I used to love them but recently they changed the packaging from 220gr to now 180gr and still asking for the same price:(
Absolutely disappointed and stopped now eating this product.
Ordered a candy dispenser and personalized M&Ms. The machine is way overpriced and definitely not worth it. The candy arrived in a regular box with a small ice bag wrapped in paper towel which was totally melted upon arrival. It was 98 degrees and the package was left in the sun. I have ordered ice cream which arrived still hard due to the quality packaging. If it would cost more to have a different service then say so. When I told customer service they offered me 25% discount off a future order. Nothing about this order. I told them no thanks and I will not be back. Too many good places to order quality products.
Such a cute idea. I got these for my first wedding anniversary. The design came out great and it was delivered a whole week before the estimated delivery date. I even called customer service for a question and they were super helpful. Only complaint would be that I used a promo code for a discount but they ended up charging me the full price anyway, but I left it alone since it was only a small amount. Would definitely order again
I thought it would be a cute idea to get personalized M&Ms for my aunt and uncle's 40th wedding anniversary. I went straight to "create your own". I got to choose packaging (after customization) and saw the 10 lb bag was $159.99 when you select the price jumps to $249.99. There is no explanation so I called customer service. Surely I missed something about pricing. I looked through every step and nothing. Customer service said that I was supposed to go look through their site first to see that $159 is for the color and $249 is with customization. I asked why I should spend time looking through the website when I could just go to 'create yours'?
If the customization was ethical it would let you know there are 2 different prices in the "create yours" option. If the packaging price is one thing for just color then the packaging options should come after the color selection then you should be told that any further customization will cost extra. In the way they have it it should be safe to assume that the price they show after customizing is the price you will pay. I guess it is my mistake for thinking a company as large as M&M/Mars could figure out how to structure a website so that the expectation is not to spend hours on the site but can go straight to customization with the right prices shown.
I am still waiting for my order to be printed and delivered, so the jury is still out, but the amount of work and time I have put into this is ridiculous. First they called to tell me they no longer accept PayPal and I need to give another form of payment. Ok. My order was still "on track" for delivery on or before 6/2. On 6/4 I called because the status was still listed as "creating order." Apologies, additional discount, new due date of 6/5. Called today (6/6). Rep canceled my order and re-entered it with an expedite. Just got another call that they're out of one of the colors I wanted. Chose another color. New date 6/8. We shall see!
I ordered these for my husband's upcoming 50th birthday as a surprise. I ordered them a month in advance just in case anything happened. I checked in two weeks later and saw that my order was cancelled. When I chatted with customer service, they claimed they tried to call me to say that the colors I had chosen were out of stock. I checked my call log and voice mail and did not find anything. I asked why they didn't text or email. No reason why. So then they offered a 25% discount and free expedited shipping (party was in a week). I agreed and paid for another order. So now it is the day before the party, and I called to check on the second order which I was told was also cancelled. No call, email, text to inform me of this. The new rep I spoke to offered to give me a free order and ship it out today, so I said yes figuring at least we will have 2lbs of free candy with my husband's face on it but nothing for the party. I can not believe how awful this company is so look elsewhere for your items.
I tried to order personalized M&Ms for my sister's bridal shower with names on them. The correct names and colors where pictured in the order confirmation on the email and when I got them they were BLANK! I did not pay $80 for blank M&ms! After taking forever to get ahold over customer service they finally got a new order sent out, but I confirmed multiple times that I needed it by a certain day and it still did not arrive until the day after my event. I am not currently on hold with customer service for the 3rd time asking why my account still isn't refunded after another week and a half! Ridiculous.
I attempted to order some of their products as Christmas presents, when I attempted to check out it said something was wrong with my payment method. After trying again with the same result, I checked my bank account only to see that I was charged both times. I received no order confirmation and I was not able to contact customer support. After disputing the payment with my bank, their investigation determined that I was in the wrong and they took the money back. A horrible experience.
I was told my order would take 5-7 days and be there in time for valentines day. It then got delayed and i was told my two different people it would be there in time. I then heard it would be delayed one day and then two. Finally I said forget it and cancelled my order. Dont waste your time.
THERE IS ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE that you can rely on- ordering anything is a crapshoot at best- there is no recourse to get money back. This is NOT a reliable business.
Tried the New Caramel M&M'S... after just 6 of them I had enough the foul taste was only the caramel, and shortly I found out why. Within 30 min. My throat started to close up and off to the ER I went and a long story short they said they are finding a lot a people can not handle Palm Oil that seems that companies are now starting to put into ALL of our products along with another problamatic oil is Canola Oil... They claim that it for healthy reasons but the truth is it's cheaper and they make more money and has NOTHING to do with our health! Vote with your wallet folks and do not let them fool you with B**L S**T!
