STAY AWAY!
July 10, 2019

This website autopopulates your information that is gathered from other open sites and creates banner such as "Criminal Record" or "Failed Background Check" in order for you to follow the process, even if you are the user and you know the information is false. WORSE website and WORSE scam I have seen.

Over the months of Feb, Mar & Apr was billed more than $85 to my debit card. Had never even been to their website before. Had no idea who/what they were. Tried to call number on my back statement, I was always 47th, 32nd 18th caller in que. Emailed them. They said they'd talked to me on phone & had refunded my money. I'd never gotten through to talk to anyone. Tried calling again and again, keep getting msg about how many are in line ahead... In fact I had the bank reissue my debt card. Emailed again & again, keep getting a canned email saying they'd contact me in 24-72 hours. Have never been contacted. Don't do business with this company... no even sure they're a company. Can't get my money back...

Where do I begin! They have me listed as living in states I've never even stepped foot in. Have people listed as relatives that aren't and some people listed THAT I'VE NEVER EVEN HEARD OF. Thry list me as single with no children. I've married since 2010 and we have 1 child. They listed my husbands family as my relatives (among the other I mentioned they listed), though they don't list me as married. They don't list my actual family (parents, 3 brothers, aunts, uncles, etc...) My family has been from the same town for over 400years! It's not like it'd be that hard to find. They claim I have a criminal record. Well, if you consider a speeding ticket I got over 20 years ago as making me a criminal. No listing of military service... I truly hope people don't take this site seriously!

A Complete Scam
June 30, 2019

I went through trying to backtrack my old address, and looking at my page, it listed the birthday and age. HOWEVER it listed MANY MANY items that are not even related to me and false (i'm not married but it says i'm married and related to 5 other random people that aren't even remotely close to me) and also it states my religion incorrectly too, have criminal records, among many other items.

When trying to reach out to correct this, they want me to pay them to have it corrected.

Basically they want me to pay them to NOT LIE about my own information and continue to have up on the website false info. How has this site not become a target of legal action?

They are scammers
June 25, 2019

I signed up for a trial membership for $1.00. They charged me a $1.00 and then charged me $83.40 for a full year membership. I called them immediately and told them I did not sign up for the year membership. They refused to refund the money but said they would only charge $14.95 for the membership. They said they would send a confirming email. The representative was mean and you couldn't stand her. They are scammers.

When teachers tell you about bull$#*! research, it's things like this worthless website. I wanted more info on a man I factually know to be a repetitive convict, drug dealer, and abuser and nothing was in his history. A clean woman I know well had a lower score. I'd rather pay for that checkmate website

Unless you are just seriously curious about what you're "public record" says or are interested in dirt, which may or may not be true, on acquaintances, I would stay away.

From my cell phone, I opted for the 7-day $1 trial. Easy, right? So, most of my information was correct including the traffic violations. They picked up some from 20 years ago, but none of the recent ones. Interesting, NONE of my professional licenses were listed, not even my government-issued creds. My reputation score was a complete joke. I have excellent credit, NO outstanding anything and all of my past traffic stuff is well over 10 years old. BUT! AFFILIATIONS! WHOA! Bright red alarms going off. It seems some of the people in the periphery of my life have some serious issues with which they need to deal... but HOW DOES THAT NEGATIVELY AFFECT ME? How does my husband's ex-wife's stepson's court issues affect me?

Now, trying to cancel the 7-day trial: NONE OF THE LINKS WORK TO ACCESS MY ACCOUNT FROM THE dozen emails they've sent since last night. ALSO, NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE Number given to cancel. In a few days, my card will be charged $49 for this crap. I'll be diligent, and if I must, I'll report them as a fraud to my credit card. So, if a member of management is reading this... I'm going to the mat if you don't answer your phone or make the links work to my account.

