I have been delighted with all the information I have obtined from Myheritage, and the resources and information it provides.However contacting the organisation with enquiries and questions, not on their FAQ list is a nightmare.Providing information about renewal costs is also poor, as is trying to find information about subscriptions insufficient.Often advice about renewal subscription and loyalty rewards is incorrect.These issues need to be resolved as Myheritage continues to satisfy the needs of family researchers, and I hope steps are made to undertake these changes.

For the most part I'm happy with MyHeritage. Only finding the time to work on it is an issue. So time consuming. I have little time to spend on it. Another issue is I was promised a DNA Kit for signing up

I have been a member of My Heritage for a number years, the staff are helpful, informative, respectful and pleasant to speak to. I had several questions about using the site and they were very helpful in helping me to understand and how to use the site. The search information is also very helpful in finding relatives and family trees.

Ofte kan det også for mig være svært at definere problemet. Det ville være betydeligt lettere for mig, hvis man kunne sende problemet til et sted, så kunne finde problemløseren. Komminikationen må meget gerne foregå på mit sprog -dansk.
Everything is OK until I get sent copies of birth or death certificates. They are either blurred or to dark to read. Some of the names I am sent I cannot check them. Some people are lucky their families have kept records. Not mine. Anything I get sent that says things like 2nd cousin once removed I have to ignore as I have no way to check.

I have been with My Heritage for quite a number of years and have been very happy with them. My Heritage has an easy to use family tree builder, access to billions of historical records, DNA testing with amazing discoveries about your ancestry and also very impressive photo tools. I have found the customer support for any problems that I have had to be excellent.
Excellent site and easy to navigate for Family Research. I like the hints that are offered. I use this site more than Ancestry!

I first joined MyHeritage a few years back as I found that some other genealogy websites only offered a limited range of features. Since joining I have been able to further my reserach and have linked up with distant relaives
I've been working on my Family Tree for 25 years. There were times when I had to leave it because of work? But since going into semi-retirement, I've been able to spent hours and hours working on it. MyHeritage has given me the structure and freedom to build-on, research and confirm hundreds of people connected to me. Surprises and exciting finds have solved decades old mysteries and given closure to so many questions. The theory of relativity is one such benefit, which gave me the final piece of a puzzle. As time goes by and more mysteries are unravelled, questions answered and information shared, I will eventually be able to do a completed 10 generation fan chart for each of my immediate family members But until then I will enjoy the challenge and be thankful for the platform from MyHeritage 🌳
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team ([email protected]).

They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
