I had to telephone to resolve a query about uploading DNA data, Sharon M. Was most courteous and helpful, although she had to make further enquiries for me. As it turned out, my concerns were misplaced. Sharon wasn't fazed and I was grateful.
I had difficulty accessing the site as all of my usual passwords failed to work and when I tried to reset my password on line I kept getting an error message regarding switching off my popup blocker. However even with that function disabled I was still getting the same error message. One e-mail to MyHeritage support resolved the problem and I am now exploring my heritage and creating a family tree. Many thanks for your prompt service.

I was not able to access the "Family Site" for my four genealogy projects. The problem was sent up the line of experts until Ron helped me out and after a number of attempts he was able to get it all straightened out.
I was so pleased to receive a prompt and detailed response to my numerous questions and concerns regarding Family Tree Builder. It may have been a time saver, however, if I could have spoken to someone, but have not been successful in that regard. I dial the number on the website and there is no answer; the phone just rings continuously. I have called on a previous occasion and it worked very well. Many thanks!
The My Heritage website and staff are extremely professional and friendly amd easy to deal with. I was most impressed with Peter who helped me with my account enquiry.
I could not log in as the email was wrong, after trying many options they all wanted an account number, which I could not get! I rang the sales. The lady there (PaulineG) was extremely helpful, and made sure I could log in before she left me.
It Might be nice to have an option for account holders who can't log in?
DNA analysis is complicated enough for us newbies without websites making the subject more obtuse. When I encountered a problem with one of my DNA kits not being properly assigned (I had uploaded a new family tree file and severed the links) I was therefore getting very frustrated trying to find a solution on my own. But less than five minutes on the phone with a very helpful technical support person set the matter to rights and showed me how to take care of such problems in my own in the future. This is the way technical support is supposed to work but seldom does. Many thanks to MajaI.
The representative was argumentative and of no help. The answers she gave me were nebulous.
Now I must submit at least 100 characters before I can submit my review. Evidently, My Heritage is not that interested in feedback.

My Heritage is the best ancestry site I been on and is easy to use. They have sent me emails helping me find and match My relatives.
Last year I accidentally applied for some extra information and did not realise I had to pay for it. Some months ago my account was debited with the $110 US but as I had been in hospital for a long time by the time I realised it was too late to cancel. I wrote to Gerard and explained my error and in no time my debit had been reversed and my account credited. No questions, no arguments it was immediately refunded notwithstanding it all being my fault. They are great people to deal with.
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team ([email protected]).

They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
