upload documents.
Everyone has been helpful. They explained everything in great detail. Allows answered my questions and they are very nice.

I have been using MyTAXPrepOffice for two seasons now and have been able to file returns in prior years, as well as convert returns from my other software. Their support team is always available and extremely helpful. Navigation is simple and with unlimited filings I don't have to be concerned with costs other than the subscription, which offers multi-state filings also at no additional charge. As long as I am preparing returns I will use this software.
I have worked with several different software programs and found that MyTaxPrep to be user friendly and a cost competitive software which has features that cover individual, business, and corporate tax returns that can handle various client needs. The customer service is knowledgeable and can handle most inquiries in regards to the software and are also open to suggestions for any improvements. We must all keep in mind when utilizing any type of tax software that the answers to actual tax related questions must be directed IRS.
