I get confused as lots of red herrings appear sometimes. There is a lot of information which can be interesting, but false too. Also don't understand a lot of what's available, so go round and round in circles. Also in my account box is a DNA kit to buy that has been ticked, I don't want this and didn't tick it and I can't remove it. My membership automatically renewed, without being emailed first to say it was due, this was sorted but annoying. Overall a good site, but hard work it's probably because I'm old and can't get my head round it all.

Talking to a Bot my save you time and therefore money but is very frustrating and wastes my time. So most of the time I just ignore the problem and carry on which doesn't help at all. I have sent emails to your help line, My Heritage Support and just never receive any response. When I did my renewal you confirmed that there is a problem downloading to Family Tree Builder on my Mac. There has always been a problem and it would appear to never have been resolved? I no longer have it on my desktop. When I do a data download for my DNA kits it says it will send me the file via email but it also never arrives! I have given up! I do not appear to be able to download photos when I am doing matches. The photos show up on the comparison tree bu then do not show up when I am downloading the data - the only photos that I can transfer are the portraits in the portait section for each match. I tried using the Bot but gave up - very frustrating! These are the main items that describe my experience!
I am so very pleased to have found MyHeritage! It is helping me immensely in terms of connecting not only with my ancestors, but others within my family line alive today! Thank you MyHeritage for all that you do for so many!

After introducing newspapers and oldnews.com there was a bug that didn't allow to synchronize FTB with family site.
Très bon site de généalogie qui donne de nombreuses informations dans nos recherches. Je sais parfaitement que c'est un travail énorme de la part des personnes chargées de faire ces recherches afin que nous puissions étoffer nos arbres mais je pense que l'abonnement est un peu cher. Je continue à l'utiliser malgré cela. Je le recommande car il est franchement bien et les alerte sont très précises.

Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team ([email protected]).

They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
