I was happy to use the resume builder and it help. Then I look at the job board, click on the jobs they offer, I do not like to be redirected to other jobsites (careerbuilder, monster). Then for got to cancel my subscription got hit at a bad time, (right now). I called customer service, talk too Richard and ask for his I.D. too make sure that it is cancel,... he gave me no I.D. so my next step it to tell my bank to block them if they try again.

I was approached with a job offer and was asked for a resume. Since mine was over 7 years old, I needed quick help. I was very pleased with the My Perfect Resume website. I imported my old resume and it helped me revise, update and buff it up. I really liked how the computerized review of the nearly finished resume helped to finalize it. I will admit that I too was disappointed that the "free" was only free to use, not print or download, but I understand they have to make money.
I intended to cancel right away, but my mom was hospitalized for over 2 weeks and I completely forgot until the charge went through. Jonathan was able to kindly help me to get the charge refunded. If I were in a job search, this would likely be a great help. But with no need to go further than a properly constructed single resume, this was more than I needed. 5 Stars for customer service. 4 stars for the site.

I paid 3.95 to update it and called to cancel my membership within two weeks and they kept insisting to stay and I really just wanted to cancel the guy tells me he's going to send me a cancelation confirmation and ends up sending me a receipt for another 4.95 when I said I didn't want the service anymore. They refunded me 3.95 but not the original 4.95 unprofessional i recommend trying a better site.

Beware of charges. They say FREE. It is not free. When you get to the end of filling out your resume, they charge you or you don't get it. On top of that, they automatically put you on a paid subscription after you pay. I went and cancelled it before I even got off the site and they still took $25 out of my acct. Now I have to wait to get a refund. They are a dishonest company and rely on people who probably don't check their bank accounts often. And their advertising is false. It is not FREE!

It is not free. I spent an hour working on my resume and they want money to print or download it. I am not paying these dirtbags and neither should you.

Our free account gives you the opportunity to try out our resume builder before deciding to purchase. The ability to print, email, or download your resume and cover letters are features included in our paid subscription and not listed as a feature of the free account. You can download a plain text version of your resume for free. To further our user experience, we provide the option of a 14-day trial for a small fee. When you select our 14-day trial enrollment, it provides all details on screen that after the 14th day it will auto enroll into the monthly subscription service. It also explains, that you can cancel at any given time. This alert is also given when the credit card information is requested where it explains that, unless you cancel, you automatically authorize us to charge your account every four weeks at the current rate of the subscription. Lastly, when you finish your enrollment process, an e-mail is sent explaining this as well. Auto emails can get picked up as spam or junk mail. Be sure to check your spam/junk mail folder. We apologize for any confusion this may have risen. Feel free to contact us if you have any further questions or concerns regarding our products and service.
The resume was really hard to download and the interface wasn't very user friendly. Navigating the website proved to be cumbersome and unorthodox even with the step by step method.

The site is not free. Once I finished my resume I had to pay $2.95 to actually print and see my resume after I spent 2 hours making it. I went ahead and paid the amount for a 2 week trail. Shortly after I received an email saying that after my 2 week trial I would be billed monthly. When I tried to cancel my subscription there was no option online under my account so I called customer service and have been on hold for the second time for over 20 minutes and still no answer. I have sent an email and still waiting on a response.

I called customer care; I am able to connect executive within a minute and resolved my queries, and explained the situation which I was not using service from couple of months, executive name I spoke with was Dhalma, she was so kind and took my request for cancelling the service and refunded 2 months charges.

The font for my resume was way too small and in the end, I didn't end up using it. On top of that, the sneaky buggers charged me an extra $20. Would not recommend this.

I've used perfect resume before an even though u have to pay it for its definitely worth it. I so recommend it if you're one of those people who have trouble doing a resume. Their customer service is even pretty awesome as well on both occasions when I needed help they were great my last rep whose name was Liz apote was Extremely knowledgeable an super helpful she was very very nice happy young lady that's my kind of customer service THANKS PERFECT RESUME AN LIZ APOTE FOR HELPING ME!

Answer: UNAUTHORIZED PAYMENTS TAKEN. $24.95 a month, EVERY month. Check your credit card companys protection plan and report them. You may not be liable for unauthorized charges and services not rendered. Also report misleading and false promises such as them telling you the charges will stop. REPORT THEM TO YOUR STATE ATTORNEYS OFFICE! For newbies to the site... they will be so sweet and kind and tell you they will cancel. They will not. TAKE ACTION! The positive reviews are not from real customers.

Answer: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I am a very organized person who worked for the state that I reside in as an investigator. I had an injury and had to make a change in my career. I am very careful about getting pulled into scams, however, I felt that this would be a good opportunity to build a resume and cover letter that was more updated than when my original resume that I wrote years ago. First of all, the templates are not free. After spending a long period of time writing the perfect resume, I only had the option of spending $2.99 to have access to the resume/cover letter. I felt that was a reasonable fee for the use of the template. As I stated, I am very organized and manage my finances very well. I made sure that I went into my account and cancelled by subscription after 5 days of use so that I would not be charged the $29.99 for the month. Today, I checked my checking account and sure enough the $29.99 had been deducted. I immediately called customer service and they stated that my cancellation had not gone through and they had no notification of my cancellation. They were willing to give me back only $14.00 of my $29.99 back and then went on trying to sell me more offers. I was extremely angry and then spoke with a supervisor. He also argued that I had not cancelled. I went through the same steps to cancel my account while the supervisor was on the phone with me. Low and behold the cancellation went through! Obviously, this company has set up the cancellation process to fail and you will be charged the $29.00 anyway. I definitely learned my lesson! I had to threaten to have my attorney to get involved due to this company stealing money from my account before they agreed to reimburse my full $29.00. They could not give me a refund confirmation number for the remaining reimbursement. I as a Social Worker who advocate for people could not conscientiously could not write a review to warn people of this scam.
