My experience normally is wonderful. However sometimes it will not let me access items sent to me on my heritage an d it tells me I have to buy a program to get into these. Yet they are sent on my email. And I have access. So I don't understand. Otherwise I love heritage.

It's incredibly interesting to get to know your ancestors. MyHeritage provides you constantly with suggestions from all over the World. In this way, you can easily construct your own family tree step by step.
My tree was there but I had no access to it. After a couple of phone calls, I basically had to re-enter family data again in order to access each line of family data. I have no idea is this fixed everything. I have no idea, and the people I talked to did have any idea which I lost access to my family tree. It has never happened before and I hope it never happens again. Time will tell if it is resolved.

I have used MyHertiage for several years and have enjoyed the possible links to other sites and members family, Recommended matches and smart matches.
I am in the last year of the 5 yr package I purchased, one part of the package was I would have great support service. In the past I've had no issues but I also i didn't have to contact support very much. In the last couple of months I've needed help but it's impossible to talk to a live person. In fact there is no option for that, the chat box AI doesn't understand everything and referring me to the self help page didn't have my issue. In the past week I called twice about an email concerning a DNA kit at a low price and of course when I called the number listed for any questions it said leave a msg and we will get back to you, I am still waiting.
My overall experience score has decreased from 4-5 stars to 2 because your team has been, curiously, helpful but unforthcoming, despite more than an hour-long Chat, regarding a solution for using a £50 gift card code to purchase two of your products. Three days before the Chat, on 10/11/2025, and before the code end date had run out, I had been trying to buy the products online, but the MyHeritage online system failed to work, hence my subsequent chat.

Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