This site had me listed twice, once at an old address and once at a new address. One said my reputation score was 3.75, the other said it was 2.95, the net worth was extremely wrong, and "CIVIL AND CRIMINAL RECORDS found" was fake. I am game to file a lawsuit against these people if anyone else would like to join me. This is beyond wrong.

SCAM
June 7, 2019

Anyone else notice how the most successful people seem to have the worst scores & the most needs verified supposed information? No coincidence that those are also the people who can afford the fees requested when you click on any leading info that first pops up? It's worth a search on the most successful people that you know before you become too alarmed. There is little to no fact behind these MyLife reviews.

Nothing new under the sun, these sensationalist sites are all the same. They claim they found criminal information and liens etc on the person but when you finally pay for it, it turns out to be someone totally different or just a flat out lie. The only thing that turns out to be accurate is the headline they use to sucker people.

Liars and crooks no better than thugs. Save your money and hire a PD if you think its serious so they can do an in depth search of a persons background to find out the real deal. Like if they are promiscuous or a cheater etc, that stuff you will NEVER find on these scam sites.

Shame on these scammers
Posting erroneous information
Claiming you have a "reputation " score
Posting things such as court records relatives neighbors income political affiliations etc
Try contacting them... their emails say they can post what ever they want as its public information
And trying to get you to pay for removing information
There is a special place in hell for owner of this site

I saw this site also and decided to look up myself, to my dismay. This should not be allowed, causing misinformation. (They list neighbors too. Those who don't even live here, maybe not for years and what is the point of that, anyway?) I feel I may be confused with another with the same name using my middle initial with, as one alias.

Then I recalled years earlier getting phone calls from those inquiring about one with my name who was involved in a lawsuit, assuming I was the same person! I was not even in the same vicinity! This sort of thing should not be allowed. It's appalling that this sort of thing functions as it does and I see here that one would not want to contact them, either.

I don't know where to begin with this horrendous "company" who is run by a con-man. (Jeff Tinsley) let's see. Feeling bored one day I decided to Google myself, Bad idea. All kinds of personal information came up but Mylife was the first return in the search. And I was literally floored about all the personal info they had on me. Everything you could imagine long story short, this is nothing but extortion. They want you to pay a fee to "control" your own information that they obtained without your permission on their website. I had them delete my profile which they said would take some time, and I was ok with that long as my stuff was gone from there website. They tried to give me the run around at first, saying they couldn't delete my account but after I threatened legal action finally agreed to take my account down. This was all done through the Email system because I wanted to create a paper trail incase they put my profile back up without my permission. So far, so good. It looks like they have indeed taken my profile down but the interesting thing is there is almost a "mirror" account when I go back and search for myself. Birth date is a little off, and relatives name's are all changed but it's just enough different they can say it's not me? I dunno but I swear if they bring back my profile I'm going to be pissed. Something needs to be done about this, how is this legal? What if a stalker or Identity thief uses the information for crimes? Not to mention it's a total invasion of privacy. All for what? A "Online Reputation?" That this company is peddling? Its all really all quite unbelievable. Where are our lawmakers on this issue? Its completely infuriating. Mylife needs to be shut down!

Mylife.com is a fraud. They put wrong information about you and tell you to pay to correct it. My reputation score was 3.85 after I corrected the false information, afterwards, my reputation rating dropped to. 75 within 2 minutes. How could it drop from 3.85 to. 75 in 2 minutes? My credit rating with the three credit Companies are all above 830, I have only had two traffic tickets in my entire life and I own my house and cars without any loans and I have never had even one bad review in any other sight. You'd think my reputation score would be close to 5 and it was only 3.85. After paying them the money to fix their false information about my religion, nationality, etc, My reputation score dropped from 3.85 to. 75 in two minutes? I will try to talk to an attorney to see how to stop these frauds could be. Meanwhile, I wanted to share my experience so that no one would get fooled by them and send them money. You could also demand to be opt-out of their sight by calling them. I did remove myself but don't want them to take advantage of anyone else.
