I booked a flight from Portland, Oregon to Palm Springs, California, in order to attend my grandmother's funeral. It was last minute, as she passed very unexpectedly. When I found MyHolidays, i was excited about the prices they offered, however, it has been a nightmare dealing with them! One of my flights was delayed so long that United Airlines refunded me my fare and requested I rebook tickets. I did and was thankful for the help, as I was 6 months pregnant at the time and couldn't do 12+hrs of traveling. While United reimbursed me, MyHolidays has chosen to hold up releasing to me the funds. I discovered this after contacting United, over a month after the refund was initiated, and learned the reason I have not received my refund, is because MyHolidays USES THEIR OWN CREDIT CARD TO PURCHASE TICKETS AFTER THEY CHARGE YOUR CARD. My refund was sent to their American Express card, not to mine and MyHolidays has done nothing but send me emails in broken English and drag out the process of returning my money. My credit card company is standing behind me, but this is one of the most bizarre experiences I have encountered, and I have used most of the discount sites out there. Regardless of being a discount service or not, this is an unacceptable way to operate. I have been told a resolution would be had, I am still waiting and my credit card company is processing my claim as fraud. Below are screenshots of their "customer service". These are a few of many emails between their company and myself. Hope they are proud this is how they treat customers, especially when 7+ months pregnant and still grieving the loss of immediate family.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!

Did not send me a ticket until 3 hours after the flight has taken off!

I thought id just book a quick internal ticket but do not use them!

These guys are a bunch of scammers avoid at all cost. They charge you and them demand for more money and when you do not agree to pay they keep your money for a while till you get tired.

After payment they send a confirmation mail saying I will get the tickets in 30 minutes.
1. Had to call them inquiring about tickets when i didn't receive it after an hour. Then they demand for more money which I refused to do
2. Then they delay sending tickets, then when i call again in the evening they say they cannot do the booking as 2 passengers names are too long. I said refund me back the money. Then they kept on delaying the refund process.
3. Their customer support team located somewhere in India I believe sounds really dodgy and has no skills of customer service. They are talking as if they are sleeping and keeps you on hold number of times and has no idea of customer support or concern about your problem.
4. Luckily I paid via my credit card and managed to work with my bank to get the money back.
However I wasted lot of time and effort with these scammers. Avoid at all cost. I am going to report these fellows to SkyScanner as well as they shoal not have listed them in the first place. Read reviews of others and you will see a pattern of similar problems. Should have done that before paying them which was my mistake. I learnt my lesson.

I manged to get my tickets for less directly from the domestic providers here with no fuss after all this dramas.

Please don't trust this company and do not book from them, they are advertise falsely and once you are ready to pay enter all your bank details the price changes and increase, Also I booked twice and there system came up with a different last name for me containing 2 letters, at the airport I called as I have to change it or find a solution, they were useless and kept referring to the airline and asked me to call the airline or deal with it at the airport until I lost my flight and had to rebook another flight, they refused to refund or issue another ticket and when I threatened that I will take legal action they provided me with the fake screen shot of my first name and the wrong last name that consist of 2 letters and claimed that I entered my last name wrong, while they provided the stupid screen shot it showed that they system is crap as the birthday date which was compulsory to enter in order to proceed the itinerary, was not selected and the gender was left as male. However I am a female. I confronted them they just didn't response. DONT DEAL WITH THEM> WORRST CUSTOMER SERVICE- - - - - - - -

It was a hassle

Unfortunately our experience with my holidays was a real hassle.
The airline cancelled our flight and offered us another, which we were not able to take. After calling the airline they cancelled our flight and told us they would immediately transfer the refund to myholidays.
I wrote an email to myholidays about the status quo and asked to transfer the refund back to my credit card ASAP. No answer. Then I tried to reach them by phone, no one ever picked up. Only after threatening them with legal charges they would answer and ask for a confirmation from the airline, which I already sent previously. Back and forth by mail again threatening them with legal charges to finally made the payment, but only parts of the refunded money, saying they did not receive more.
NEVER EVER AGAIN!