As you can see by my B. D. I've been around. I can remember when M&M's came to the corner Ma&Pa store in Chicago. A bag was a nickel; expensive when candy was going for 3 for a penny. I have enjoyed M&M's throughout the years. It was tradition to have a bowl full every Christmas. As I am older I like to take a few M&Ms in my mouth and let them and let the candy coating melt and get this great taste of chocolate. Well a couple weeks ago I bought the NEW package of of M&M's at the Dollar General Store. I thought it was a bad batch. Put a few in my mouth and it melts and I have candy coating with just a hint of chocolate. I threw the bag out. "BAD BATCH". I did not buy from there since then. I was at a Walmart Store and bought the Family Size bag. Same thing same crap. Little M&M's, not the medium and a freaking fancy recloseable bag. WHO GIVES A CRAP ABOUT THE BAG I'M BUYING IT FOR THE PRODUCT. Bags in the fridge and for the first time in my life I am returning this back to Walmart
I bought a graduation personalized M&M the first time it was good, they liked it in my party and a lot of people ordered it to copy my giveaways. This time I am very disappointed because some of my kids candy have a word "place picture here", and "facebook" and now (June 20) they told me to order it again with 25% off. This is for a party that happened June 17 and I told them that because I emailed them before graduation party. And why will I ordered again and then pay for shipping myself. You need a better solution in dealing with customer.
I really like M&Ms but I have noticed that some of the pieses in each bag are damaged in some way. In one package I had had one piece that was larger then the rest and looked like it was stepped on it had cracks. And in every package there are always damaged ones.
I ordered 2- 2 lb bags of customized m&m's with expedited shipping for an additional $ 20.00. Within 30 min of placing my order I sent an e-mail to customer service requesting a change to my order as the on-line chat was not at option at that hour of the night... I received an e-mail the following afternoon stating that my order was shipped, no changes as since it was expedited they could not honor/would not honor my change, needless to say the m&m's where nothing special, quality was so-so and the second bag was not what I had wanted... needless to say huge waste of money over $100.00 for 4 pounds of m&m's... save yourself time, headache and money, go to Sam's club and buy a 4 l bag for under $ 10.00 put them in cute bags w/ ribbon or go to Michael''s and bug little plastic containers and fill them with multi-colored m&m's you will enjoy them so much more and your wallet will thank you, I will not order or recommend this to anyone... absolute horrific customer service out there...
I had a very rocky & unpleasant ordering experience with this company. We were originally wanting to do something special to give out as party favors & for party use for our daughter's 4th birthday party. 3 weeks later after I ordered this product, I still didn't get a solution & now I ended up with candies I not able to use for the party & had already spent couple hundreds on this order, left with just candies to eat ourselves & not for the party use. Very disappointed.
Upon first few initial scoop of the product received, we found the quality of the printed product was very poor, the image we used was not as printed as the photo, image & text on the candies were smeared, stretched or missing print. The color 'silver' we choose was not silver at all on the final product, but it looks like a medium or dark grey.
Challenging to choose the right image when it does not have an exact printed preview of the product outcome on their site, which makes choosing the right image harder. My worst experience for online ordering regards to customer service response to complains & poor quality.
Very poor handling of customer service in terms of time it takes to resolve my complains & the effort to make things right. No replies or response after several attempt to email them regarding a solution. Then they called me 2 weeks later to offers solution. And after that, they send me a solution I didn't agree on verbally or through text. Just bad experiences.
Living Social deal was spend $15.00 to get $30,00 worth peronsalized M&M's. Before buying, I checked out myMMS website to check prices of M&M's. Several different options for $30.00 and under displayed. Bought the Living Social deal and then went to myMMS and customized my M&M's using their list of options. What the website nor the Living Social voucher tells you, is that you MUST pick a form of packaging from the myMMS website as part of your package (like a candy bowl, candy dispenser, etc). What you don't realize is that the price of this packaging changes significantly once it contains "personalized" M&M's versus just plain old M&M's. In most cases the prices doubled ($60 for less than a pound of M&M's just because it's shipping in a glass bowl or fancy box? Are you crazy?!). I did manage to find a 1 (just 1) type of packaging that would not exceed my $30.00 voucher amount (it was a graduation box, which I would discard since my order was for father's day). But guess what? The price was actually $29.99 so the voucher could not be applied since my order was $, 01 less than the voucher amount. I called myMMS to reason that surely they didn't price packages 1 cent lower than voucher prices in an effort to extort more money from me just to be able to use my voucher. But they couldn't do anything. In the end, the only way to use my voucher was to spend a minimum of $50.00 on silly packaging I didn't want. So in the end the bargain I thought I was getting for $15.00 ended up costing me $35.00. And oh, this was for the equivalent of 5 small packages of M&M's! Never again!
People couldn't stop talking about how great the image looked! I realized I chose the wrong packaging and the customer service agent was friendly and knowledgeable, they made my changes and I couldn't be happier with the final product. I'll definitely be ordering again for special events.
$55.00 worth of chipped chocolate shipped in goo. Lettiering is small, Not like the pictures. They better give refunds.
I decided to personalize M&Ms for a 60th birthday trip 8 of us were going on. I had a hard time having so many faces so I worked with customer service and decided on 2 different orders with 4 faces each. I printed a picture and cut out the heads and taped them close together in 2 flower patterns (4 & 4) then took two pictures to download. M&Ms don't recommend more than 3 faces but I said do it anyway and I would take responsibility. They arrived quickly and came out great. I put them in 8 separate bags with a copy of the picture on the outside of each since they were small but everyone loved them. I also helped a women I work with to order for her skate team. She was pleased with the results. I read many negative reviews before I began but realize most were from customers that had problems so I wanted to add a positive review. Thank you to M&M customer service for all their help. Everything was great.
Answer: Lol, it's time for new contact lenses. I thought under topics it said Chocolate Party Favors, COLONWORKS, instead of Colorworks! Took me a few minutes and a bit of squinting to realize what it said.
