I recently discovered my account was in my name but used my wife's email address, making it harder to monitor on our desktop PC. This was resolved quickly and efficiently by one of your customer service advisers.

My problem was that I was unable to use the Book Report. It kept saying book report software wasnt installed or something like that?
I contacted the My Heritage Support team and they sent me an email with how to update the software. It was an easy fix in the end.

I was pleased to be able to contact My Heritage by phone regarding my subscription. The operator explained the time difference was the reason I could not contact the Billing department. She has taken my email address and phone number and hopefully I will get a call back soon.
Lorna, in Ireland, patiently walked me through the complicated process of transferring two sites into one, multiple times until we got it to work. Best and most patient help I have ever experienced. Great job Lorna and My Heritage.
In a computer crash, I lost Family Tree Builder with all my contacts and photos -- years of work. In trying to restore it, I lost them on the MyHeritage website. Luckily they were backed up on the website, and the Help team showed me how to restore them on Family Tree Builder and the website.

Saoirse was extremely helpful in figuring out, when I had the 14 day trial plus wanting to be billed for the annual rate, couldn't access the the information once I logged on. She was able to trouble shoot what the problem was and she was able to give me a new password which enabled be to pursue my genealogy resesrch.
She was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable in helping me out today. She was very patient with me for which I am grateful.
I told her I found out my girlfriend, was actually my half-sister, whom I worked with at a bank over 40 years ago. We still laugh this, God has a sense of humor.
Saoirse is a valuable asset to My Heritage.com.

Sedan jag tittade senast på min sida har programvaran blivit uppdaterad (är bättre nu). Kanske var det uppdateringen som gjorde att lösenordet försvann.
Myheritage program I have been using for 4 years. It has been able to assemble a Family Family Pedigree of 16 generations. This amount of data and clarity can not be solved by another program with the same focus. It has many functions for bug fixes.
Thanks to this program, I found other relatives I have not known before.
I have been struggling with a number of problems dealing with matches from Myheritage - I was close to giving up.
I rang the local number and the English speaking rep took me through various processes and menus and explained how I should proceed. Such a great help

Everytime I call - it has been often lately - they are very very helpful in guiding me to fix my mistakes, or add adopted children. This last time it was Megan., who was very patient with this old great grandmother!
I have had a tree on My Heritage now for several years and I have found numerous relatives & ancestors. Record hints, photo hints, matches with other trees, newspaper matches, DNA matches, etc, etc, all makes for an interesting journey through history. Purchasing birth, death & marriage records can be quite expensive but thankfully through My Heritage I can see details of these records and I can save the details to my tree. The best decision I have ever made was to purchase a subscription to My Heritage
I never really knew about my heritage. Basically, what I really knew, is about my Mother, and Father, and my two Grandmother's told me. Beyond that, I was in doubt. But I was told I was American Indian, a little German, and English. With the DNA it's really opened up a lot of things I never knew about myself. So now I know where I came from. I had a query regarding seemingly ambiguous date entries, however the support member explained the reasons very satisfactorily and I was entirely satisfied with the help given. Many thanks.
I had some questions about the results of my DNA test and was pleased to get a response within 2 days. Not only was my question answered, but a follow-up e-mail from Gerard had a complete and understandable explanation about genetics, etc that really helped me understand everything better.
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team ([email protected]).

They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