No plane

This company books people on flights that do not exist. I went to the airport to get on a domestic flight that would connect me with my international departure. On presenting my self at the check in counter no one was there.
I was informed that the airline had stopped flights about two weeks ago.
Interesting
I contacted this provider and expressed my annoyance and was told I would get a full refund but no further help.
The refund has not happened. After multiple emails they still tell me the flight was there and it happened?
Only one flight left from this airport that morning, I fail to see how I could have been confused?
I did catch the flight and the seat cost me a very inflated price but I was thankful to get that.
This company has been no help to me, please do not trust them with your business!

SCAM

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE! Horrible company that advertises falsely (!) then "runs away" from providing actual service as promised or as they should. Ruined my vacation and had me losing 150$ and DAYS chasing them, did not provide a service I paid for, like a joke referred me to call the airline to fix it ( pracrically asked me to do their job), promised to refund amounts that they did not, promised to call back never did - shake off their reaponsibilities do not keep their side of the contract and also LIE which is the worst.

Unfortunately, the departure time stated on all myHolidays documents was wrong. So we were standing at the departure airport and nobody could help us, let alone myHolidays itself.

We had no other choice than to book a new flight. Which, despite intensive e-mail contact with myHolidays, we have never been reimbursed. Again and again we were put off with e-mails saying that they were in clarification with the airline etc. And since we have not sent out any e-mails since we tried everything for half a year and have not been able to get any further, myHolidays is no longer working. As if nothing had happened. No apology, no insight or anything else, nothing. Totally incompetent and totally incapable! Very, very disappointing!

Avoid this company!

Use at your own risk. My trip was 5 months ago and I am still waiting for a refund from a missed connection flight. The airline sent the return to MyHoliday since the reservation was through them. My Holiday keeps giving me the runaround on my refund that they have. I do not recommend this company. Avoid them!

Scam. Avoid at all costs.

Seemingly good prices, however, after booking they will call you and tell you the prices changed, ticket got cancelled, flight was overbooked or any other excuse they can think of and tell you to pay an additional amount to get 'new' tickets. At that point you have already paid the initial amount and if you cancel you will not get it back (they won't say as much of course, but it is clear). They will stop accepting calls and won't respond to e-mails (have literally called them 4 times a day at varying times for the last week and they have not answered a single time). Just avoid these criminals and book with a respectable company.

Scam dishonest

Very stressful I booked a flight through my holidays through Skyscanner and they took my money then said I didn't pay but the bank shows the money has left my account then they tried to take the same amount of money from my account 8 more times... then a woman rang and said my flight cost more than the ticket but my card declined... not true... don't use this company it's a scam

TOTAL SCAM!

They falsely advertise prices on sites like Skyscanner to trap you. The advertised prices are "verified" in initial steps but conveniently at the final payment step after your credit card details have been entered and you click pay, the price significantly increases (in my case by 50%). They are clearly trying to deceive people. The additional card/payment processing fee is also something that suddenly gets added on without warning (in my case approx. $40). I don't know how a company like Skyscanner can continue allowing such a deceitful company to be associated with them. Please beware!

We bought 4 round trip tickets from their site and right after charging my credit card, they informed me that they do not have 4 tickets for my fly but only 2. I asked them to cancel the order in this case and provide me refund but they refused to do that till now. Bad communications, Bad customer service, simply scammers.

Most unreliable

-Displayed price was not available at the very last step of the process - though it seemed to have been checked earlier in the process... Most strangely the initial price was still shown after "bringing me back" to the starting page!
-Hidden charges for Credit Card - None of the payment options offered allow to get the displayed price
Overall these look like poor tactics to appear first on search engines - I am never clicking myholidays again

SCAMMERS

How can this company can still be allowed to operate?
I'm still waiting for my money back. MYHOLIDAYS.COM ARE SCAMMERS! I purchased two tickets, one of the people I purchased the ticket is sick. I also purchased insurance on both tickets. I was denied a refund of $571.45
The person I spoke with was so rude.
I will mass text this to everyone I know including alot of my celebrity family and friends. I'm sorry but I work hard for my money and I bought the extra insurance. You have no right to keep my money!

The website seems to be a major fraud! Bought a flexi ticket as below:

1) Original ticket price with additional charge for flexi ticket: USD 95

2) Now charges from myholiday.com to change fight date: USD 192!

3) Airline offering ticket on rescheduled date: USD 93.

Guys, this is a total rip-off of a website! Beware when dealing with them!
