They keep taking 10.00 out of my account and i never signed up! They said that i did and they have my card number. They have takin out since 2018. I will let fraud department at my credit union deal with it!
I had many problems at first. They apologized and begged me to take down the review and I did to try to give them a second chance. However soon after I attempt to log into my account and they say it was "suspended". I contacted them and they demanded a photograph of my credit card. Never heard of such a thing. They said because I was not using an "American credit card". This is such a USA approach - unable to think of anything beyond their borders but eager to accept any and all $$ ASAP (provided it is "an American credit card"
Myfax.com is a scam website. They refused to cancel my trial account when I requested. They are holding my personal information and credit card hostage. I have reported the company to the better business bureau and the California attorney general.
In the past, this service was good. For the past several months, this service has become horrible and useless. I can virtually fax nothing. Either it locks me alleging I am entered the wrong password, when I AM NOT; or it gives an error message. The customer rep. Said there's a problem with the server recently on Google Chrome. I would get rid of this service immediately except that they have record of all the faxes send and received for the past five years.
I feel so bad. Myfax.com sent me an email trying so hard to help me. I had not seen their message. I wrote an awful review. I see others have but possibly others didn't known they had no control over the trial offer. It was the way I set it up. It was not their fault. They went above & beyond with their instructions but they cant do it. I have to. They spent alot of time writing very detailed instructions. If you email them, they will help you! I feel so bad!
Signed up for the 30 day free trial. Didn't want to keep the service as i wasn't using it. Tried to cancel and they said i had to call. Tried to call and can't get anyone on the phone. Was disconnected multiple times from the online chat service. 3 months later i finally try again as they are continuing to charge me. After getting disconnected and transferred to 3 different people, finally get the account cancelled however they are unwilling to issue a refund for the 3 months i paid. Ridiculous. Don't sign up for the free trial because you won't be able to cancel without a fight, they will continue to charge your card and no refunds.
I received my first filling this January after the 30-day trial. I contacted to cancel the service after seeing the billing. They did cancel but would not remove the charge even though I have not used the service. Make sure you cancel before the 30 days. This is an easy $10 for them. After I replied that I wanted the refund, the sale person, Philip, hung up on me.

I signed up for the free trial to send 6 pages. Attempted several times but the fax never went through. Tried to cancel and they said I went over my 100 pages and that I would be charged for that. When I tried to argue, they only continue to say they will not refund. My card was charged, the fax never went through, and all on a "free" trial. Avoid at all costs. This is a scam.
I asked my fax to cancel my $10/month account on 12/15. They emailed me on 12/25 (Christmas) to say that I had to call to cancel and so I tried but did not have my fax number with me so waited until I got home from my trip. Customer service rep would not cancel effective when I notified them and said that they would not refund the $10 fee charged on 12/26. I have now cancelled and contested the charge but just want to tell everyone that the attitude and service mindset in quite poor and I would not recommend signing up!
I just discovered that MyFax has been charging me for a fax number I did not know about for the past 7 years. I have one MyFax line so when my wife saw a MyFax charge she thought all was okay. We do not audit our CC bill that carefully. One day she saw that there were 2 charges and so I looked into it and discovered the additional line I knew nothing about. The MyFax service rep acknowledged that the line had never been used, but claimed that MyFax emailed invoices to me. This was an outright lie! Now I found out that many others are having billing issues with this company. I filed an Attorney General complaint and urge you others to do so too.
This company will tell you that they have cancelled your subscription on the phone and they never do. They keep charging you until you notice it. Not suggest to anybody who value their money and time.
I tried the free month (Nov-Dec 2019) and was able to send a few faxes successfully, once I learned to set outgoing faxes to 'standard' mode. Staff helped me with this.
Cancelling the service was straightforward, less than 10 minutes on the phone and staff (Alex) were polite.
They dont let you leave unless you call and they don't even respond, they should be sued! Scammers.

I signed up for a free trial sent 2,1 page faxes. I then got an email saying that my account was suspended because i had a lot of activity on my account that was causing charges. I checked my credit card statement and had 2 $10 charges on my account. I called the company and they stated I has over 300 faxes sent on my account and that is was suspicious, they wanted me to send in a picture of my credit card on of the front and one of the back with the cvv #. Ummm... don't think so. Immediately transferred all my money to another account, then called the bank to make a fraud report and cancel the card. Stay away from them, complete scam, no legit company is going to as for pictures of your credit card

This company is a 100% scam. I tried this product and sent 4 faxes but all were coming out black. Also, they claim it is a two week trial but I cancelled long before two weeks and still got charged because the other piece of the scam is they claim you sent 100pages even if you sent 12 because they claim number of pages is based on transmission. Stay away from this place because it is a very fraudulent company.

They give you 100 "pages" to send in a month but apparently each page means 60 seconds of transmission, if it takes more than 120 seconds to send 1 page then that means 2 pages! Nowhere on the website it mentions any of these. When do you expect 1 page does not mean 1 page but x seconds of transmission? Completely false advertisement.

Somehow they got all my personal data, very scary. I am reporting them to the proper authorities. They charged me for an account I never used and they refused to provide me a refund. This company is fraudulent, I dont know how they are still open. Please dont trust them with any of your information.
I have nothing but thankfulness towards MyFax. They are a great tool I used for two months. I gladly paid for their assistance. I had no issues with them.
When I wanted to cancel, I just called and terminated my account easily, no hassle and no pressure.
I will buy from them again if I ever need a fax service in the future.
After multiple emails stating that I want to cancel my subscription, I was told I had to call them or online chat. SO I did an online chat and was disconnected TWICE! Luckily I had canceled my CC on the account. I just wanted to stop the emails but I will just mark their emails as spam so I won't continue getting them. What a waste of my time!

Answer: It is a scam service, they will not fix your problem, cancel and call your bank for a charge back. They are offering a service they do not provide.
Answer: Because they can. I am sorry if that sounds flippant, but it is the truth and there is no other logical reason for it. Please note that they don't charge by the page, but rather by the minute and they purposely use a very small bandwidth to send pages.
