Over Charged

I used this service back in January of 2017. I tried the free trial, and canceled after I finished my resume (knowing I wouldn't use it again after). Despite canceling, I'm still being charged the $25 a month fee. I haven't been given any emails or notifications that I was still being charged, and recently discovered they've taken $150 from my bank account. When I emailed them about it, they wrote back an email discussing something entirely different and won't respond and WILL NOT refund me. I'm extremely angry and am getting my bank involved. I usually do not go out of my way to write bad reviews, but I strongly advise people to stay away from this website.

I called Customer Service BEFORE I used this site and asked how much the cost is for the trial period and how long I had to cancel until i was charged any other fees.
14 days for a couple bucks ($)... make sure your resume is how you like it, save it, email it and make copies then cancel before your trial period is over...
QUITE SIMPLE & NO PROBLEMS. If you pay attention you won't have to pay extra fees!

This resume builder is good in the beginning, but when I tried to stop with them, impossible! I sent 3 mails with my informations but They stil charging me $25 even though I hadn't used the account in over a month. Overall, a total ripoff! Very disappointed!

Oh my god... Over a year ago, I used my perfect resume to help create a resume I needed for a teaching position. I got it exactly the way I wanted and it was perfect for my first interview. At first, the resume is advertised as "free to create." But when it came time to print, I needed to pay for it. I was asked if I wanted to buy a membership or just pay $2.99 for the one time print. So, I agreed to pay the one time fee, printed my resume, and was done with it.
Fast forward to today, I check my bank account and I see a charge on there from MyPerfectResume for $35.80. When looking back, I noticed that they charged my account $35.80 every month for the last 18 months. So, when I called to cancel the membership that I did not sign up for, the man on the phone tried to sign me up for another membership. Are you kidding me? This company is sneaky. Do not use them. You're better off using a resume template from Microsoft word that is FREE.

Service Agent Angel L. Was very helpful and personable. The resource itself has been useful so far, as well. I haven't yet explored all of the resources available, but so far, no complaints.

P.S. I did use the cancelation instructions which were provided. May have been small print. Got to look for the small print peeps!

Fantastic Tool!

MyPerfectResume was great! It was very clear from Day 1 that the initial $2.95 fee was for a trial membership that would last for 14 days. It was also crystal clear that after 14 days I would be charged $24.95 every 4 weeks to continue the membership.

I used the resume builder and cover letter builder to put together several very good resumes and cover letters for different job focuses for me and my spouse. I also read through the interview tips section. It was very easy to save each of the resumes and cover letters for future use. And, it was easy to email both directly from the site.

Lastly, the customer service rep Gabriel was very helpful. He cancelled my membership quickly and without any hard pressure to keep the service beyond the 14 day trial (my membership ends tomorrow).

I would highly recommend this service. Just make sure that you open and read the email that they send to you with your account # and cancellation date prominently displayed inside of it. The service was great all-around. Thank you!

This resume builder is a good product and I got a job very quickly using it along with my background. I had only used it 1 time and never again but was charged $25 each month for an additional 3 months without knowing. My bad for not checking my charges but it was never clear that I would be charged each month. I called and they refunded 1 month but not the others. Shady way to take peoples money...

This resume builder is good in the beginning, but even if you pay the $2 fee to download it, they'll continue to take money out of your bank account. They charged me $25 even though i hadn't used the account in over a month, and then when i called and demanded a refund and for them to cancel my account, they took another $5 from my account. Overall, a total ripoff and is only there to steal your money.
