My Heritage is an amazing site for ancestry. If I had the extra money every month I would be a full time subscriber but Social Security is limiting. I found out things my mom wasn't even aware of. I really enjoy this site and the way they keep you informed of new info. It is my hopes that I can return to it soon. If you haven't given My Heritage a try you should. It is a better site than their competitors I think.

Everything is good so far with the site, however, I would like to merge duplicate individuals rather than find them, go to each one and either delete one or delete the duplicate, and move any family members over to the saved individual. It's very time consuming and is easier with Ancestry.com

I joined in hopes of finding the father of my 6th grand grandfather. I have been able to find several people that have him in their trees but none have anything to prove who is father was. No documentation.

I joined because a few of the children I had created had found me after learning that I was their biological father due to being a sperm donor in college. I chose to have my DNA on record with 3 different company programs so that any of my children would be able to find me in the future. I struggle to keep up with the information you send me, but I have hopes I'll have it all together by the time I'm unable to work on it.

I had already been working on my family tree for a while and then I hit a roadblock. Decided to pay for the platform thinking it would help me breakthrough but it was money that just went out and I'm still at the exact same roadblock. Unless you're a professional or love reading through a million hard to read records. Maybe just pass.

From 22 April still I did not receive my health data result. It is very long time. Especially if on web site is stated analyzing time is max 2 month.
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
